The most amazing safari experience in Kenya and Tanzania!
I travelled with my husband and our moms to Kenya and Tanzania a did an 11-day safari organized by Silver Spark Africa Safaris. We had the most amazing experience! Everything, since the initial coordination with Abongo, to the wonderful drivers/guides David and Minister, and the beautiful places that we stayed in, was perfect. I would 100% recommend travelling with Silver Spark Africa Safaris and we will go back with them, since we now want to visit the gorillas in Uganda.

Best experience with reasoning rate!
Our eleven-day experience to East Africa, Tanzania and Kenya ending up in Zanzibar with Silver Spark Africa Safaris was a dream come true. We enjoyed every bit of the safaris. Abongo ensured everything was running smoothly no delays, my assigned guide Peter, was very friendly and welcoming he also maintained the time. The morning drives were so amazing, beautiful animal sceneries in both Kenya and Tanzania. It formed the best game drive ever, in the morning in both Amboseli and Masai Mara, thanks to Peter. Abongo was always available via call or mail, he made everything easy for us by answering all our questions instantly during our trip and before our trip. I would like to recommend Silver Spark Africa and use their team and services again without hesitation going back to Kenya.

Awesome humans! Great 9 day multi-country safari
2 people (couple) from California, USA did a 9 day safari Kenya & Tanzania. Abongo was the very best helping us plan and manage every step of the way! We booked nearly a year ahead for mid-August travel. Was scary sending $ to a stranger overseas but felt confident & he answered all questions timely and crafted our dream safari! Super communicative throughout. Abongo & our guides spoke excellent English and understood us well. Everyone we met from Silver Spark spoke like 3-4 languages! Glad we got to meet Abongo in Nairobi & again at the border crossing. Very friendly & knowledgeable guy. He really helped make our border crossing quick & easy. Our safari was amazing! John (Jenga) our driver in Kenya was awesome. Toyota van was perfect & comfy. John was knowledgeable, patient, kind, helpful, patient, and funny. Very happy guy. Vehicle breakdowns on East Africa roads are common so John asked us if it was ok to rescue people a few times. You may have a private safari but expect the possibly helping others transport people or gear. The guides look out for each other cuz you never know when you’ll need help. The roads destroy ALL vehicles. In Kenya, we had a vehicle issue but luckily got fixed quickly & stayed on schedule. The roads out to and in the national parks are bad! But our driver made us feel confident. Then, Babu, our driver in Tanzania was the best!! Land cruisers only in Tanzania. It was cool to experience both types of vehicles. We were sad to leave Jenga but Babu was amazing as well! Felt sad to leave our friends at the end.
If you come up with a dream itinerary, ask Abongo for an ETA between places because the journey btwn parks is long and roads are sketchy & rough. Wish I had known to ask this info. I assumed roads would be bad but way underestimated. The time btwn parks is good for editing photos and napping, however :) It would be good to advise guests of approximate travel times. We chose mid-range accommodations with a mix of camp and lodges. All the places we stayed at were pleasant, some were excellent! We learned that Abongo w/Silver Spark does all the comms and planning in Kenya and they partner with Nyangulo Safaris in Tanzania where Soombe does all the planning. We met Soombe upon arrival & departure. Together, Abongo and Soombe make a great team and worked things out for us to have an amazing 9 days!! Thank you both. Things to know for ANY safari if this is your first: there is no “luxury” driving safari bc these roads are rough & destroy ALL cars ALL safari companies. We had car issues in both countries and saw countless cars broke down on the side of the road. You’ll need to be patient at park entries & in case of vehicle issues. Now we understand why safaris aren’t cheap. Vehicle maintenance in East Africa is a beast! The roads are dusty & bumpy! Don’t expect cold beverages on 9-12 hour road trips but you’ll get used to warm drinking water & Coca Cola. Also, if you end your trip with Zanzibar, be sure to arrive at the airport 2 hours before. We almost missed our flight, but again, Soombe helped with negotiating & begging on our behalf. Tip your guides well; they work HARD and make the journey great. We tipped more than the minimum and were generous to wait staff at lodges too. Silver Spark & Nyangulo are the best!!! We cannot say enough good things about these guys. Thank you, team!!! Great experience.
We had amazing trip in Maasai Mara. Our entire trip was organized by Silver Spark Company. I love the company rates and the professionalism within their staff. Abongo is such an understanding guy , he saved us from much expense but provided one of the best trip ever. We appreciate the service you offer us during the trip. We can say that your services were above our imagination. Kepha was good planner and could offer us a package that was friendly and enjoyable. The van was in good condition and the driver was having good driving skill and was knowledgeable of the park. We will love to do another safari with you. Thank you for the amazing trip with my entire family.

