Photography and Safari
I am an amateur photographer and all the safari was made for it, and I could not have been more satisfied and pleased. I did the eastern tour of Sipi falls, Jinja, Pian-Upe, and Kidepo. If you've read about Uganda, these destinations are less traveled and very interesting (I highly recommend this itinerary for nature photographers like myself). The guide, Mr. Chris, is an excellent, patient and expert driver, with an exceptional ability in spotting wildlife and knowledge about wildlife, and he is friendly and very pleasant person.
Coleb (the owner) was our contact person at office, he's so friendly and he contained alot of my questions. He is fast in his replies and always asks if you have more questions :)). The lodges were exceptional too! If you are looking for something peaceful, quiet and intimate, then book with Standard Safaris

Interesting Africa
Right before the departure to Africa, I had a very informative and detailed meeting (via zoom) with Coleb about the entire safari. I have a specific allergy to some food, but Coleb arranged that very well. The package was crafted to my needs and lodges selected perfectly! In my opinion, this is a #1 tour organizer in East Africa!

Great team, great flexibility
We did an amazing 10 day round trip in Uganda with Standard Safaris, visited Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elisabeth National Park, Kibale Forest, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Lake Victoria. All the destinations are worth visiting, since they offer unique scenery, flora and fauna. Uganda is a beautiful and versatile country to visit in Africa, highly recommended to anyone. If I had a chance to return, I would definitely choose the team of Standard Safaris!

5-day Uganda Tour incl. Gorillas
The 5-day trip was very well organized, from the pick up from the airport, to the hotels and lodges and the whole travel itinerary. We very much enjoyed the tour, especially our tour guide was very nice and knowledgable which makes a huge difference in the whole travel experience. The absolute highlight was of course the gorilla trekking in Bwindi. We would definitely do it all over again and can only recommend the tour as well as the operator

Smooth safari planning by Standard Safaris
I was meant to travel to Uganda in 2020, just after covid-19 deadly lockdown but postponed till 2022. I got in touch with Standard Safaris for a safari booking and Coleb was always quick to respond and help out. The responses were accurate and I was delighted to be offered a great package to Bwindi NP, Kibale and Queen Elizabeth NP which was an affordable offer. I was picked at the airport and transferred to my hotel for my safari. I had an awesome experience.
Thank you guys.

Great Tour Operatur
Three of us went on a four-day budget safari to Queen Elisabeth NP, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (gorilla trekking) and Lake Bunyonyi in April 2023. It was a fantastic trip with our guides Chris and Coleb. Communication in advance was excellent and compared to other safari operators Standard Safaris offers top value for money.

Professional, Trustworthy, Client centered
I was in a group of 3 and went on a great tour with Standard Safaris to Queen Elizabeth National Park for safari, Bwindi National Park for gorilla trekking, and Bunyoni Lake. I was surprised by how many events they had prepared for our short 3-day trip. On our first day from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth, we went on a boat safari tour (which was wonderful seeing the safari animals nearby the lakes) and they even squeezed in an unplanned safari tour (where we saw some lions and other animals). Gorilla trekking was one of the highlights of our trip and our tour guide did a great job preparing us for our trek. Lastly, Lake Bunyoni was unexpectedly very beautiful and a part of Uganda that I did not know I had to visit but am so glad we did. Our tour guide during the bird tour at Lake Bunyoni was fantastic. We had booked a budget safari tour and Standard Safaris had the most competitive price. For many aspects of our trip, our tour guide and Coleb (owner of Standard Safaris, who joined us for the trip) went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. All the lodging was clean and the food provided was good.
