Easy-going, responsible and friendly
Three of us browsed safari trips in April. Silas responded to our requests proactively and showed flexibility in adjusting the plan, especially after the flood in Kenya in May. We feel assured before we set off the journey.
During the journey, our guide George showed good knowledge about the animals and the geography of the places we go. He is organized and prompt every day. It was very pleasant to chat with him on anything on the road.
We have been to Masai Mara, lake Naivasha and Amboselli in a 5 nights 6days trip. It may be our luck, or George’s professionalism and communication skills, we have seen almost all the animals we wished to see before the trip, and beyond.
The only pities are: 1) we didn’t see rhinos, herd of spotted hyena; 2) we were late for the planned trekking in Naivasha though we could have got there earlier if the guide check the closing time beforehand and we left our lodge earlier.
All in all we had good time and felt that we were taken good care of. The price we paid was good for its value.

Wonderful experience, very well planned, exceptional guide
Great Safari in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli. John, our guide, was exceptionally committed to making our safari unforgettable. He knows the parks, animals and their customs very well which allowed for spotting all interesting animals in the parks visited. He is also a great and wise person. He taught us a lot about Kenya and made the safari even more interesting. John is also a skillful safari driver which cannot be underestimated when spending hours driving on bumpy roads.
The camps and lodges selection met our expectations and the food was good. My wife and my kids rated the overall experience as one of the best holidays in their lives. I feel the same.

It was not nice trip at all
The guides guy wasted time as much he could. He didn't pay attention to our question and
we didn't get a chance to find the male lion at the same day another car got this chance. We saw some animals from far destination coz of the bad coordinating with the others. He didn't make any effort to give us a nice tour . Finally he requested to get tip for the good job!!!

We, as a company, deploy our experienced and competent guides to do the safari, and we do feel and understand your disappointment to specifically not spotting a male lion.Just to clarify on a safari as a company this couldn't be deliberate to deny you this opportunity as we are not in control of the animals.

Exceptional service! Polite, knowledgeable, funny and skilled. They made the experience!
The tour was exceptional. I was able to see lions, giraffe, buffalo, ostrich, crocodile, rhinos (white and black), monkeys, hippos, impalas, congoni, eland, and a serval. I didn’t even know some of those existed until today!! This was down to the amazing and skilled driver and guide. All activities ran right in time and were thoughtfully planned. The overall trip was well worth the money!

Perfect group safari for first time travellers
We travelled as a group of 5 friends and went on a 3 day safari with Safari Update Travels to Amboseli. This trip was great. Everything was arranged to perfection. Our guide Steve was amazing. Steve was a great guide and helped us with loading our luggage and spotted us when we were low on cash. Everything including the food and lodging was excellent and reasonably priced. I was actually surprised with how well organized Safari Updates were. Always remember to carry enough cash so as to avoid any credit card fees. We ended paying up $30 extra to use credit card as I was not carrying enough cash. The entire safari was perfect!

Safari Updates is the best tour company
We contacted safari update via email to get a quote for three days to the Mara. We received a prompt response, Linsel really helped us with the planning. Victor was our guide and he did a great job. Everything was amazing. He knew all the spots to find the animals and made sure we had fun on the trip. Safari Updates are very organized. My family enjoyed the safari.

Great Service During My Safari in Kenya
Relying on the insightful reviews I found online, I made my safari reservation with Safari Update Travels. Sam was a fortunate tour guide for me. Sam did what many consider to be impossible—he helped us identify the majority of the Big 5, which was a huge achievement. At one point, as we were almost ready to leave the park, Sam turned around and started racing us to see the rhino in time. He informed us that seeing a rhino is not common, therefore he didn't want us to miss the opportunity. We were glad to spot the rhino thanks to Sam.
Our trip included teenagers, which is more significant. Sam was incredibly helpful, kind, and patient. My children would never have been able to get in and out of that safari truck. My kids are usually all over the place and it's hard to take charge of them. Sam handled them in the best way possible. This is crucial if you have children and require a guide with more patience, or if you have someone who needs extra help. I fully recommend Sam and Safari Update Travels to all my friends and family.

3 incredible days in Masai Mara
Steve from Safari Update Travels took us on three incredible days of safari in Masai Mara.
My sister and I were traveling to Kenya on safari, so naturally, we were seeking for a trustworthy guide. Steve, our driver and guide, was outstanding. He was kind, patiently answered all of our somewhat odd questions, and drove extremely carefully on Kenya's jam-packed roads. However, I would especially want to draw attention to the fact that he made an effort to locate the finest viewing spots for us during the safari, kept in contact with other drivers, and drove us there fast. After spending two days on the safari, we saw almost every species that could be encountered. Best regards to Safari Update Travels team and thanks again, Steve.
