Amazing views of Mt. Kilimanjaro
I highly recommend this tour with Simon he’s an amazing safari guide. We started the drive very early morning since the park is quite far and we wanted to have a better chance of seeing many animals. Along the way we made a stop at a really nice souvenir shop. As we got closer to the park, we were able to clearly see Mt Kilimanjaro which was really exciting. The drive throughout the park was unbelievable. I saw a lot of animals just to mention; elephants and giraffes which are my two favorite animals. After the safari we stopped at the Ol Tukai Lodge campsite for lunch. The restaurant and camp was absolutely beautiful. We were given a tour of the rooms by one of the hosts, they are top notch with beautiful ambience. Before driving back to Nairobi we stopped at the Masai Mara village. I had the chance to interact with the community and experience their culture and day to day activities. Overally I rank this tour a solid 10/10. I don’t think it could have gotten any better. Safari Update Travels are the best!

Amazing Amboseli Day Trip Adventure
We had an excellent 5 star experience on our day trip to Amboseli National Park. Our tour guide David was simply remarkable. David was punctual, he picked us up early and drove responsibly the entire 3 hour drive from my pick up location to the park. The vehicle was clean and David came well-equipped for the day with water and a pair of binoculars. David suggested an earlier start and I’m glad that we made the sacrifice because we got the opportunity to see a lot of animals including; cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, herds of wildebeests, buffalos, hippos, hyenas, other antelopes, pink flamingos, and we even visited a Masai village. Throughout the trip David shared interesting facts about Kenya, the animals and interesting sites. The views in Amboseli National Park were absolutely stunning from the volcanic hill and it was worth the 10 minutes walk. To top off the trip, we had a luxurious meal at the Kibo Safari Lodge before heading to the Masai village and then back to Nairobi. We felt safe traveling as a couple with David, a professional and ethical tour guide. I highly recommend traveling with Safari Update Travels because of their professionalism.

Amazing
The trip to Masai Mara was really good. The agency kept in contact to confirm all was going well or to check whether there was anything me and my friends needed. It was a great experience! The agency replies very fast, is really well organized, always on time and gives you options according to your budget. The driver was very nice and attentive, we got a chance to see a lot of wild animals!

Overpriced dishonesty, don't go with them!
Unfortunately, can't recommend this company. Their offer and price doesn't reflect the actual services and the moment you have a complaint they stop responding. We booked a group mid-range safari but everyone else in the group booked a budget one, so we paid double (or triple?) and got the same service but accommodation. The jeep was far from luxury and they promised a goup of 6 ppl but ended up cramming 8 people in the small jeep most of the time. We also paid for 2 entries to Masai Mara but were taken once, while everyone else in our group went on the extra game drive and we were not told about this (!!!). The only positives were the accommodation and the driver - he was great and we managed to see plenty of animals.

Posted on Mar 6, 2023Hi Agatha,
Thank you for your taking your time to write us feed back on your safari experience.
We wish to respond again to your review just like we had responded through our agent (Xavier), who has been in communication with you directly through WhatsApp before and after your safari.
We note that your booking was done directly through our agent (Xavier ) with the help of your friend. He tailored the itinerary as per your recommendations, and you both agreed on the price.
We are grateful you enjoyed the accommodation. Being a group joining safari the rates for each guests varies according to which Camp/lodge category they stay at ..PRICE varies as some book Luxury,Mid range or budget Camps/Lodges but still share same Jeep during game drives.
For joining safaris a jeep has a Maximum of 8 seats where if low bookings are experienced we serve 6 pax per car while on good day 8pax travel in one jeep. We have never had a small or big jeep as the size of all we provide are the same.
Also, we note that you were Notified of your itinerary before you booked and briefed in the morning of your safari.
It is also important to note that we received positive feedback from our clients who did the same safari with your group.
We once again regretfully apologise for the inconvenience experienced on your safari.
We acknowledge this as a positive criticism and We promise to do better and Improve on our services.

Amazing Experience with Safari Update Travels
We had an amazing safari to Amboseli National Park with Safari Update Travels which really surpassed our expectations. Amos made sure we saw a wide variety of wildlife and took his time in making sure he executed his duties. My family really wanted to see elephants up close and Amos was able to track and take us to a herd of elephants that crossed over right in front of our cruiser. Amos is an expert in his field extremely knowledgeable. He shared a lot of facts about the wildlife, landscape & surrounding areas during the trip. He made sure my family and I had an amazing time, he was a pleasure to talk to, kept us entertained throughout the whole trip and we felt safe through the entire trip. Thank you Amos and Safari Update Travels.

Professional and very kind to support our travel
We travel one big family from Bulgaria 8 adults and 4 kids ( 6,7,9,10 years) and I was lucky to get in contact with Silas from Safari Updates Travel.
Silas offered us a great package to enjoy Maasai Mara ( travelling by local flights with 748), staying at Mara Serena lodge and then return flight to Malindi beaches.
Everything was perfect for us. All the transfers on time, upon arrival there were a contract local person welcoming us.
Once I met Silas at the beginning, all my worries gone. Nice and charming man, ready to support us at every step during our two weeks experience in Kenya

Incredible Experience!
I booked my safari with Safari Update Travels because of their authenticity. Linsel was very prompt in his communication and helped us plan the entire safari. I had an amazing experience with my family exploring the Mara where we were fortunate enough to see hundreds of wildebeests migrating across the Mara River which was the highlight of the safari. We also saw most of the big five animals which included lions, buffaloes, herd of elephants and a leopard. We stayed at Ashnil Camp, the staff there were very kind and caring. They always made sure we were comfortable. They also had amazing meals and the camps were very clean. Our guide Simon was very professional and knowledgeable, he made sure we spotted most of the animals. Unfortunately we did not see the rhinoceros even after our guide drove for several hours to most of the places where this rare animal is found. We visited a Masai village towards the end of our safari, the experience was amazing. I would recommend beginning the tour in the early morning to enjoy the game drive and see most of the animals. Thank you Safari Update Travels for the incredible experience.

Silas was very prompt in his communication throughout the booking and also during the trip itself.
Silas was very prompt in his communication during booking and throughout the trip itself. We were picked up and dropped off to the hotel after the trip with no issues whatsoever. Our tour guide was Mr James and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. We got to see all the Big Five except the Rhino in ONE DAY. I would recommend this to anyone at least once in their lifetime.

Perfect safari with best rates
It was our first time visiting Africa and Kenya to be specific. We opted for Safari Update Travels because of the great reviews and experience in the tourism industry. We communicated via email with Silas who helped us come up with the perfect itinerary for our 5 day safari. I was very confident from our conversation that he'll deliver the perfect safari and it did not come as a surprise when he did. When we arrived at the airport Silas was on time and present to pick us up. We immediately embarked on our safari to the Mara. Upon arriving we were taken to Sopa Lodge where we would spend our night. George our guide was the best thing we could ask for. We went for the afternoon game drive where we spotted several animals including a pride of lions and zebras. We went back to our hotel to have dinner. The food there was amazing prepared by the best chefs. The staff at the hotel were also very warm and kind making sure we were having a good time. During the safari George explained everything to us in details and located the animals before anyone else, he is an expert in knowing where to look. He has been a guide for the past two decades and is well known around the park. The cruiser we used was perfect, very comfortable and spacious. The camp we stayed in was incredible. It is in a serene environment surrounded by plenty of nature. The beds are clean and comfortable, with utmost level of hygiene. In short, we had the best safari thanks to Safari Update Travels with the best rates. The very best in the game.