Unforgettable Kenya & Tanzania safari with reliable tour operator
I had an amazing experience with Silver Spark Africa Safaris on a two-week Kenya & Tanzania safari, the entire trip was extremely seamless and without any major issues - Abongo made all of the park and hotel arrangements and my tour guides David and Waziri were extremely knowledgeable about the local wildlife and made my entire trip quite enjoyable.
My two week tour hit the major destinations of Maasai Mara, Amboseli and Serengeti while also hitting some of the other surprisingly amazing smaller destinations like Ngorongoro and Lake Nakuru. Trip ended with a three night stay in Zanzibar to unwind after a busy yet fruitful safari. I didn’t know where to begin when I started out so I’m glad I had Abongo to plan and arrange everything for me - do not expect five stars from your hotels but they were all in the least secure, sufficiently comfortable and with a good selection and quality of food.
If you don’t have two weeks I think you could still get a complete safari experience by focusing in on any of the big three destinations mentioned, but my personal recommendation would be to go with either Maasai Mara or Serengeti for the richest experience.

Amazing experience and great tour operator
We had a 15 night trip in Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar. Despite quite late organisation our part Abongo was great at getting everything sorted for us, keeping us up to date and answering all of our questions! We were a bit worried about transferring money through wise to pay our deposit but this worked out fine.
The whole trip was incredible, we saw more animals than we ever hoped and our guides David and Maurice we brilliant in their knowledge of the animals, and also took time to teach us about the culture and language. They were also hugely appreciated when we got unwell on the trip, checking in on how we were feeling and getting us to pharmacies to help get us better!
We were also really impressed thar Abongo and Soombe came to meet us at our border crossing and Soombe came again to Arusha to make sure our travels went smoothly. This is not something we expected but definitely really appreciated.
We would 100% recommend this trip with Silvee spark and would love to do more trips with them in the future.

Professional, efficient, knowledgeable and flexible - a great experience overall
Communication was good throughout and the 7 day tour to Samburu, Nakuru, Masai Mara and Naivasha meant we saw a lot in a short time. There was a lot of driving but our guide Peter was excellent - we felt safe in his care and he made sure we saw all the animals and sights along the way. The sightings (including all the big 5 and more) on the game drives were spectacular. The accommodation was mostly very good and value for money. There was just one place near the Masai Mara where the facilities and food could have been better but it did not detract from what was an excellent trip. Thank you Abongo and Peter. We will recommend you to family and friends.

Expectation Surpassed!!!
We had a brilliant plan to visit Kenya Mara and the great Serengeti National park in Tanzania and pass by the Kenya-Tanzania boarder to see this amazing and tallest mountain … Kilimanjaro. The world is beautiful and you just have to travel to see it all. I was dreaming for a long time about this game drive, taking my partner out there spending some great moment.
I was looking for a local travel agency which provide best itinerary for a suitable price and i found one which was beyond excellent to us!! Silver Spark Africa is a great service provider. Even more we were very surprised how the team were mindful and patient to all of my hundreds of question and remarks!!!
First visit to Kenya with my friends, had a wonderful time thanks to Silver Spark team and Kepha -our safari guides. When we were in Tanzania, we successfully conquered the Kili summit! We also spent time and did some fantasticate drive around Kilimanjaro National Park. Our guide was so helpful and very informative! Thanks a lot, to him, we didn’t miss any moment. We got more than we expected! We will never forget these fantastic tour journey! We got unforgettable memories and of course we will get back to you soon!

From Airport back to Airport.
Silver Spark Africa Safaris arrange for our tour in Kenya. The Conservancies are owned and staffed by the amazing Massai people and are exclusively for gamewatchers clients. The Land Cruisers were rugged for the terrain. At the end we were again whisked from Wilson to our hotel at Jomo Kenyata which was arranged by Silver Spark and then they picked us up at 5:30am and took us to our gate. It was flawless and the service was over the top.
Abongo and his team of enthusiastic guides are the most professional and skill tour operator I have ever encountered. Our driver Kepha could not have done more to make this Kenya- African experience any better. His knowledge and ability to spot the animals was amazing and we encountered so many of everything. The Landcruisers were comfortable and easy to take photos from. Accommodation and food was excellent. Thank you Silver Spark team , highly recommend the company!!!
