Absolutely superb!
The whole tour was well organised and stuck to the schedule provided. All the staff are true professionals. My family have commented that this was the best holiday ever! Everything was smooth throughout. We will definitely go back for longer and try out more activities.

A Must Do experience!
Aritsamaye Safaris Is awesome. They handled everything in a professional and timely manner. They stayed in contact with me throughout, before arrival, during arrival, and checked in once I’d arrived back to my hotel. Coming from Canada the advised me prior to arriving about obtaining a KAZA Viza and made crossing between borders fast and efficient. I can’t say enough about how seamlessly this was handled. 5 stars for Aritsamaye Safaris. I highly recommend, and will definitely use their services again if I get the chance.

Professional to minute details
This was the “5-Day Victoria Falls + Hwange National Park Safari Tour”. The tour was professionally organized. No over promising. We got more than what we were expecting. We liked that❤️. It was just fantastic for us. I hope the tour organizer keeps up this excellence.

Creating unforgettable memories in Victoria Falls
We booked 2 trips with Aritsamaye Safaris (AS)
The first trip was a 13 minute helicopter ride over Victoria Falls. There are a number of flight options but we found the shortest (and cheapest!) flight was plenty long enough to view the Falls and get a fantastic perspective. We were picked up from our hotel, taken to the heliport then after the flight we were taken on an accompanied walk through the VF park (Zimbabwe side). Our guide, Lox, was fantastic and very knowledgable. There are 16 viewing points and somehow each view offers a different aspect. Stunning. We strolled for about 90 minutes which is ample and not at all tiring.
The second trip was an all day Botswana safari. We were a little concerned that we were taking on too much but everything ran seamlessly. A 45 minute drive to the border (stopping twice to allow elephants to cross!), then 20 minutes or so crossing into Botswana, which was an experience in itself - warthogs accompanied us across the border.
The 3 hour or so drive in an open vehicle was great. Our driver certainly knew his way around, liaised with other drivers en route, and led us to everything you wanted to see. We were very lucky. The lunch break was well-earned and beautifully presented on the banks of the Chobe. The return to the border is by boat and, again, our guide made sure we saw hippos, crocs, elephants and beautiful bird life. A truly memorable day and highly recommended.
Communication with AS was excellent. We booked our trips 3 months before leaving UK. Between booking and actually going on the trips we had numerous questions and, without fail, each question was answered within an hour via WhatsApp. It felt very personal and our contact at AS, William, did everything to ensure we had a Victoria Falls experience to remember forever. Thank you.

5 - Day Vic Falls + Hwange National Park Safari Tour
Everything on the tour went off like clockwork--I was fully satisfied with their communication, vehicle transfer, and, Lodging arrangements
(for the 2 of us.) Both the lodges where we stayed Pioneers ( 1n ) and Robin's Camp ( 3n) were good.
At Vic Falls we had taken a Helicopter Flight--the Liaison person from Curated was Ms.Goldilockes- she is knowledgeable, good and efficient. My comments on the flight are -- that the Pilot simply flies you around - in my view he ought to be speaking , telling the passengers as to what he is overflying or what to see down below or what to expect. Before the flight, however, we, the 4 passengers were shown the flight path on a display chart, but that is not enough--there ought to be a personal touch by a running commentary/description by the Pilot.
At the Robin's Camp, their Guide/Driver Lue ( Lou ) is a gem - and is an asset to the Organisation.
One of us ( me ) is a vegetarian and we were both satisfied with their fare--in fact I observed that the chef at Robin's Camp went out of his way to provide the vegetarian fare as best as he could.
Overall we were happy and satisfied with the tour.
My thanks to Mr William Makava.

William made a great trip, perfect!
My traveling party of four was met by William at VFA Airport. We had two separate arriving flights, and the second was late. William got us (the first arrived) cold waters, and made us comfortable as we waited. Once everyone was there, he got us a driver to drop us at the meeting point for our Hwange Safari through the folks at Robins Camp. We made our way to Robins Camp, where we spent two wonderful nights, that included all our meals, as well as four game drives. We saw wild painted dogs (extremely rare), lions, giraffe, warthogs, impala, kudu, zebra, and more. Ironically we didn’t see any elephants in Hwange.
We were picked up again by William at the drop spot from Robins Camp; and made our way into Victoria Falls to Pioneers Lodge where we were staying for the final two nights. We hit the ground running with a lunch on the Zambezi River, followed by a walking tour of Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side. After a quick stop back at Pioneers, we made our way to the river again, this time for our Riverboat Sunset Cruise.
Next morning we had breakfast at Pioneers and were picked up again by William to head off for our helicopter tour of Vic Falls. Was really an awesome tour. From there we went to Victoria Falls Lodge for lunch, and William got us there just in time to see the 1pm vulture feeding, which was very interesting. From there we headed to the Zambia side of the bridge where two of our party zip-lined from Zambia back into Zimbabwe. At that point, I had mentioned to William that I was a little bummed I didn’t get to see a single elephant in Hwange. Within ten minutes, he had set up a local game drive in Zambezi National Park, which the Jeep was waiting us when we got back to Pioneers. After a literal five minute change of clothes, we were off on a game drive. This turned out to be one of the best moments of the trip. We mentioned that we didn’t get to see any elephants. Within about 20 minutes we were parked and surrounded by close to 30 elephants. There were points where these massive creatures were less than a meter from our Jeep. We also got to see a lot of zebra, and also found a few water buffalo on the way out of the park. Incredible experience.
From there it was back to Pioneers again for about three minutes this time, to change clothes for our BOMA New Years Eve dinner. A lot of fun local foods and drum show to ring in 2024.
Our last day was just as busy. We got picked up in the morning and made the trip across the border for our date with the Devil’s Pool at the top of Victoria Falls. An absolutely amazing experience. Highly recommend. Sounds insane, but they make it very safe. Not once did any of us feel scared.
That was our last stop on the trip. William then personally delivered us to Livingstone airport for our outbound flight back to JBurg.
Overall, William was an absolute gem. Each and every time we needed anything, William was there. When we came across any small snags, William got them corrected, and in most cases fixed the problem for the better. I can’t imagine a better trip, and William was the glue that held it all together. Would recommend him 1,000% for anyone looking to make this trip. Not only was he and the trip incredible, but it was a really solid value as well.
If you are thinking about booking this trip, DO IT NOW. Don’t hesitate!

Take caution
We took the one day tour to Chobe National Park from Zimbabwe. They came to a restaurant at Victoria Falls to collect the payment while we are having lunch. Basically they sent us to the border and handover us to other tour operator in Botswana. But after the tour they called and said one piece of US$100 we gave them is broken and the driver will go back to office and bring to us to exchange. When the driver came back with 3 x US$100 notes, we told them all the notes we carried are new and crisp. And the other 2 people in our group who are sitting across the couch took video while I handover the money. Then they said it could from someone else. However, the tour is OK.
