All in all the tour was great!!
Max our tourguide made our safari even better...he was extreme friendly, he explained and answered everything just perfectly.

The best safari experience from Double G safaris
We had 2 really amazing days with doublegsafaris!! Our guide Max and the rest of the crew were so nice and made our stay there unforgettable! We were lucky to see all of the Big 4 animals that you can see in Mikumi and even a lot more 🤩 The camp is really new and nice and so close to the entrance of the park that sometimes we could even see some animals out of the window of our cabins 😍 we can highly recommend to go there for a unique safari experience!

Max for President
Reliable, safe, incredible and very interesting safari @Mikumi Nationalpark. Less tourists but more animals, so it’s worth the money if you compare to Hotspot areas like Serengeti. We appreciated the tour together with Max from Double G Safaris very much and can recommend it at all!

Amazing tour
My wife and I were really happy to do another tour with Max. He organized a transfer from Ifakara to Mikumi and we did a safari there which was really amazing. He also organized the transfer to Dar es Salaam from where we went on with our journey.
The time in Mikumi was amazing and we saw a lot of animals and Max was eager to show and explain a lot to us.

Magic Safaris
I did 2 magnificent Safaris in 2 different parks with Max, Mikumi for the day and 3 days in Ruaha Park. Max is passionate about safaris and all the animals that can be encountered there, a lot of knowledge and explanations about them. He never tires of admiring them and knows very well where to find them. And the magic of the show at the end of the evening, contemplating the stars to the sound of very close nocturnal animals. A pure happiness.
I highly recommend Max, always listening to make us happy. In addition, he is a very good driver in parks and especially on roads overloaded with trucks and buses, especially during transfers, which is not negligible.
His vehicles are equipped with very good tires compared to other agencies, he takes good care of them.

2 safaris: Ruaha (August), Mikumi (September); Reliable, great knowhow of - and respest for nature
My wife, our 2 kids (1y and 4y old) and I went on a 2-days safari with Max in Ruaha national park (August 2022) and a 1-day safari with my little family and my parents in Mikumi national park (September 2022)
Max has good communication skills so the arrangement and prepartion of both trips went very smooth, on top of that he was punctual and reliable.
Max was very kind and shares his knowledge about the parks and the animals with pleasure.
Our oldest son is quite talkative and active but that didn't seem to bother Max, on the contrary, he put our son on the front seat and gave him twice an amazing safari experience.
Best proof that we like(d) the Double G Safaris experience is propably that we booked a second time (Mikumi September) and we will book a 3rd time in the nearby future as well.
Tip; Max and his crew have several cars, I think you're free to request/discuss which kind of car you prefer the most (closed or open ..)

A great safari with a very nice guide
Max is a great guide, very caring. Thanks to him, we saw lots of animals in Mikumi Park: lions, elephants, hippopotamuses, giraffes, crocodiles, zebras,... We stayed 2 nights in the park, it's a very nice experience. One of his main qualities besides being very helpful and his punctuality. We highly recommend it.

Excellent from beginning to end

I did the 2 days safari in Mikumi.
Really good safari, we really appreciate it. We saw a lot of nice animals and the spotter and driver were really good and nice.
Nice accomodation with nice breakfast and nice car during the Safari.
Transfert to Dar es Salam without any problem and also really nice driver.

Our guides were Silas and Frank, they were excellent guides!
We were picked up from Silus and Frank at the airport at Dar Es Salam and drove to Seleous where we did a 2 day Safari tour. They were very polite and helpful. We saw a lot of animals up close and they explained us everything about them. We learned so much about the wildlife and culture. They also always had lunches packed for us which was great. We also did a walking safari and a boat safari with them which was also very nice. After Sileous we drove to Mikumi National Park which was also a great experience. We would always recommend doing safari with them!
