It was a great tour with great guides, very nice accommodations and all the sights you wanted.
We are happy to recommend greenHippo to others. The trip was well planned from the beginning and we were supported in a friendly, fast and courteous manner. The planning before the trip went well. Then our journey began and everything went as desired and dreamed of. Punctual and very friendly drivers supported our days in Arusha. Then we went with two cars and two guides on safari, Tarngire, Serengeti and Ngororo. the two guides were very good drivers and were always able to answer all our questions in detail. So we took a lot from the country and its people. Michael and Julius were great travel companions. The accommodations were all clean and there was good food.

Karin from Green Hippo Travels was the best and a great help for our once in a lifetime trip. We wanted to see the crossing of the migration in the Mara River in the Serengeti. She came with great ideas and beautifull tented camps in Tanzania. Very good value for money she is very reliable and was very quick with the itinerary and we could add everything we wanted till the last minute.
The whole tour of 8 days was fantastic, we had the best driver/guide ever, Silva was so kind and knowledgeable, he has eagle eyes and made this trip even better. Next time we want Silva again he added so much to this great trip. We saw so many animals and birds in Tarangire the crater and Serengeti.
We defiitely want to go again in the future and offcourse with Green Hippo Travels!!

Excellent services, from day one till the last day of our Safari
We had anunforgettable trip, all thanks to Hippo Travels. despite some initial issues with our flights and luggage, they went above and beyond to resolve everything quickly and efficiently, even it it was not their problems. Our safari experience was nothing short of spectacular. It was just my husband , myself and our incredibly knowledgeable guide, who truly knows the bush. We did not share a vechile with other people. Joel (our guide) stories were captivating, and he ensured we saw everything we wanted. We felt completely safe in his hands throughout the journey. The lodges Hippo travels booked for us were outstanding, and the Maasai hut camp will forever hold a special place in our hearts. This trip was an adventure of a lifetime, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Oh and i must mention money wise a lot cheaper than the other tour operators. Super friendly, reliable and helpful! Something to never forget!
While volunteering here in Tanzania, I was keen to discover more of the country. Going on safari here was high up on my list. I have been on safari in South-Africa before, but this safari was not even comparable to the ones I did there! With the help of Karin and Astrid, we were able to put together a nice trip where I got to see the beautiful nature of the Serengeti, Ngronogoro and Tarangire. This made my experience in this country even more beautiful. Something to never forget!

A friendly, reliable and knowledgeable partner
Since we had never been to Tanzania, we were looking for someone who could help us with an idea of itiniary of how we could meet in a ecofriendly way the country, the People and especially the wildlife. Green Hippo Travels provided us with that.
Despite our limited time (just under two weeks) in the country, we had a huge amount of experiences we will never forget. But still Green Hippo found us plenty of relax time; not in Zanzibar but among other with the Masaai. Very fitting for us.
