Amazing experience
We had an amazing time with Kihindo safaris. We did the 3 day Selous reserve Safari. Our guide Francis was very knowledgable and accommodating. Everything about the trip was smooth start to finish. We were picked up on time from our hotel and taken straight to the safari. One thing to note is there was no Wi-Fi or hot water showers however this added to the bush experience. The food at the camp was amazing and we did not spend any more money whilst there. I would recommend getting your tour guide to take you to the village in the evening for a drink with the local people and experience the culture there. The boat Safari on day 1 was really
good and the full games drive safari on day 2 was also really good. We saw lots of animals and our guide did everything to make sure we got the most out of the day. at the end of the trip Francis took us to the ferry port and ensured we safely booked and made it on time. Overall I am really happy with this Safari tour and I would highly recommend. Also, the communication beforehand was perfect and they will pick up and drop from wherever you need to be.

It's a very small agency. Isaya drives his own vehicle, he is careful but being his own boss does everything to please us.
We brought up 2 people whose vehicle had broken down (with our permission) they told us they had seen more animals in 1 hour with us than the day before all day with the driver of their big agency.
Thanks to Isaya our driver and Tatiana our French-speaking guide, they know how to be discreet but also like to share. we just want to go back!

My husband and I did a safari tour with Kihindo Tours and it was wonderful. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. Our point of contact, Winnie was attentive and easy to reach. We spent 3 days and we will always remember these days. The animals and nature there are fantastic. We saw everything we wanted and more :) We saw lions and elephants, the giraffe even one meter away. No need to go to such a Serigeti on a safari to see all the animals, because it can also be seen by Mikumi. We recommend choosing this service and we guarantee that you will not regret it :) We spent 15 days in Tanzania and we remember the safari most vividly. It was a incredible experience
In Dar es Salaam we were picked up by Isaya from Kihindo Tours, and after a 6 hour journey we arrived in Makumi. There we started the 3-day safari tour. Isaya knew a lot about the animals. We saw all the animals we wanted to see. We saw several lions eating a zebra, which was definitely the highlight. Just like the rare leopard, which we saw twice. Isaya certainly contributed to this beautiful trip! It was a great experience not to forget! Thank you Isaya.

Our visit to Mikumi with @KIHINDO tours and safaris was very special. Although it was rainy season we saw plenty of animals, including lions, elefantes, etc… I highly recommend to book through them if you really want to have a great experience. Highly recommended, professional tour operator
Isaya is a very friendly and easy guide to communicate with. In the weeks before the safari, questions were answered very quickly.
At our pick up in Dar es Salaam we were told that Isaya wouldnt guide us these days, bcs of another booking. This was a bit of a surprise for us. Instead we got Gaston, who turned out to be a great match for us!
Kihindo offers great value for money and the accomodations we stayed in during our Mikumi trip were very good. We even got an upgrade as the standard room in the national park had only a queensize bed and not a seperate one for our 4 year old.
Mikumi was an alternatieve for us as we initially planned for Selous. Due to the wet season Isaya adviced us to go to Mikumi to be able to see more animale.

Wonderful safari in Selous
We are a family of 5 including 3 children and we went on a 3 day 2 night safari in Selous.
It was a great stay and so different!
All the organisation was very well done and the programme was respected. Good value for money for the service.
Our guide Isaya and her driver Otto were fantastic, giving us lots of information about the animals and their way of life.
Unfortunately we did not get to see any lions but all the other animals were there!
Thank you to them for a wonderful 3 days with them.
We loved the 3 types of safari: boat, 4x4 and walking.
We highly recommend Kihindo Tours to organise your safari in Tanzania!

Excellent guide and wonderful experience
We booked our safari of the Selous Game Reserve with Kihindo Tours in 2019, for 4 days and 3 nights. The safari with kihindo was an incredible experience, thanks to our young but very experienced guide Isaiah. During our safari, our gide made sure to do everything to find all the animals we wanted to see,and did not stop looking until he found them all, and then took the time to explain in details all there is to know about every species and to answer all of our questions.
