Amazing trip through Uganda
Traveling with Laba Africa was a great experience!
We saw amazing landscapes and animals in different national parks and spent the nights in beautiful lodges. The guides were extemely nice and fun to be around.
Especially the planning of our trip was amazing. We had some special requests because I wanted to visit some friends in between our Safari tours. That was no problem and got nicely included in our plan for the trip. Whatever we requested was made possible!
I can only recommend traveling with Laba Africa. We will definitely return!

12 Amazing Days in Kampala, Murchison Falls, Bwindi Forest and Bunyonyi Lake
I spent a little less than 2 weeks in Uganda, and although I would recommend staying longer as this country has to offer, it was already enough to see so many beautiful things and have great memories. After spending a few days discovering the city of Kampala and enjoying the hospitality and good humor there, Sam and I set out for a safari in Murchison Falls National Park: really beautiful with all these wild animals and waterfalls which are, rightly, one of the highlights of the park. Sam is an excellent guide who knows a lot about his country and the animals, so his explanations made the safari even more enjoyable. The next adventure was the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a Gorilla Trekking. This experience is unique and magical, I absolutely recommend it! The price of the permit is certainly not cheap, but the experience is well worth it and the funds are used for good causes. We ended our trip with a little rest at Lake Bunyonyi which is a superb, relaxing place, with plenty of activities available!
I would not change anything in this perfect program according to the expectations I had. Sam is very professional, communicative and listens to his clients. His organization largely took into account the wishes I had, and he was good company and very good advice throughout the trip. He also always offered me different types of accommodation at different budgets, and the places I stayed were all top notch. In short, I highly recommend Laba Africa Expeditions!
A big thank you Sam for an unforgettable stay!

Unforgettable memories in Kampala, Murchison Falls and Bwindi
Sam is a very professional tourism expert who provides reliable and interesting information during the tour. Everything was well organized and he advised me with very nice and good value accommodations. He’s friendly and knows so much about his country. The Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi was just breathtaking, once in a lifetime experience! We had a great time at Murchison, saw many wild animals and the falls are beautiful. We also went to Bunyonyi Lake which is a wonderful and resting place where you can do many activities. The tour was amazing, plenty of great moments and unforgettable memories. Couldn’t recommend his services more !

A safe, adventurous and pleasant road trip across Uganda
Sam and I drove together for 1,5 weeks. We started in Kampala and went to Karamoja in Northern Uganda, stayed in Moroto and visited the tribe people and drove to the national park Kidepo and back through Murchisson Falls and ended in Kampala. This is a long off road trip and I felt so safe during the ride - Sam is an excellent driver who has experience with the rough Ugandan roads. I was doing field work one week in Moroto with the tribe people and we had a lot of fun together and I felt good having a local with me. He took me to the two national parks and the trip in total went smoothly. He listened to my needs, was very flexible and a fun person to spend a lot of time with in the car.
I give Sam my best recommendations.
Uganda is amazing. It is not just the big fantastic sites like the national parks that has something offer. Driving through the corners of Uganda is an experience. Just sitting in the car and looking out the window is an adventure. The country is small but where ever you go people have a different culture, language, food etc.. People live in such different ways from what I am used to and besides the landscape is so rough and new to me that I feel like I am on a different planet. Uganda is safe and unique it is a very good African country to visit.
My best

