professional, reliable, direct and effective!
We enjoyed 4 days of safari with a very friendly budget. Everything was perfect! During our Safari we enjoyed the endless beauty of nature where each sunrise and every encounter with wildlife becomes a lasting memory. We had a private chef who cooked fresh, delicious meals and a great tour guide that taught us a lot about wildlife. We definitely recommend to book a Safari with Topy tours!
Good value for money. 4 parks in 5 days
The entire trip fulfilled my expectations. The communication with Jackson prior to the trip went very smoothly, email and whatsapp - he answered patiently and promptly to all my questions :-). He came to meet us up on the day before we left for safari to explain everything about the trip and he also took care of our larger suitcases. After the safari he met us up again, this time to deliver our suitcases at check-in at our next destination in Arusha (after safari) and to make sure that we had a pleasant safari. Also transport from and to the airport is included.
We were on a shared safari, meaning people jumped on and off at different parks and locations. It worked fine as it would have been much more expensive to charter a safari jeep for only 2 people. Our driver Assad was with us for our entire 5 day safari. He knows every corner of the parks and made us go through different roads to avoid other jeeps and to find animals. Yes, we managed to see the Big Five, though the rhino was in a very far distance. My favourite park? Ngorongoro crater due to the large number of animals. However, Serengeti was fantastic too :-). All the 4 parks had their own character.
We chose to go midrange, no camps and we are very happy with the different lodges and glampings provided. Breakfast and dinner (usually buffet) were all great. Our chef that came along made nice lunches, so much better than all the cardboard box lunches most of the other companies provided to their clients.
Any improvements:
I can only add to previous reviews regarding the visit of a "Masai village". I usually try to avoid these kind of visits wherever I go. We were asked if we wanted to stay at one of them and we were told it was a more authentic one, but I felt uncomfortable during the entire visit. A short dance, very few words about their daily lives and then we were invited to a hut where the man's wife and child were asleep. And then the mandatory visit to their shop. Awkward. I did not read or hear anything about any warnings prior to the visit.

Posted on Nov 20, 2023Hi Kristina,
Thank you for your honest feedback on your experience with us. We would also like to take your advice on point of improvement and we would also like to insist it on other clients that, the Maasai tour is completely optional tour and most clients opt against it as it is not authentic.
Kind regards,
Jackson

Unforgettable Safari Trip with an amazing guide!
Our recent safari trip, undertaken by a group of five, was a journey to remember. From start to finish, this adventure exceeded our expectations and introduced us to the wonders of Tanzania's remarkable national parks. We were fortunate to have an exceptional guide, Ali Hassan, and our journey allowed us to witness four of the "Big Five" animals while exploring some incredible destinations.
Our adventure began in Arusha, where we were warmly welcomed and prepared for an unforgettable journey. Our first destination was Tarangire National Park on the first day, and it left us in awe of the diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes. Our comfortable lodge provided the perfect base to relax after a day of adventure.
On the second day, we found ourselves at the renowned Ngorongoro National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The day was filled with thrilling wildlife encounters and stunning vistas, including a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater. Our guide's extensive knowledge and passion for conservation enhanced our experience as we witnessed lions, elephants, buffalos, and giraffes in their natural habitat.
Our final day was equally captivating as we explored a coffee plantation and reveled in the beauty of a magnificent waterfall. Learning about the local coffee production and tasting freshly brewed coffee was a treat for our senses. The visit to the waterfall provided a refreshing and picturesque end to our safari adventure.
Throughout our journey, our guide's dedication to making our safari special was truly commendable. The game drives were a highlight, offering unforgettable wildlife encounters during their most active times. The evenings spent by the campfire, filled with stories and stargazing, added a magical touch to our adventure.
Our group also had the privilege of engaging with the Maasai community and learning about their traditions, which was a humbling cultural experience. This safari offered the perfect blend of adventure and cultural immersion.
In summary, our safari was a remarkable journey that allowed our group of five to connect with Africa's wilderness. Outstanding guides, incredible wildlife, and comfortable lodgings at each destination made it an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this safari to anyone looking for an adventure that renews your appreciation for nature and the diversity of Africa. It's a trip that will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Great experience with Topy tour 4-days Safari
We had a great time during the 4-days safari. We could see the big 5!! Although the rhino was a bit far.
Our driver made sure we saw as many animals as possible, and have enough time to take pictures.
It was also nice to meet and share our experiences with other travellers. The food was also good. Kudos to the chef for making fresh bread during camping!
Overall a great experience!!

It was an awesome experience
We had a great time with Topy tours. Jackson really helped plan the perfect itinerary for us and took personal care to ensure all the details were executed perfectly. We had a good stay at all the lodges and the safari was incredible. The only one point which could have been done better was the stay at Arusha as the hotels there were not very good.

Posted on Oct 4, 2023Hello Rashmi,
Thank you for your great feedback. Topy tours team we are all honored to receive such feedbacks, as we work hard to ensure we provide what we promise. We would also like to point out you concern about the accommodations in Arusha before and after the tour, which are listed as free of charge. These accommodations are of budget and they offer nothing fancy, however they have great services, clean rooms and overall people are nice. So to our future clients, we normally share photos and details concerning these free accommodations and if you would not like them please let us know so we can book accommodation of your choice at own costs.
Regards,
Jackson

Great 4 days safari experience
The whole trip has fulfilled my expectations. The communication with the agency went very smoothly, through Jackson on email and whatsapp, he came to our hotel before we left for safari and after we came back to explain everything ( about the schedule and the camps, about our guide and the cook, and other useful info) and to make sure everything was fine. They were very flexible and also arranged for our transport to the airport.
The safari itself was great; we have seen a lot of animals—all the big five—only the rino was quite far away, but enough for me. I expected it to be a bit boring and dull all the time in the car, but the 4 days were entertaining enough and perfect for my taste. Our guide/driver, Freddie, was very nice; he is a great driver, knows a lot about the animals, and is a very friendly and fun person to have around. Each evening after dinner, we would have some nice talks, and he would explain the plan for the next day. Talking about the dinner, the food was AMAZING( home-made bread made there in the camps, pizza, and pasta, just to name a few). Our cook, Simba, and his crew prepared some nice dishes for us, and before each dinner, he came and presented us the menu, that was really nice and added a personal touch. We had breakfast and dinner in the camps, and for lunch, they were walking up early and preparing it for takeout to eat somewhere along the way. The camps where we slept in tents (2 nights) were already set up by the time we got there. To sum it up, I really recommend this safari from Toppy Tours, especially with Simba and Freddie if you are lucky.
