Great 4 Days Safari, High Recommendation
We had a 4 days camping safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater starting in Arusha.
The tour was well organized, the whole staff was very friendly and helpful.
We were 6 tour participants plus driver and cook.
We went to many points of interest within the parks and saw many animals.
Our cook Matthew always prepared delicious dishes, freshly cooked, big portions (too big to eat them up). I saw others safaris having lunch boxes but ours were always freshly prepared. Even beer and wine were included.
Although a camping safari I was surprised to have rooms the first night at our accomodation in Mto wa Mbu (Ngedere Lodge & Camp). Those rooms were really good, obviously recently built. They have a great pool, so take your swim suit with you (unfortunately we didn't).
The other 2 nights we were in already built-up tents on campgrounds, inside Serengeti and at the Ngorongoro crater rim (Simba Campsite A). Both sites were simple and that is what we expected.
Two things that possibly could be improved:
- The 3rd day we arrived quite early at about 16 hours at the campground
on the Ngorongoro crater rim. Not a lot you can do there.
So maybe going back from Serengeti later and/or making a few more stops on the way to Ngorongoro?
- I suggest to start driving back to Arusha 2 hours later from the Ngorongoro crater at the 4th day.
I guess Arusha should be reached at 18 hours.
Our driver Mandari (I hope, the spelling is correct) and our cook Matthew both were great.
We enjoyed our safari a lot.
I can fully recommend this company and this safari.

An Unforgettable Safari Adventure – A Must-Do!"
From the moment we arrived, this safari experience exceeded all expectations. The breathtaking landscapes, the raw beauty of nature, and the sheer excitement of seeing wildlife in their natural habitat made it a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about conservation. We learned so much about the animals, their behaviors, and the importance of protecting the environment. The game drives were perfectly timed, giving us up-close encounters with elephants, lions, giraffes, and more – moments I’ll never forget.
The accommodations were luxurious yet felt in harmony with the surroundings. Waking up to the sounds of nature and watching the sunset with a view of the savanna was magical. Every meal was a gourmet delight, and the service was impeccable – attentive, but never intrusive.
Whether you're a wildlife enthusiast or just looking for an incredible adventure, this safari is an absolute must. It’s not just a trip, it’s an experience that leaves you with a deep appreciation for the natural world.
10/10 – I can't recommend it highly enough!

Would recommend!
Great value for money. Even though we booked a budget safari, it didn't feel like that at all. We had great guides, everyone was super friendly and helpful. We got to see all the animals and the beautiful nature. We definitely enjoyed the campsites in Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
Only feedback we have: on a few occasions, we started our game drive 30-45 minutes later than planned. We didn't really know why, so it would have been nice to be informed of why we were delayed.

A Wild Escape into Nature – Beyond Expectations!"
My safari experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The sheer thrill of being in the heart of nature, surrounded by untamed wildlife, was both humbling and exhilarating. Every day felt like stepping into a nature documentary, with unforgettable moments around every corner.
Our guide was not only an expert on wildlife but also an incredible storyteller. He shared fascinating insights about the ecosystem, animals’ habits, and local conservation efforts, making each game drive more meaningful. I’ll never forget the moment we came across a pride of lions lounging after a hunt—such a surreal, awe-inspiring sight!
The camp itself was beautifully integrated into the environment, offering all the comforts you could want while maintaining an authentic connection with nature. Falling asleep to the distant sounds of nocturnal wildlife under a sky full of stars was pure magic. The food, fresh and locally sourced, added to the rich cultural experience.
What truly sets this safari apart is how it allows you to unplug and reconnect with the wild. It’s a rare chance to witness the beauty and power of nature firsthand, leaving you with a sense of peace and a deeper understanding of the natural world.
If you're seeking an adventure that will change how you see wildlife and the environment, this is the perfect escape. I’ll cherish these memories forever!

Incredible Safari on a Budget – Exceeded Expectations
I was amazed at how much we got out of this budget-friendly safari! The wildlife sightings were just as thrilling as any high-end tour—lions, zebras, giraffes, and more, all up close. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate, ensuring we didn’t miss a thing.
The accommodations were simple but clean and comfortable, and the staff made us feel at home. Even the meals were better than expected! For anyone looking for an authentic safari without breaking the bank, this experience is unbeatable.
Highly recommended for budget-conscious travelers!

Fexible, organised, experienced and well prepared tour Operator.
The experience of the safari was incredible. Everything went smoothly. We got picked up on time every day.
We would recommend to stay at the serengeti national park not only for one day but two. There we saw a lot of special animals and even their babys which is very rare. One highlight was the leopard with his baby. To see all the the animals that we saw wouldnt be possible without an experienced guide. We had a great one called „Mandarin“.
Also the food that was cooked for us was very delicious. Everyday there was something different to eat even for vegetarians. Our cooking chief was called „Pascal“. We also recommend going in a group because the long distances between the parks would be very boring if you’re alone with your partner.
All in all it was a great experience that we will never forget.
Besides the safari we would also recommend going on the coffee plantage tour. There we had a nice tour of an local that showed us the materuni waterfalls and explained us how the „chaga“ tribe lives. After that we had the best lunch we had on the entire trip wirh local foods. After lunch we got to experience how traditional coffee was made and could taste our selfmade coffee. Also here went everything smoothly.
With African Serengeti Tours (company) you could always talk about modifications of your tour and pick up locations or drop off locations. After the whole six days our guide dropped us of at moshi where we wanted to stay one night instead of arusha how it was originally planned.
Overall the price of 950€ per person is reasonable and we would do it again. Sleeping in tents wasnt that bad. Only negative about the trip were the toilets and showers in the nationalparks where you would stay overnight. But it was also possible so dont worry.
