Top-Notch Safari
5/5

On a photography tour with friends, we traveled for 2 weeks in Samburu and Masai Mara. Accommodations, food, and service were terrific. More importantly, our guides were exceptional and got us to the right places at the right time for amazing photography. Quality of the guides is the single most important factor in a successful safari, and Sunworld excels at this and has new, well-designed vehicles to match.

Top Notch Safari company
5/5

This is our 2nd trip using Sunworld (Sonam and Rebecca). Their attention to detail in all aspects of our safaris has been the best we have ever experienced (my 9th safari). The Sunworld Safari properties are amongst the best in Kenya. They will individually tailor your safari and will provide suggestions to ensure you have the best and most memorable adventure. And as everyone knows, your guide is the most important aspect of any successful safari. Sunworld has the best and most experienced Maasai guides…you will be amazed! We are already planning our 3rd safari with Sunworld….highly recommended!!

Wonderful family tour in Kenya
5/5

I traveled with my family of 7 including three young boys (aged 11 to 16) to Kenya in July. It was a wonderful 10 day experience. Sunworld has been very helpful from the get go. I worked with Sonal to develop the program and made numerous changes and request. Sonal was very patient and helpful with prompt responses and useful recommendations, as well as following up as the traveling date approaches.

Our tour guide Felix is cool and amazing. He really knows his work. He worked for 26 years in the sector, and has a unique capability leading us to the most exciting activities during the game drives. He would anticipate the moves of the animals and position the car at the right spot for us to have the best view when things happen. We've had the opportunity to see all the Big Fives including the rare black rhinos, and the beautiful leopard. We also had the front row seat to see the cheetah mom hunting the wildebeest with her 4 young kids (who did nothing to help like my three useless boys)... Felix is the instrumental making the trip so memorable for our group. Also thanks Felix for teaching my son Swahili. My son now sounds he is really from Africa :)

Kudos to the team from Sunworld.

What I would do differently? I would definitely try to book the lodging next time within the park parameter. But hey, it is going to be costly...

TZ: very good choice compared to 3 other companies
5/5

We choosed sunworld safaris on recommendation of a friend for a long 13 days safari in north Tanzania.

We had an amazing and wonderful experience thanks to Edwin from 4x4 Adventures / Sunworld Safari. Our guide, JOSEPH MOLLEL is a very efficient, professional massai guide, super nice with a large knowledge about animals, plants, cultures and customs. It was a private vehicle safari, only the two of us and Joseph. He managed very well to adapt to our habits, our aims and wishes. Thanks Joseph for having been so devoted to make our experience so incredible! When we will come back, we will definitely ask for Joseph again and we will recommend him to all our friends.

Compared with the 3 other agencies consulted to organized this trip, 4x4adventure ltd provided an answer/proposal respecting the most my requests and my dates with good choices of places to visit, right lenght of stay in each one and perfect accommodations, once again compared to the other agencies proposal. They were also the most expensive. A posteriori, we made the right choice as all steps of the trip were great and even greater day after day: the agency managed very well with the choice of hotels and lodges. Each one were ranging from great to incredible and the quality was increasing accommodation after accommodation, which is very smart from Edwin, to make sure we could not be disappointed to leave a place for another. Thank you very much and we look forward to be back in Tanzania

5/5

Me and my wife had a lovley stay on our honeymoon in Samburo, Masai Mara and Lumo, accompanied by three very professional and care taking Guides. We enjoyed every second of our safaritrip and only regret that time went by so fast. We can only recommend Sunworld Safaris as your no.1 partner for your perfect safari experience.

5 Stars all around
5/5

We were 2 female travelers in Kenya (and Africa!) for the very first time!
We had the most incredible time!
From planning with Joseph in the Sunworld office to making changes with Alice during his absence, we felt very well advised and take care of.
Our tour guide Mwashi was the best part about our whole visit! He is incredibly knowledgeable about all the animals, their behavior, the landscape, culture and history of the country!
He made us feel safe at all times, is very professional, caring and a pleasure to be around! He did all the thinking and planning for us, we just needed to enjoy the beauty of the country! We will definitely be back to spend more time with him!
The vehicle was in great shape and we navigated even through some challenging terrains due to recent rains.
One Tipp: Take advantage that Sunworld can pre-book and pay the park entry fees as part of the booking in advance so that there is no hassle at the entrance gates where online payment can be a challenge.

Really a big compliment to the management of this company, all the reviews about the staff here is excellent! We experienced only excellence too, so keep up what you are doing, it is working :-)
Than you so much!

Top class and well organised
5/5

Had an amazing experience and Sunworld Safaris did a fantastic job helping us enjoy the whole week. We had a first class service from start to finish and our guide/driver (Mwashi) was a wealth of knowledge and patience throughout. The consultant team at Sunworld were responsive to all our demands and requests and laid out a practical itinerary that ticked all the boxes. Will be using them again when we come back and have already started recommending them to our contacts.

