Very beautiful and unique experience
The guide and driver are very kind, very good communication with them. Lot of fun. We were lucky to see all animals that we wanted to see because of the experience of the guide and the driver, they know all the best places in mikumi park.
The guide have very good knowledge about all animals and he will explain to you all that you want to know about them.
I recommend for sure ! Amazing experience

Kihindo Tours and Safaris is the most creative, professional, and cool tour operator in Tanzania.
No right words can explain my Selous Game reserve Safari that was organized by Kihindo Tours. I had the most amazing time doing the game drive at Selous.
I submitted some initial information on Safari Bookings website, not knowing really much of anything other than that I wanted the best safari experience, and promptly were set up with three experienced travel agencies in Tanzania. Within 10 minutes, Kihindo Tours called me and he spoke so friendly. I went with this cordial as he was good at communicating and very open to meeting my specific requests. He’s a very experienced travel expert and has been coming up with Selous Game Reserve travel plans for a while. Based on the initial information I submitted, he drew up an initial general outline itinerary for me. Kihindo Tours is very flexible – adjusting things here and there (activities, accommodations, you name it) before we came to a finalized itinerary that I was very happy about. And my oh my, when the day for my Safari finally arrived, I was not disappointed.
There are so many memorable parts of the trip- the most amazing Boat Safari in Rufiji River, the accommodation where I slept, not forgetting the full day game drive in the National park. I saw elephants, lions, hippos, giraffe etc - you name it. It was such a good safari experience.
If you could take the trip again, I would you do nothing differently. Throughout the trip, I kept saying that this is my first safari experience that I was treated like a queen. Kihindo Tours really set up the trip in a way that I just showed up, relaxed and had fun, because everything was taken care of. Asante sana Kihindo Tours and Safaris.

Awesome 3 day safari to Selous!
We did a 3 day safari to Selous with Kihindo Tours. It was amazing! One of our best experiences throughout all of our travels. The boat safari was fun and a nice intro to Selous. We travelled with 4 children (2, 4, 9, and 12) and they enjoyed cruising on the river looking at the wildlife. The highlight was definitely day 2 doing the all day safari drive. It was almost surreal! We saw lions, hyenas, giraffes, elephants, zebras, hippos, wild hogs, baboons, wildebeest, water buffalos, impalas, and much more. The walking safari was great as well, where we got educated on the plants and local uses of them. Our family would highly recommend Kihindo Tours! They are professional, knowledgeable, and overall great people. Thanks again Kihindo Tours! We hope to do more tours with you in the future.

Incredible experience with the best guides
The tour was great. We were picked up at the appointed time from our hotel, accompanied by a guide and a driver. On the way we were chatting and it was very pleasant. It is true that the road is very long (from Dar Es Salaam to Mikumi Park was about 6 hours), but we stopped for lunch before arriving and there was no problem to stop at some point to stretch or go to the toilet. Once in the park we immediately started the game drive, to look for animals. The guide was telling us all about the animals we were finding, as well as about the park in general and the other parks in Tanzania. The driver knew the park well and took us around the area very well. Even at sunset they took us to see lions. The first night we slept in the park itself, in very well equipped huts. Dinner was also included. The next day we started the game drive very early (at 6:30 before breakfast) to see the animals waking up, which is when they are most active. We had breakfast and then we went around the park until noon. At the end of the tour we saw lionesses and their cubs, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, crocodiles and many birds. The second night we slept outside the park, in Camp Bastian, which is super nice, full of nature. We had dinner and early the next morning after breakfast, we returned with the guide and the driver back to Dar. The most incredible thing is that the road out of the park crosses the park, so we saw giraffes and elephants. Overall a very good tour, both the guide and the driver were super nice and pleasant, you could tell they knew the area and liked their job. It is true that it is a very short tour and at the end it gets tiring, but I recommend it if you don't have much time to go to the big parks in the north of the country.
A wonderful experience with the perfect guide
It was the first time for me and my family to go on a safari. We didn’t know what to expect but from the first moment everything was very well organized. We went directly to the national park and already got to see lots of animals. Our tour guide Isaya was amazing he answered all our questions and planed everything perfectly. He is a very kind and warm person so it was fun to have him guide us through this experience. I can highly recommend kihindo tours and safaris!!! :)

Very professional & funny
I booked a 2 days Safari with Kihindo. I was impressed by how professional it was, and this since the booking from France till my way back to the airport. Everything promised was executed. I was with my wife and my 2 small kids. We loved the guide (Jeffrey) and the driver (William), they were so kind and always worried about our satisfaction and pleasure. We felt the passion from them, they were making sure that we find and meet animals, and, always with impressive explanations. I do recommend Kihindro at 200%.
