Great experience
Despite being advertised as a budget tented safari, I only spent one night in a tent and the rest in private rooms. Food was plentiful and tasty and the water was kept cold. The landscapes and high wildlife numbers were breathtaking. Comfortable land cruiser and excellent driving skills.

Enjoyed my safari
I went into my safari not knowing what to expect. I am a single traveler and spent a lot of time looking for options to join a group. Lucas was able to find me a group to join at the last minute I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food we received, the camping and accommodations were better, so I wished I had brought a towel) and I enjoyed getting to see the animals up close. The highlight in my opinion was the early morning game drive making me glad I did a safari for more than one day.

The best way to visit Ngorongoro and Serengeti
We,as couple, booked with Serengeti African tours instead of our planned self-drive to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. This decision turned out to be very wise. We travelled in a group of 6 with a very experienced guide Simon. Simon is one of the best guides we have had during our many trips to southern Africa over the last 5 years. He is a very good driver on the narrow, bumpy, dusty, endless gravel roads that lead to Serengeti. He knows the parks very and is very efficient to get us trough the entries and exits, so that we did not loose time. His surprised us with his deep knowledge of wildlife and spotting skills that ensured we could see the big 5 in just a couple of days. And most of all, thanks to his empathy and positive attitude, he created a group feeling among the group solving ensuring all of the participants' personal aspiration could be met. A very good experience that i would recommend, and especially to anyone who would be hesitating between self-drive and an organized trip.

Amazing experience - expectations exceeded
What was advertised as a “budget” experience turned out to be incredibly nice. From the airport pickup, to all of our meals (very abundant and always including fresh fruits and vegetables) to our guide Douglas who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, he managed to spot all the most hidden animals and answer to all of our questions. Him and our cook Khalid always helped us loading our bags in the car and setting up the tents letting us a lot of free time to relax and soak in the beauty of the park. Also all the campsites advertised as “basic” were were lovely and very well equipped (sometimes even with warm showers!). We didn’t have a SIM card but WiFi is available at almost every camping and every picnic spot

Excellent experience
It is my second time doing a trip with Serengeti African Tours because the first one was already overwhelmingly nice. Especially Lucas is such a nice knowledged guy who can show you the most beautiful places in Tanzania. I can recommend booking a tour to the Meru falls and lake duluti where you can do a boat trip with such a nice view of Kilimanjaro. Also Materuni waterfalls and the hot springs are very nice. They make so much effort to make your trip the most amazing one. Over all everything went well with the picking up, food and drinks and such nice views. Worth all the money!!!

very satisfied safari
We have seen lots of animals, such as Big five, Lions, Leopards and Cheetas. Driver Jacob and cooker Dula both friendly and helpful. The campings are nice and situated in the natural surroundings. The price is good. It is my second time doing the same Safari and with the same travel organization Serengeti African Tours

Perfect Organisation and very helpful.
Many thanks to luca and david for the great organization and implementation of the hike.
I chose the marangu tour with an acclimatization day.
It was a great experience. Despite that we hiked at the start of the rainy season, we had very good weather conditions and the huts very also not very crowded.
The team was carried out including a cook, three porters and a guide (in German on request). the team gave me very good support and advice. I was particularly amazed at the quality of the food. delicious and varied dishes were prepared (there was always more than enough to eat).
The communication before was very good and easy. I was even able to rent missing equipment from David at fair prices. All in all, I would be happy to recommend the company
