Great 4 days safari experience
The whole trip has fulfilled my expectations. The communication with the agency went very smoothly, through Jackson on email and whatsapp, he came to our hotel before we left for safari and after we came back to explain everything ( about the schedule and the camps, about our guide and the cook, and other useful info) and to make sure everything was fine. They were very flexible and also arranged for our transport to the airport.
The safari itself was great; we have seen a lot of animals—all the big five—only the rino was quite far away, but enough for me. I expected it to be a bit boring and dull all the time in the car, but the 4 days were entertaining enough and perfect for my taste. Our guide/driver, Freddie, was very nice; he is a great driver, knows a lot about the animals, and is a very friendly and fun person to have around. Each evening after dinner, we would have some nice talks, and he would explain the plan for the next day. Talking about the dinner, the food was AMAZING( home-made bread made there in the camps, pizza, and pasta, just to name a few). Our cook, Simba, and his crew prepared some nice dishes for us, and before each dinner, he came and presented us the menu, that was really nice and added a personal touch. We had breakfast and dinner in the camps, and for lunch, they were walking up early and preparing it for takeout to eat somewhere along the way. The camps where we slept in tents (2 nights) were already set up by the time we got there. To sum it up, I really recommend this safari from Toppy Tours, especially with Simba and Freddie if you are lucky.

Customer satisfaction is a high priority
We truly recommend this tour. You get the best value for your money!
I booked the tour directly with Topy Tours from home. The owner Jackson always responded quickly and answered all the questions in advance. One day before the safari started Jackson came by our hostel (kinda out of the city) and gave us a short briefing about the itinerary and answered all questions. Even on the evening before our last day, he came by and suggested another option for our last day. Customer service is a big part of Topy Tours.
We were also completely happy about our driver Lobulu. At all times we felt safe and sound. One our way to Serengeti it started to rain but Lobulu managed the muddy road with ease. While others got stuck. He also has a lot of knowledge about the wildlife and always knew where to spot the animals.
Our cook Guideon made our experience even better. Guideon had not only always a joke to tell, but his food was very delicious. You have to try his self made bread!
Thanks to you all for this lifetime experience!

Amazing Safari with very good value for money !
We chose to do a private 5 days Safari in Tarangire / Serengeti / Ngorongo, it was an amazing experience! We saw so many animals and our driver was very skilled.
The lodges chosen, the food and the experience was really great.
We had only a small problem of communication in the end but Topy Tour has reacted quickly to solve it.
Overall, we recommend this tour operator!

Great safari experience, great quality for a great price, totally recommend
We had a great experience during our 4 days safari with Topy Tours. We saw all the Big 5 and so many more like zebras, giraffes, hippos. We were lucky enough to even see a lioness hunting a wildebest right on our first day. In general we saw the animals from so close, we didn't expect that and we loved it. Only the rhino we could only see with binoculars, the rhino doesn't like to be close to people but all ohter animals we could observe closely with our own eyes. Our guide Freddy made sure we have a good time and answered to all our questions. The food was great too, our chef Simba even made fresh bread every day, very delicious. Sleeping in tents where animals could roam around was a bit scary at first but it was completelly safe. The communication before the safari went very smooth and Jackson answered all my questions (and they weren't a few !!!). Great quality for a great price, totally recommend!

Honest , prompt in answering all my queries, easy to deal with, professional. Hotels and guides
We met Jackson on our first day in Arusha for our 6 day tour : Serengeti , ngorongoro ngorongoro, tarangire, kilimamjaro day hike and matureni waterfalls and coffe tour. This tour was perfect for us because it included everything we wanted to do in and around Arusha. His service, professionalism and honesty was faultless. The itinerary that he sent me was clear and detailed with photos. I loved the actual itinerary and the way he laid it out.
Jackson even helped us to get a local sim utilising one of his contacts who was equally professional and extremely helpful in setting it up and I’m so grateful for him for enabling us to be connected to the internet all through our stay with a one month great 9gb package for 20,000tsh. We sat down with Jackson and his friend on the first day and had pizza together and we could honestly say that it was one of the highlights of our trip chatting and getting to know those two kind and pleasant Tanzanian young men.
I have to say the highlight for me dealing with jackson was his prompt responses to all my questions about the tour on what’s app before I committed to the tour and equally after. He took care of everything from accomodation, tours, transfers and food all with a 10/10 score.
Even when there was a bit of miscommunication when I asked for an upgrade to a lodge in ngorongoro ngorongoro and Serengeti, he dealt with it extremely professionally and it was sorted out smoothly. His respect , calmness and welcome of us certainly made our experience all the more positive.
If you want to do any tourism in Arusha or surrounds he is defiantly the one.
Regarding the trip itself:
Safari at Serengeti and tarangire was amazing . But note that the trip from Arusha to Serengeti is around 5 hours and the road into the Serengeti park and even for a while after you enter the park is very bumpy and it takes a good hour before you start spotting animals . But then it is amazing and an absolute must once on a life time experience.
Ngorongoro ngorongoro was such an amazing place and it was all the more special because we spotted a rhino close up and running for a good while.
The Kilimanjaro 5 hour climb from the gate at 1800m elevation to mandara hut at 2720m caught us by surprise . It was a little strenuous for us and took 6 hours including lunch break, we had to rush so our companion travellers can catch their 8.20 flight to Zanzibar.
I still loved it though and was very happy to do it . So glad we rented the hiking shoes because they are a must.
Matureni falls were absolutely spectacular and breathtaking. Be prepared to get your shoes very muddy or just rent some gumboots.

Unique expérience!
My girlfriend and I booked 3 days of excursions with Topy tours (Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Materuni).
These 3 days were amazing and varied! The first two days, accompanied by Assad, our guide, we had the chance to discover two of the most beautiful safaris in Tanzania! Assad was excellent, he knows the parks perfectly and made us go through different roads to avoid the multitude of tourists.
The crater of Ngorongoro is just incredible and full of animals of all kinds.
Finally, on the last day we visited the village of Materuni, accompanied by Manfred and God, a local guide. Really nice, they took us to the incredible waterfall 30 minutes walk from the village. We also shared a delicious and very pleasant meal, quiet perched in the mountains.
If we had to add a small negative comment, we were still very disappointed with the visit of a "Massai village". This is not included in the stay, and has nothing authentic. The inhabitants, after a small dance, brought us into the village, with the sole purpose of robbing us. Very oppressive, they are only after our money, it was not a very pleasant experience.
However, despite this little incident, we still had an incredible experience that we will not soon forget!
We highly recommend!

Posted on Jul 30, 2023Hello Romain,
Thanks for your 5-star feedback on our whole service. However, we would like to address your "Maasai tour" to provide awareness to all our future clients. It is not our first time to get this kind of feedback about this tour and that is why we did not include it in your itinerary. In all our itineraries for future clients, we have mentioned that "Many clients opt against this tour". and the main reason is it looks staged!
So we recommend doing a lot of research and asking for advice before deciding to do this tour.
