Unforgettable 7-Day Safari with Samora in Tanzania
Our 7-day safari in Tanzania was an absolute dream! From start to finish, all our wishes were taken into account, making this trip truly special.
The accommodations were clean, cozy, and offered breathtaking views. Staying in tents allowed us to experience an extraordinary time in the heart of nature, surrounded by wildlife. The lodges, on the other hand, were more luxurious, yet they still maintained the authentic safari feel, which we greatly appreciated.
Our guide, Reggie, was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He shared so much insightful information with us, but more importantly, he quickly felt like a friend. He always made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of, which added to the overall experience.
Without a doubt, we would recommend Samora to our friends anytime. This safari was an adventure of a lifetime, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Bucket-list wonderful safari with amazing local company and great guide Regi!
Where to even start with this wonderful company? Very glad my husband and I picked them for a bucket-list, 30th birthday safari!
From the get-go, Iddy was fantastic with crafting a great itinerary and replying promptly to all of our emails - he really made sure that the trip was bespoke and personalised to what we'd like, including accommodation choices and adjusting the itinerary to suit our flights. Out of many tour operators, Samora were the most competitively priced. We had already seen the great reviews online and were really excited to head out to Tanzania!
We were picked up at the airport by our guide, Regi, who gave us a quick intro about the basics of safari, Tanzania overall and a recap of the itinerary - and then we went straight out to see animals! Over the next 6 days, Regi proved himself as an incredibly talented guide - he was able to see animals from afar (even without binoculars!), point them out to us and then manoeuvre the vehicle to allow us the best view and angle to take photos. Moreover, he is extremely knowledgable about a huge variety of animals (birds, mammals, you name it, he knew facts about them) and he happily answered all our questions. In fact, he gave us an incredible insight into the lifestyle in Tanzania, so we really felt immersed in the culture - for us, this hugely elevated our trip. Throughout the safari, Regi was funny, easy to get along with and calm under pressure if ever we got stuck in some rain. He made sure we were comfortable and happy with how each day went. We covered Tarangire, Serengeti, Ndutu, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara, and saw the Big 5 many times with multiple close-up big cat sightings, thanks to Regi's talent.
Cannot recommend Samora enough - they are a local company and value a customer's trust and satisfaction above all. When our hot air balloon experience was cancelled due to rain, Iddy was kind enough to give us a refund himself instead of having to wait 4+ weeks to get the money from the hot air balloon company, as he knew that that would be more hassle for us. Iddy knows what it is like to be a driver (he does safaris himself too) and he values the safety of both the customer and the driver, so you know you are in safe hands.
Extra bonuses with Samora - hot lunches every day were great when you are out on safari and get very hungry! Unlimited cold water, soft drinks and beer in the safari were great. The safari vehicle itself has got multiple (UK) plugs alongside USB-A charging ports so we could charge our cameras/phones to make sure we never missed a moment. We also got to stay at Samora River Lodge on our last night, a beautiful lodge within Arusha right next to a flowing river, making it feel like a peaceful resort. We got to meet other members of the Samora team, including Baraka, who made a fantastic three course meal and breakfast for us, as well as being a great host.
In just 6 days, we built a great friendship with Regi, sharing jokes, laughing together and learning Swahili, which enhanced our safari even more. We are still in touch now, even after the trip!
Final thoughts - if you go with Samora, you will be in great hands with tour guides who will go the extra mile to make sure that your safari experience is the best it can be! Many thanks to Regi, Iddy, Baraka and the whole Samora team - asante sana!

Thank you Tanzanian people for environmental protection and animal protection
Thanks to the Tanzanian people for their environmental protection and animal protection, I had a wonderful animal-hunting trip.
I came to Serengeti National Park. It made me feel familiar and surprised. I grew up watching animal world TV programs. These animals are familiar and strange.
Thanks to the company for giving me a wonderful animal-hunting trip

3 days of breathtaking safari tours with dreamguide Adrian
We were with our German -language guide Adrian on Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Krater and the Tarangire Park. The tours were excellently organized, there was a good selection of drinks and always a warm, delicious lunch. Adrian has an incredible eye to see the animals so that there was almost no wish left. We thank our great guide Adrian for the breathtaking safari tours. We always felt safe and in good hands. At any time with Samora safari and the dream guide Adrian.

The masters of safari
Our tour guide Henry is the super professional. He was rich in knowledge, experience, and based on his understanding of animal habits, he made our tour perfect. Thanks to his dedication, we could see the Big Five and the hunting scene despite the heavy rain. His ability to spot animals and induce animals to close positions is fantastic. He is perfect in every way as a safari guide, including knowledge, explanation, driving skills, and service. Highly recommended.
Iddy planned our tour and actively supported whenever we need. Thanks to his efforts, we could enjoy and finalize the tour without any difficulty.
I would definitely book a tour again with Henry and Iddy in another season.

Wonderful experience
Everything was perfect, communicating with Iddy was easy and fluid since the beginning, we are so happy with the hotels, the food (we really appreciate that we had good meals and not just boxes with cold sandwiches), the game drives.. We had a really good time with Regi, he was really the perfect guide and he did his best so that we have an amazing experience! He is so passionate about nature and we learned a lot with him..
So thank you for everything!
Amazing Trip with a Great Company (Locally Owned by a Safari Guide)
We inquired with multiple operators about a 2 day safari and a 3 day Meru climb (with some nights before and after at a local Arusha hotel). Out of all the responses Samora's was by far the most comprehensive and was very fairly priced. Iddy, the owner and a safari guide himself, was wonderful at communication, helped us prepare for this complicated trip, and personally picked us up at the airport in Arusha and brought us to his wonderful eco-lodge just outside the city where we stayed before, between, and after our expeditions. The accommodation was lovely (they have 3 adorable bungalows in the rainforest on a hill by the river) and the food was first class, each meal was freshly prepared for us Baraka, the chef, with local organic ingredients and taking into account any food allergies and preferences.
Our 2 day safari was amazing. We saw way more than we expected, our guide was fantastic, and our picnic lunches (prepared by Samora) were some of the best food we had in our entire 4 weeks in Tanzania. The Meru hike was expertly led, again with surprisingly amazing food, tons of support staff (porters, chef, guides, ranger, etc.). It was exhausting and I was a crybaby but that was no fault of theirs. We did make it to the summit for sunrise!
We were very impressed with Samora and cannot recommend them highly enough. You will also be hiring a locally owned company started by a safari guide and his other guide friends, so you will get warm personal treatment, and will be supporting the local Tanzanian economy more than if you booked with a giant international safari or tour company.

Excellent companion
Mr. Iddy, the tour operator was prompt and his suggestions were pretty useful to finalize the tour. Price seems to be competitive with other tour operators. Should have handled accommodation in Ndutu better.
Our tour guide Reggie was fabulous. He was punctual, well-behaved, knowledgeable, sharp eyed and accommodative. Spoke fluent English and clear communications.
We were quite lucky to sight the Big 5, Ugly 5 and various animals, especially Cheetahs, . We were able to spot Lions every single day of our tour.
Would definitely book a tour again with Mr. Iddy and Reggie. Highly recommended.
