Lovely 2-Day Safari to Saadani National Park
5/5

We had a great 2-day Safari with Obag African Safaris to Saadani National Park in Tanzania. We booked last minute (the day before the Safari). It was really easy to communicate as we got a WhatsApp half an hour after asking for a quote. The next morning at 5:30 we got picked up at our hotel in Dar es Salaam with a Toyota Land Cruiser. On our way to the Park we were provided with breakfast. At the Park we checked into a lovely bungalow right by the Indian Ocean. The first day we went on to Game drives through the park. Seeing many different types of Antilopes, Baboons, Warthogs, and even Giraffes. We were also provided lunch and dinner which was easy but very delicious. Before dinner we were able to take a swim in the ocean while the sun was setting down. It was beautiful. The next morning we got picked up at 6:30 before breakfast to go on another game drive. We saw many animals again, even Zebras. Our guides always explained a lot about the animals and their typical behavior. We learned a lot and had a great time. After a delicious breakfast we had to check out and drove back to Dar es Salaam. Again our guides would drive us directly to our accommodation making the whole trip very easy.
The guides try to make their Safaris as affordable as possible while getting the most out of it. Most important to them is that the guests are happy with their experience and feel comfortable over the whole trip. We really enjoyed the warm atmosphere provided by the guides and would very much recommend going on a Safari with them.
Asante sana for everything.

Mikumi safari
5/5

To get to Mikumi takes whole day from Dar Es by car. So first day we drove to Mikumi and second day we had day-trip in the park. Our guide Obeg was well organised and everything went as planned. Also it is important to understand that you are in Africa and change of plans, time etc is normal - Hakuna Matata. We saw lot of animals and seeing them all close in their natural environment is definitely an experience. Obeg organized our whole journey - by picking us from Dar Es AirPort and taking back to Dar Es - that made our whole trip rather smooth and hassle free.

The tour was great with a very friendly guide and driver, the accommodation was outstanding
5/5

The communication was great, always replied to our questions. The driver was good and even helped us spot animals on the safari while driving, the guide was easy going and replied to any of our questions.

The accommodation should be displayed as premium, we did no expect to arrive to: a toilet inside the room, bottle of water to brush your teeth, soap and clean towels provided, amazing food and cheff, a lounge to chill and take beers/drinks. Pictures of the accommodation and food should be displayed as it was way more than we expected given the surroundings

Amazing experience!
5/5

Safari tour was great, we have really enjoyed it! Accommodation and food provided have exceeded the expectations, Mloka lodge was a hidden gem in the nature. Staff was friendly and always around, willing to help. Rooms were big, clean and very comfortable. Communication was smooth, everything can be agreed on and arranged, depending on the preferences. Game viewing lasted for about 10 hours, we have seen plenty of animals. The driver is an expert, which is important considering the roads. Highly recommended tour with a great service!

Selous NP January 2020
5/5

We visited Selous NP in January 2020. We stayed at Mloka Lodge a new opening lodge close to Selous and Mloka Village.
It was an amazing experience of the original Africa.
The park was unforgettable we saw all the animals of Africa in their natural habitat.
Also the lodge is new and the staff are very friendly everything clean and good food.
We also visited Mloka Village with the autentic style life of an African Village.
Thanks again Obag.
We will be back soon.

Obag African Safaris were absolutely perfect hosts - considerate, helpful, knowledgeable & attentive
5/5

Communication ahead of arrival was fantastic - and this was put to the test as I needed to make some last minute adjustments to arrangements. No issues with language barriers and actually the team were kind enough to help me in my efforts to learn some Swahili. On arrival - we were greeted immediately and looked after from the first minute to the last. We were welcomed by the team, looked after and made comfortable following our transfer from the airport and put completely at ease - they accommodated every request we had regarding itinerary, diet and accommodation, nothing was too much trouble. We'd had some challenges on the earlier part of our holiday prior to arrival which meant that I was travelling alone with my son unexpectedly and the guys looked after both me and my son superbly. (I'd had a rather taxing time and had even toyed with abandoning the remainder of our African adventure and heading home - but they looked after me so well and I realised very quickly after arriving that we were in safe hands, with caring people who would ensure we made the most of our incredible surroundings and not allow any challenges to mar the experience.)

The tours we went on were great - we saw so much and the guides had such a wealth of knowledge on the wildlife surrounding us. They were relaxed and flexible where possible, say we wanted to spend more time in certain areas. They showed us life outside of camp too and we visited the local area's bars - they accompanied me so I could experience this and meet the local people without being concerned with no knowledge of the area or language, or as a female alone. The safari tour we had was perfect - we saw several of the big five and so much more... We even visited a hot spring in the park during one of our tours, which was absolutely glorious breaking up the time in the Jeep and so fantastically refreshing!

I can't recommend Obag African Safaris highly enough and I will certainly be returning for more... Great value, great service and very professional in terms of their knowledge and always remaining cognisant of our safety. It was a fantastic experience that we will never forget!
