They provided a first rate experience in planning for our needs and giving us what we wanted.

I can't say enough good things about African Ubuntu Safaris. They knew the right people and the right places which
gave us a fabulous experience on our trip. The ability to connect us with wonderful "handlers" who picked us up
and transported us to our next destination was flawless. I'm sure that this skill takes a lot of "behind the scenes"
attention to detail. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for anyone looking for a quality African experience.

Very well organised itinerary with a fantastic selection of locations
5/5

Armed with a high level wishlist, Cuan was able to recommend and organise all aspects of our tour across four countries. He selected very comfortable accommodation with amenities that exceeded our expectations. All internal flights and transfers were as per our schedule and the staff at all our safari camps were very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We could not fault the service we received at all locations and the food was first class. The vehicles we used on safari were very comfortable and ideal for viewing all the wildlife we encountered. We would happily recommend all four safaris we undertook to anyone wishing to experience Africa and would strongly recommend African Ubuntu Safaris to organise all aspects of any proposed trip.

Wonderful, Adventurous, Stimulating, Exceptional
5/5

My sister and I had the real pleasure of travelling with African Ubuntu Safaris in 2014. My sister is still putting pictures on her facebook page! I believe it changed her life. That's why I decided it is never too late to write a review. My sister wrote a glowing article on our trip organised by African Ubuntu Safaris for the newspaper, but I let the chance slip away. Cuan and his team were always available to answer any queries. All our arrangements, including small plane pickups at isolated airstrips, were first rate. From start to finish our trip was amazing: Big Cave Camp at Matobo National Park was enchanting as well as being geologically dramatic, Davison's Camp at Hwange National Park was an amazing experience and of course a stay at the Victoria Falls Hotel is the icing on the cake of any visit to southern Africa. I have travelled many times in Africa; the experiences with African Ubuntu Safaris stand out. I don't hesitate to recommend Cuan and his team to friends and acquaintances who are considering travelling to Africa. So don't hesitate, just go!

Our tour exceeded all our expectations
5/5

I gave Cuan and African Ubuntu 5 stars for two reasons.
Firstly the tour itself, wow what a blast!! I wanted this safari to be a special trip with my son and there’s no question, it was. The tented mobile safari was outstanding, from the wildlife that visited in the camp, to the staff, the excellent food and the game drives, each time I looked at my son, he had the biggest smile on his face and he kept shaking his head muttering “I can’t believe this “
Secondly, the only spanner in the works was entirely my own doing and once it was well and truly jammed in there, I emailed Cuan for some advice. In short order, Cuan rang me from overseas, clarified this situation and had it entirely sorted that same day. It was a tremendous relief and an indication of the service and care that he offers.

Our first visit to Africa was everything we had hoped for.
5/5

As first-time visitors to Africa, we wanted to experience some beautiful landscapes, contemporary culture as well as the wildlife. We also requested a combination of self-drive and guided experiences. Cuan provided a well thought out itinerary the included all of the above including a good mix of accommodation that fitted with our budget. We really enjoyed the small bed and breakfast stays and the safari camps and lodges Everything went like clockwork, pickups, flights and tours. It was a bit of magic!
Cuan always returned my calls and emails promptly and it was a pleasure organising a trip with him.
I would highly recommend booking with African Ubuntu Safaris and I am already thinking about our next adventure to Africa!

Excellent communication, customer service and all land/air arrangements.
5/5

Everything about our safari ranging from our initial arrival in Johannesburg to our departure from Maun was excellent. All African Ubuntu land and air arrangements ( by Cuan) were very professional and well organised.
To have a friendly face (Cuan's dad) meet and greet us after our long flight to Johannesburg was a most welcome start to our journey.
Our 3 safaris were all exciting and lived up to our high expectations.
I would not hesitate to book again with Cuan of African Ubuntu Safaris.

Absolutely brilliant!
5/5

Cuan was amazing, he planned everything perfectly. We couldn’t fault anything from the luggage storage, air and land transfers arranged to the places we visited and the wonderful safaris. He was extremely prompt with his email responses and patient when we were deciding what we wanted to do. The whole experience from the planning with Cuan to the safaris was well beyond our expectations, unforgettable and was worth every penny. Cuan’s father looked after our bags in J’burg whilst we were on Safari which made our holiday stress free as we had luggage we couldn’t take on the small planes. The staff and the service at all the places we stayed were wonderful. They encourage their accomodation to feel like your home and bend over backwards to help you in any way and make your holiday memorable and special. The food is delicious and there is so much variety and ample food-no one will go hungry! The experience with the animals is perfect and can’t be described- it is something everyone should experience, it is so special and we can’t wait to come back and start planning our next Safari adventure. Thank you Cuan for planning the most unforgettable and special honeymoon!

Outstandingly good advice and personal service - our 4-week family tour could not have been better
5/5

At our first meeting Cuan listened to what we wanted to do, then helped us to draw up an itinerary with dates. He organised our 6-night (2 Camp) visit to Kruger, and our 4 night (2 Camp) visit to the Okavango Delta, choosing the best locations and taking care of every detail, as well as all internal flights including 3 light aircraft flights, all airport transfers and a 7-seater car hire. The staff at all of these camps were incredibly friendly and kind, and the safari tour guides did a wonderful job. Cuan advised us where to stay in Johannesburg - the Holiday Inn Rosebank has the enormous advantage of having its own private entrance to the Shopping Mall, with an excellent range of shops and restaurants. Entrance back to the hotel is with your room card. He also advised whereabouts to stay in Cape Town (which turned out to be an amazing location), and which Johannesburg airport hotel to book en route to Botswana - another very good choice and very reasonably priced. His suggestions regarding where to stay on the Garden Route again turned out to be very good advice. Before we started, Cuan sent us an 8-page illustrated itinerary complete with tour map. A really nice touch was being greeted by Cuan's father each time we stayed in Johannesburg. A delightful person who was also most helpful. Although no problems arose, he was always contactable in case we needed him. We fully expected to pay African Ubuntu Safaris a fee for all the services provided, but no charge was made. Can't think of any aspect of this tour which could have been better.

Cuan is an exceptional travel agent and planned our unforgettable three week safari to Africa.
5/5

Cuan used his extensive local experience to plan our incredible trip that spanned 9 countries with 7 flights. Cuan provided an excellent service with great communication. Nothing was a problem and if there was he would fix it. At every step of the way we were met by friendly local guides who would transfer us to the next stop. Our highlights were the Big 5, Mapula lodge on the Okavanaga delta, the 3 day house boat on the Chobe River, Victoria Falls, sitting with the meerkats, the gorilla trek in Uganda, a Masai Village cultural experience, the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro crater and the wilderbeest crossing complete with a crocodile attack. 3,000 photos later our African safari thanks to Cuan was the trip of a lifetime. I would highly recommend Cuan to plan your next African Safari!! You wont regret it.