A childhood dream coming true: Murchison Falls National Park
It’s a shame that we only had less than two days to explore Uganda’s great wildlife. But Sam made the best out of it so that we were able to see as much as possible in such a short amount of time. We got picked up from our hotel in Arua, although it was much later than expected our driver remained friendly and made us feel very welcome. The next morning we left early for a game drive where we got to see from monkeys to elephants all animals you always wanted to see in their own surrounding. After lunch we did a water game drive, which was beyond our expectations. Crocodiles, hippos and various colourful birds were among what we’ve seen during this amazing ride. It was also great that we were always able to ask questions to our guides throughout the ride. A walking tour followed to the Murchison Falls waterfalls and the stunning views from the cliffs left us speechless. Nature can be so impressive and beautiful! On our way back to the hotel we did an evening game drive with a beautiful sunset over the savannah. Back in our hotel we sat outside and had a delicious meal with our driver. The hotel had a beautiful overall view to the Nil. The breakfast was very tasty, the staff friendly and helpful. Our tent could have been a little bigger, it only contained a bed and a small space in front, but spending our time mainly outside we didn’t mind and it was definitely an unforgettable experience sleeping so close to the nature. To our surprise it also had a swimming pool, which was just perfect in the morning. On our way back to Kampala the next day. We stopped by at a rhino sanctuary. We clearly didn’t expect to see and come so close to a whole herd of rhinos, including a baby rhino. Again the guide and our driver have done an amazing job. With Sam you are in good hands. He will make everything possible and take good care of you, so that everybody can enjoy themselves. Thanks so much for making it possible, it was an unforgettable experience for all of us and a great ending of our Ugandan tour.

We recently completed a customized tour of Uganda with a volcano hike in Rwanda
We recently completed a customized tour of Uganda with a volcano hike in Rwanda all arranged by Laba Africa . Our guide, Moses, did an amazing job of finding interesting wildlife for us to see, arranging boat trips, meals, lodging and answering all of our many questions about the wildlife, culture, geography, plants, foods etc of Uganda. Possibly the most amazing thing was to watch him navigate the roads - he was a true expert in driving up and down mountains on bumpy unimproved mud roads and through the most crowded congested roads in Kampala that I have ever experienced. I remember Thanking God that he was driving over and over!! The lodgings provided ranged from adequate to downright luxurious. One tip - take some form of noise reducers - they don't insulate any walls here so you hear everything anyone does in the bathroom clearly and the nearby villages play music or preachers over loudspeakers well into the night.

Wow, wow, wow!!! I don't even know where to start.
Wow, wow, wow!!! I don't even know where to start. This trip, with Laba Africa Expeditions, was amazing! First off, the company itself: When booking these types of tours from the US, most will ask that you wire transfer the money or pay the credit card service fee. I got super nervous on this part. After spending 5 days with this company- I now can safely tell people, don't worry! They are a very reputable company. Level of service: Our driver, Moses, was great! He picked us up right from the airport, had a sign with our name, and took care of us the entire trip. He was educated, spoke English well, was funny and was there to help us with whatever we needed. Vehicle: We had an older van type of car but we ended up loving it! The back seat was spacious and I even was able to jump in the third row seat and lay down for a bit if I wanted to. The top lifted off for us to see all of the great animals while driving. Our driver cleaned it every night for us and made sure we had fresh water each day. Animals: we went in January and we saw so many animals. We did the safari portion, the chimps and the gorillas and all were amazing. I would do the exact same trip again anytime! Tipping: Don't forget to tip about $20 (more if you want) per day per person. We gave him the tip at the very end and gave him US dollars. We made sure before leaving the US the bills were newer as they don't accept older bills in Uganda

Memorable trip and unique experience with Laba Africa Expeditions
I had a unique trip through stunning Uganda with Sam! He really made the experience perfect. He customized everything to exactly what I wanted and made sure I didn't have to worry about anything.
I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to not only have a great experience but also to learn so many things since his insights and knowledge about Uganda were invaluable and allowed me to have a really authentic experience, which did not only focus on impressive wildlife watching but also on people and local culture.
We had a great time together, I truly liked travelling with him! Everything went really smoothly throughout the trip and I always felt extremely safe and taken care of.
Sam is very professional, reliable and sociable as well. Furthermore he is always ready to do everything needed to make you feel comfortable and to fully enjoy the adventure.
Besides that I loved the aspect of sustainable travelling and the companies efforts such as providing reusable plasticfree water bottles and planting trees to compensate effects of climate change.
I will definitely travel with Sam and Laba Africa Expeditions again when I return to beautiful Uganda!
