A great team to turn your plans reality
5/5

As soon as I set myself to hike mount Kenya I knew I could find some difficulties accomodating my conditions (I was to move out of Embu at the same time, and I did not have the ideal equipment for the adventure), budget and desired itinerary. John from Keshi tours was very flexible and keen on my demands, even getting me a sleeping bag, pick-up in Embu, luggage kept safely, and drop-off in Nairobi. The hike itself was great; his father Mr Benson Kinaro a gentleman and knowledgeable guide, the porters and cook always in good mood and delivering a great service (Sammy's soups were a tremendous boost for morale if not a lifesaver). Their flexibility and fair costs made for a terrific time in the amazing mount Kenya. Fully recommended.

Unforgettable Experience
5/5

When we were planning to visit Masai Mara, Mr John was introduced to us by a common friend. He made our planning so easy and confortable by providing us the right choices. Air Kenya flight booking to Masai Mara and the Olare Mara Kempenski bookings were made meticulously. And we had a very comfortable stay and Safari experience

Knowledgeable and friendly guide up Mt. Kenya

Excellent experience! We are experienced hikers but alone could not have followed the snakes trails that our guide knew by heart.

Working with Keshi tours was EXCELLENT! They answered all our questions in a timely manner, helped us stay within a budget we needed, and was so patient as we made multiple changes to our reservations. We cannot wait to go Masai mara again this summer, and it is sure to be perfect because of Keshi tours and John

Great value for money
5/5

I booked my trip to Maasai Mara in May 2019 through Keshi Tours. We left Nairobi on a Friday morning and returned on Sunday late afternoon (3 days, 2 nights).

To start with, the driver who took us there was very friendly and punctual. He made everyone feel comfortable, which was really important as we had joined the trip with people from different cultures including visiting tourists and we were all meeting for the first time. He was able to interact cordially with all on board which set the tone for a weekend together.

The trip to Mara is about 6 hours and part of the road is not tarmacked. The tour van provided was new and very comfortable. We stopped halfway along the way at Narok town for buffet lunch before proceeding with the remaining part of the journey. There was also lunch on the trip back to Nairobi, all part of the package.

On arrival, we checked into our tents. We had paid the budget package which was really affordable and we were impressed by the budget camp we were booked in. The tents imitate a small house, complete with a cemented floor and an in-built bathroom.

The first game drive started shortly after our arrival at the camp at around 4 p.m. Although we had less than 2 hours in the park on the first day (all visitors must be out of the park by 6 p.m.) we were able to spot 3 of the big five. We actually spotted all the big 5 within the 3 days we were there. Obviously the team cannot promise that you will spot all the big 5 but this team did their best to make sure we witnessed all the breathtaking moments, which is partly from knowing the park very well and partly great communication with their peers which is evident from the interpersonal skills we had already witnessed from this tout operator. In fact, rather unexpectedly we were able to spot the elusive leopard!

Other than the big 5, we also were able to witness moments like a pair of cheetahs hunting a baby gazelle, lions' mating season, and a pack of hyenas fighting with a mother bufallo for her sickly calf (the hyenas won, sadly).

This trip was the most relaxing trip ever. A big part of that was because we were able to relax and trust that everything would be well taken care of, and John and his team did not disappoint. I have since had other great experiences in different places with Keshi Tours and that was only possible because of the standard set by this operator.

I finally found a reliable and customer-centred tour-operator!

It was absolutely incredible! Out of this world. Everything was arranged so well and was so smooth.
5/5

I am a backpacker and I tried to arrange the safari myself but I’m so glad I booked the Masai Mara Safari with Keshi tours. The price was the best which I found without any compromise on the quality. The guide was very keen on having us see the big five and also the great migration. He was entertaining and gave us a lot of information about the park and the animals. It was the trip of a lifetime!
