Unforgettable experience, incredible service
I HIGHLY recommend Ecovic Tours. They were the least expensive trekking company I could find for my own personal gorilla trek in Uganda (including permits) - without compromising on service at all. From the start, the Ecovic Tours staff was extremely responsive to all of my messages. My guide, Richard, showed up promptly and on-time and was great - very easy to talk to and friendly, but also didn’t mind giving me space to just zone out and listen to music. I was traveling solo and safety was a priority for me; I always felt safe with Richard and comfortable being by myself!
The hotels that Ecovic Tours put me up in were wonderful, with excellent food and services - the lodges were so cute and even gave me robes and slippers. I cannot speak more highly of them! Ecovic Tours was so easy to work with from start-to-finish. Contact them at +256 783089658 on WhatsApp

Professional, Knowledgeable and courteous
Ecovic Tours and Travel Uganda is a top choice for safari tours in Uganda. The manager Vincent warmly welcomed us to the country as soon as our flight landed in Uganda. Then our guide Derrick took us on a safari journey that's once in a lifetime experience. We are very satisfied with the way they handled our safari tour. We would highly recommend Ecovic Tours and Travel Uganda to anyone seeking a memorable safari tour in Uganda!

Exceptional
From booking to drop off the entire package was amazing. Gerald was a kind soul and a wealth of information. It was a tour right from the pick up in Entebbe. Gerald sharing knowledge of the lands and people. We made stops along the way, and stops on the way back and for cultural activities. Truly was amazing and the gorilla trekking was outstanding! I can’t say enough good things about the tour and hotels and just the overall experience. Thank you Vincent, Gerald and Ecovic Tours for the Organization!

Excellent service from an amazing company, with incredible communication from the outset
Our safari was customised, by Ecovic Tours & Travel Uganda, to suit our requirement of both Gorilla Trekking and Chimpanzee tracking. After arriving very late due to airline problems (nothing to do with Ecovic Tours & Travel Uganda}, Vincent and Patricia went well out of their way to ensure that we had a very good holiday, missing nothing out of our itinerary.
They organised a very nice hotel for us at a reasonable cost when we were a little stranded in the wrong place. Justine our driver/guide was excellent, he was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. We had an amazing holiday after a disastrous start, thanks to Ecovic Tours & Travel Uganda.
We were never left wondering at anytime as Justine kept us well informed and when possible gave us choices.
Gorilla Trekking was incredible and although I am not the fittest person, but with help from porters i was able to make it to see the Gorillas and Chimpanzees.
I would not hesitate to use this company again and I highly recommend it to everyone who would like to visit Uganda.

What a nice surprise
We (Father with two teenagers) headed of to a nine day private Safari in Uganda to see the Gorillas. And we did not get disappointed, we spent an hour with them, an amazing experience.
However, we where surprised and charmed by the overall Safari experience we had. Wildlife in abundance (organised between the different parcs) and close up - a lot on foot. So Uganda is not only a Gorilla and Chimpanzee destination, but big 5 country also. Lots of elephants, hippos (grazing), buffalo, giraffes, white rhinos (in a sanctuary but not to be missed), lions, leopards, gorillas, chimpanzees, etc.
The lodges were good and authentic (Mweya your Out of Africa lodge, Paraa nicely on the Nile River bank, Kibale Forest Camp a mid-range absolute fair value, Gorilla Valley Lodge and luxury Arcadia Lodge), food well prepared and people very kind and accommodating.
Our trip was organised by Ecovic Tours. Justine was our local guide and driver. Excellent Safari vehicle, very knowledgeable guide. The organisation was spot on and I can highly recommend the tour operator.
Due to the cost of the gorilla and chimpanzee permits Uganda is not a cheap safari destination, but absolutely worth while.

Friendly, organized and very well informed
Ecovic Tours is extremely professional to deal with who put on a perfect safari for us. Their choice of accommodations, range of activities, quality of vehicle (able to access areas others can't) and above all, choice of a guide who always went above and beyond to ensure we had the best trip possible, with a level of knowledge, passion and experience that meant we always seemed to be the 1st vehicle to spot and get close to more challenging to find animals, including multiple leopards, tree lions, and being up close to a Lioness making a kill and Lion escaping a buffalo attack.. Really couldn't ask for more. We shall contact Ecovic Tours again.

Best Safari Adventure
We couldn't have chosen a better company to organize our Ugandans trip with. From the begining, Ecovic Tours and Travel staff was very attentive and allowed us to organize our trip according to our preferences and budget. Everything was incredible, from the accommodations, to the itinerary, to the transportation. And of course, we can´t not mention our amazing guide, Brian. Extremely careful, attentive, patient and always worried that everything with our trip was allright. We are beyond thankful for the opportunity of knowing Uganda and its people. We were amazed by the country and the kindness of Ugandans and we hope that this was the first of many visits.

Awesome from Start to Finish
**Review for Ecovic Safari Tours and Guide Frank**
We had an unforgettable experience with Ecovic Safari Tours during our recent trip to Uganda. From the moment we started booking, Vincent made the process smooth and straightforward, ensuring all our preferences were accommodated. Once on the tour, our guide Frank truly went above and beyond to make our safari special. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and always made sure we had the best possible experiences.
We saw a remarkable variety of wildlife, including lions up close, hippos, elephants, giraffes, and rhinos – it was breathtaking! The accommodation, which we had chosen as mid-range, far exceeded our expectations. It was of the highest standard, with exceptional service, and the meals were consistently delicious throughout the trip.
We highly recommend Ecovic Safari Tours for anyone planning a Ugandan adventure. Frank and the entire team made this a trip of a lifetime!

Amazing Experience, I recommend it to everyone
Everything was perfectly organized, from the choices of accommodation where we stayed to the safari van we used; we had support at all times.
In particular, I want to thank the Wildlife and Safaris Coordinator, Conservationist Vincent, a generous, sensitive, and very attentive man for arranging our safari in such a short time. Thank you for making such a difference in our trip.
We shall definitely recommend you and Ecovic Tours to everyone who would love to visit Uganda, the pearl of Africa.

A great safari to see the Mountain Gorillas
We booked a 12-day, 11-night Uganda Wildlife and Wildlife Safari with Ecovic Tours and Travel Uganda, and it exceeded our expectations! The highlight was, of course, encountering the gorillas in Bwindi, but every part of the journey was memorable. We loved seeing the adorable golden monkeys and were captivated by the stunning beauty of Lake Bunyonyi.
Our guide, Richard, was exceptional. He was always punctual, kept us informed about the daily schedule, and had an impressive knowledge of everything we asked. Plus, he is incredibly friendly and hilarious. The van we traveled in was clean and comfortable, and the itinerary was well-balanced, with varied activities and accommodations that never felt overwhelming.
Overall, this was an unforgettable experience for my first time in Africa, and we highly recommend Ecovic Tours and Travel Uganda. Thank you so much!