Trip of a Lifetime
5/5

From the time we arrived until we were left at the airport, we were treated like royalty.
Our guides, Diger (in Nairobi), John Leng (Samburu) and Symo and Mario (Maasi Mara) were excellent and always on the lookout for how to make our trip special.
When DIger took us to the Elephant Sanctuary, he made sure that we had a great place to view the presentation, then took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch and made sure we had plenty of time at the Kuzuri bead factory.
John met us at the Samburu airport and by the time we made it to Ashnil, we had already seen 4 of the special five, watched 2 jackals eating their kill while shooing off the vultures and had learned the names of several birds.
We checked in to Ashnil, ate some lunch and went out for a late afternoon ride where we saw a leopard and tracked it for awhile. Our waiter, Elvis was very friendly and helpful and when we decided to have dinner in our tents due to bugs, he very graciously brought our meals to our rooms.
During the night, we had a LOT of rain and we knew that the river was raging, but we went on the morning ride even though it was raining. The rain did not deter the animals and we were soon met with a giraffe standing in the middle of the road just waiting for us. After that we saw three families of elephants and lots of other animals. We had breakfast in the land cruiser as it was still raining.
Upon arriving back at the camp, we were told to pack up and were moved up to Sonara, a sister camp. The operative word being up, which was away from the river. Their staff greeted us warmly and quickly settled us into rooms. After lunch, we went on an afternoon ride and then had a wonderful dinner.
Breakfast the next morning and then we were off for a leisurely ride to the airport. Upon arriving later than expected in Maasi, we were met by Symo and Mario and taken to the Bush Camp where the staff quickly put together a nice lunch for us as they realized we had not eaten since breakfast. Then, out for an afternoon ride.
I cannot say enough great things about the staff at the Bush Camp. Joseph, the manager, left after our first day to go for a home visit and Mercy, Nelson and another woman stepped in and made sure that our every need was met. Donald welcomed us to all our meals and explained everything we needed to know about the food and the Professor was a great bartender. These two men made our dinners fun. And, what can I say about the food - as good as any I have had in a 5-star restaurant. I have told people it was like eating on a Viking cruise (which I consider to be the highest of compliments.) The food selections were varied and imaginative as well as delicious.
We had breakfast on our drives each morning except for the last morning when we opted not to go for a drive and to have breakfast at the samp. When I came down for breakfast, I could not find where they had set it up. And, then I saw a staff member that sent me over to the bar tent. There, I found that they had set up breakfast for the three of us right next to the river. A lot of trouble for three people, but what a treat!
We saw all the animals of the Maasi except the rhino. My friends at home could not believe all the animals that we saw. We saw several prides of lions, as well as 2 leopards and 2 cheetahs - one with small cubs, giraffes, elephants, gazelle, topi, oryx, impala, ostriches (with babies), monkeys, baboons, hippos, zebras, jackals and lots of birds.
I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Mara Bush Camp and all the guides. And, the guards who walked us back and forth from the tents were definitely appreciated and Doris met me every morning with hot chocolate. The staff was definitely the icing on the cake for the trip.
And the accommodations could not have been better! Gives a new meaning to tenting. 🙂
I have already given your information to several people and are recommending your company as the way to see Kenya.
And, I would be remiss if I did not mention the guide that we had on our last day in Nairobi. He met us at the airport, took us for lunch and some shopping and then, we told him that we would be happy to just go to the airport and stay there until time to leave. He left us at the airport at 4:00 and told us to let him know when we had our boarding passes. When we got over to the terminal, they would not let us in so we called the guide. He came back for us as he had not left the grounds and then took us to a hotel where he used his connections to get us up to the roof bar where we could rest until we could go back to the airport. Again, he did not leave the airport grounds until we called and told him we had our boarding passes.
From door to door, your company took care of us - through all sorts of weather.
Thanks so much for a trip of a lifetime!

Outstanding!
5/5

Our recent trip to Kenya was just fantastic! Our tour coordinator Carolyn and guide throughout our trip, Wilson Siele, were a delight to work with and be with. The accommodations were outstanding, having stayed at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Eco lodges and Soroi Lions Bluff. The trip was so well done that I intend to book again with extended family in the near future. Really cannot say enough good things about Sunworld Safaris, Carolyn and Wilson! Asante Sana!!!

Sunworld Safaris, just great!
5/5

We are grateful to Sunworld Safaris for our most recent trip to Kenya. It was not our first time travelling with Sunworld Safaris and surely it won’t be the last time. They created a fantastic 14-day-programm for our trip to Kenya, and it was outstanding as always.
We visited Soroi Mara Bush Camp, Soroi Larsens Camp, Soroi Lions Bluff Lodge and the beautiful Diani Beach. We truly had an amazing time. If you want to discover Kenya in all its beauty and diversity with professionals leading the way, then Sunworld Safaris is most definitely the best and most experienced tour operator that we can recommend.

The camps and lodges selected were outstanding, their guides are experienced, reliable, trustworthy and professional in every aspect. As they own a fleet of four wheel vehicles (none older than three years) they run excellent road transportation all over the country.

What we particularly appreciated were the attention to detail like the re-usable water bottles, offered to us as a take home souvenir. Sunworld Safaris in general does a lot for sustainibility, they are committed to working with local communities in their excursions and otherwise and in turn educate in conserving the environment and aim to protect the existing parks & wildlife. During the difficult period of Corona in April 2020, they founded the Community & Wildlife Conservation (community-wildlife.org), a NGO that is dedicated to community development and conservation of protected areas. We were impressed with this mindset of giving back.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Sunworld Safaris in every way and would choose them any time again for my future travels.
