Superb tour
Amos and Dav Safaris arranged a completely fantastic trip for my wife and I. We traveled throughout Uganda viewing and photographing 534 species of birds and many animals of Uganda including the shoebill stork, mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, zebras, Cape buffalo, elephant, and hippopotamus. The accommodations were always comfortable for the areas we visited.

life at lake Mburo National park
Travelling to Lake Mburo with Dav Safaris was all bravo, guide Amos made it as Professional guides do, he was really helpful to us, he made the tour enjoyful. Accomodation was very good in the hotel of Mestil where they cared for us like babies. On our way to Mburo it was amazing, we had to see the beautiful features of Uganda which guide Amos really explained to us. On reaching Lake Mburo we had boat cruise which was above our expectations, it was all fun at Lake Mburo. Great thanks go to guide Amos plus the entire Dav Safaris team for such wonderful preparations.

Best safari possible :)
What an amazing experience! The personalised service provided was unbeatable. My guide knew all the right spots to go to see the animals and the best bits of information about them, very interesting conversations about the safari and the country in general. Would repeat every time, and thank you for the grasshoppers, they were actually delicious :)

Best safari possible
I did a 4 day safari (that turned into 5 days) which included gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking, among other things. All of the activities that Reagan planned in my itinerary were very exciting. The gorilla trek, of course, was the highlight of it all and it was truly a captivating experience that I will never forget. That activity, although expensive, is a must do item. The chimpanzee trekking was also a unique experience. Even the boat ride on the Kazinga Channel which I didn’t expect much of, turned out to be such a great experience. The meals were all delicious, and the “budget” accommodations were actually extremely luxurious for me. There were some issues caused by a road closure on the last day which completely changed my itinerary. It was out of our control and nobody could be blamed for it. Reagan worked with me to fix it and I very much appreciate it. It was stressful for everyone but it all turned out okay in the end. This is a company that will look out for you to make sure that you’re satisfied. Customer service is very important for them. My driver, Patrick, was incredible. I had such a great time driving around southern Uganda with him, the drive was the second best part of the trip. I always felt safe with his expert driving abilities, and he was okay with talking, listening to music, or just driving with the windows down and staring at the landscapes. He would also look out for me in any areas where there could be petty theft, and raise the windows so that nobody would be tempted to take my phone from my hands. Essentially, he made sure from day 1 until I was at the airport that nothing bad would happen to me. Hands down, I recommend taking a safari/trekking/touring trip with Dav Safaris. Don’t even waste your time looking at other companies. Dav Safaris will offer you the best combination of itinerary and price, and you can be confident that if anything goes wrong, that you will be taken care of. Thank you so much for everything.

The best option to do on a safari Uganda and Rwanda
Compared to other agencies we saw, we had the best Vehicle, very charming hotels (especially Bunyonyi Rock Resort) and the food was spectacular. The price is very tight and the 5 days / 4 nights itinerary could not be more complete.
We were assigned a guide who spoke very good English (no need to ask) and who took us excellently throughout the trip. Special mention to Amos, and Reagan who made it a magical trip. Without a doubt, we would repeat.
Super recommended! Many thanks!!

Dav Safaris is the absolute best!
As soon as our tour guide picked us up, we knew we were in for an amazing time. Amos
was incredibly friendly, flexible and energetic. We spent together 8 incredible days driving through Uganda and Rwanda, doing safari, gorillas trekking, visiting local villages, trying local food.
While giraffes, elephants, buffalos, hipos, antelopes were in abundance, Amos knew
how to find the more reclusive game. We saw several male and female lions, baby lions, leopards from very close. The price of our tour was very reasonable, communication with Dav Safari was excellent, and the tour exceeded our expectations. The gorillas trekking was done in a less known place what helped to avoid the crowds and feel really connected with the nature.
Thank You Very Much Dav Safaris for given us an amazing once in a lifetime experience!!! If we ever get back to Uganda, we will be calling them and in the meantime, telling everyone we know to check them out.

What a luxury Treat
One of a kind! I stumbled onto Dav Safaris when I was searching the web for a tour that would cover the primates & Masai Mara. Reagan, who coordinated my tour was amazing! He was very communicative and professional. If you are having a hard time deciding what level trip to do, I highly recommend the luxury trip, it will be worth every penny! The lodges are with it!
Uganda
I was picked up from my hostel in Entembee by Arafat, my driver. He was great and made sure I enjoyed my experience. The vehicle was always clean and comfortable. We heading from there to my first lodge, Turaco Treetops. On the way we stopped at the equator then when we were closer to the lodge, for a cultural experience which was nice. I wish I had arrived at the lodge sooner because it was that amazing, one night is not enough time there! The next day we headed to Kibale National Park for the chimpanzee hike, which was unforgettable! After the hike we headed to the next lodge, Mahogany Springs. Along the way we used a through road in Queen Elizabeth National Park and was lucky to see elephants, water buffalo, lions and a hippopotamus! The next morning I went to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for the mountain Gorillas. I saw a family that had a 6 month old baby and 2 silverbacks! After the hike I did another cultural experience which was also nice. The following morning we headed to Kampala for a sleep before heading to Jinja for whitewater rafting, which was the most amazing reading I have ever done!
Kenya
I was picked up from the airport by Henry, my driver. He was great, he made sure I enjoyed my Safari's and the vehicle was always in great condition and comfortable. He dropped me off at a hotel in Nairobi and the next day we headed for my lodge, Zebra Plains, outside of the Talek Gate to Masai Mara National Reserve, where I stayed for two nights. On the way we stopped to see the rift valley. Once I got to my lodge, I checked in, had lunch then headed out for an afternoon Safari. The next morning I did the hot air balloon experience out of the Fig Tree Camp, within the Reserve. If you are on the fence with this experience, do it! After the balloon ride we had a champaign breakfast then I was brought to my driver and we had a full day safari. The next day we drove through the park from the Talek Gate out the main gate, shortly after we stopped so I could visit a Masai village, which was very enjoyably. We then headed to Nairobi where he dropped me off at my hostel.
