Excellent Company!
It was the best choice that we could have for holiday.
Safari is the best experience that we ever had, and it was perfect only thanks to our tourist guides: Nomad Explorer Tours. From the beginning, making the reservation, we had great communication, they answered all our questions. They are very reliable and professional. They provided us with transport and the hotel before and after safari.
Our driver and guide: Edith was great and knew answer to every question.
Also, our cook: Action was the best that happened to us. Meals were simple but always delicious, and we didn't have any stomach problems.
And the most important: safari was wonderful, we saw so many animals, we managed to catch Big Five. And again: this happened only because of experience and skill of our guide.
We can highly recommend this tour and this company to everyone.
It's worth every penny.

Trip of a lifetime!
"Me, my sister and my mum went on a 5 day camping safari with Nomad Explorer tours. The night before, at the gateway lodge, Daudi came to visit us to ensure everything was sorted and at the end, Ali and his brother (our final driver) came to see us to ensure we were happy with everything which was very courteous. During the trip, we had Mandela who was terrific! He was a 10/10 guide. His knowledge is outstanding, a safe driver, and very friendly and genuine. Our cook was Tito and the food was absolutely amazing. He takes a lot of pride in his work, as they all do, and the we all really enjoyed the continental style food. He catered well for 5/6 vegetarians in the group. We had things like pizza, rice, vegetables, salad, potatoes, pancakes, grilled meats were available, spaghetti, and much more. At Twiga lodge, our first and second nights stay, there was a pool which was nice to cool down after a long day as well as a mini supermarket/shop just outside which was good for snacks during the safari tours! At Simba campsite A, there was lots of zebras and buffalo surrounding the site. At the other campsite, in the Serengeti, we had hyenas round us at night too! (In the bushes, but we could hear them). The tents were comfortable, just as you would expect for a tent and a roll mat with a sleeping bag and pillow. Lots of toilet breaks too which was great. Mandela was great at finding us all of the Big 5 and we had the best time. I would absolutely recommend Nomad Explorer Tours. AMAZING."

Astonishing Experience with Nomad Explorer!
My wife and I decided to go to Tanzania after almost 2 years of no travel due to COVID. I had never been on a safari (or even to Africa) before, but my wife had gone on 3 shorter safaris so I was excited for us to do this together. I did a lot of research and found Nomad Explorer to be a top contender. I am Nomad Explorer glad I went with them and while the 5 day, 4 night tour seemed like it might be a lot- each day brought us something new, exciting, and breathtaking.
1) Our Guide- Our guide, Mr. Wilson, was hands down one of the best tour operators I've ever had the pleasure of working with and was definitively a key reason our experience was as amazing as it was. He was knowledgable to no end (wildlife yes of course, but also politics, history, economy, etc). His ability to spot wildlife from near and far then put is in a position to best view it time after time was truly one of the factors that made our trip spectacular. He was beyond patient, we were never an inconvenience to him and he knew how to cater to our needs, wishes, and preferences. Lastly, his laugh, positive spirit, endless energy, and genuinely warm heart could be felt by all we encountered. His Landcruiser was clean, well stocked, and comfortable.
2) The food- Your food at the hotel will of course be reflective of the options you pick, but the lunch served with Nomad Explorer was beyond anything I would have expected for a "picnic lunch". We ate at similar sights as other tour groups and you could see everyone jealous of our 4 course hot meal, served with wine and coffee, on real plates.
3) Overall service- Nomad Explorer was extremely communicative, answered my numerous questions prior to booking, and continued communications up til the time of pick up.
You may see (mostly) the same animals and landscape regardless of the tour operator you go with, but I genuinely think our experience was better than others because we booked with Nomad Explorer. The 5 day, 4 night tour is just enough to spend time in the Serengeti while also seeing another park (we saw Lake Manyara because of the time of year) and the Ngorongoro Crater. We saw 40-50 different species of animals and birds EACH DAY (total of nearly 100 unique species) and literally saw thousands of animal.
It's been 3 months and I still can't stop raving about this to friends and family. Do yourself a favor and book a safari with Nomad Explorer! Knowledgeable. Kind. Accommodating.
True to their word, they promised a fantastic safari and delivered! Tarangire and Ngorongoro were exquisite. The guide knew exactly where to find the animals, and allowed me to set the pace of the trip. 5/5 stars

Insightful and engaging cultural experience.
Work for a tour company in South Africa. Was visiting the country for 10 days. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip and comes highly recommended. Well informed guides and learnt so much in the time spent with them.

Great Morongo Cultural Tour
The cultural tour we took was excellent. We were driven from place to place, and saw in one day the waterfall, coffee plantation, gates of kilimanjaro and the Chagga caves. Lunch was also lovely!
