Professional, kind, trusful
Once again, many thanks for making such a trip possible. The organisation, the effectiveness, the planning and on top the guides and cooks were excellent. We felt so comfortable although being so far from home. Everything worked out in time and perfectly. We felt very safe and were treated like royals or VIPs.
A special thanks to our great guides during climbing journey. It was tough time for my friend and me and we always felt professional friendly support from our guides.
Once more, many thanks for all of the above mentioned but also the perfect service at the airport, both when arriving and leaving the country and kind regards from very happy clients.

Professional, Great Customer Service, Supportive
Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro was one of the most exhilarating and transformative experiences of my life. From the breathtaking landscapes to the sense of achievement upon reaching the summit, every step of the journey was both challenging and deeply rewarding. The Kilele Climb Tours helped to achieve that. This is a great company to select for that adventure, it is very friendly, professional and careful. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to support the local business and make sure they won't be led down.
The trek itself offers a stunning variety of terrains, from lush rainforests at the base to rocky, lunar-like landscapes as you approach the summit. Each day presents a new challenge, but also a unique beauty that makes every mile worth it. The guides and porters were exceptional—knowledgeable, supportive, and truly passionate about ensuring that everyone reached the top safely.
The arrangements provided by Kilele are of high standard including the lovely food during the climb, a comfy tent and all support provided day by day for the whole trip

Very Professional and working with full of his hearth
We can highly recommend the Kili climb with Kilele Climb. Everything was very well organised and the team was great. We climbed the Rongai Route and descended via the Marangu Route. We had a day of acclimatisation on Mawenzi. The Kilele Climb team was very well organised and gave us great support with everything. We felt that we were in good hands. Many thanks to Kilele Climb for making this adventure of climbing Kilimanjaro possible for us.
It was great, perfect organisation.

Superb team that work together to make the experience authentic, personalised and enjoyable.
Amazing experience. We booked the 7 day tour. We were 2 people and joined by one other individual.
10/10 from start to finish.
Communication flawless.
Logistics worked a treat (pick up / drop off from airport etc
Tour itself amazing … so many fantastic features eg
- private toilet (as a woman I really really appreciated this - a sit down toilet steps away from the tent is very useful .. who knew you pee ALL THE TIME at high altitude! It’s not fun in such cold temperatures I tell you!!! But so much easier when it’s steps away rather that having to traipse to the nearest public loo or to find a rock or bush
- delicious and plentiful food (huge and varied breakfast including toast, fruits, pancakes, omelettes, tea / coffee etc then lunch - always a delicious soup first (eg courgette / butternut / cucumber / veggie usual served with something like toast or, my personal favourite, yellow lentil puffs followed by carbs of some kind (potatoes, rice, pasta) and meat (eg chicken or beef) as well as a selection of fresh veggies .. and always followed by fresh fruit.
Honestly, so much food - and catering for all needs eg veggie etc. oh and I forgot - coffee and popcorn as an afternoon snack and goodies for during a hike (eg apple juice / a cake). You definitely won’t go hungry and maybe will even come home with a recipe or two.
- experienced and knowledgeable guides with excellent English willing to share details surrounding history, culture, language, experience, nature) these are guys who know the mountain like the back of their hand (I kid you not - for the summit day I got up there using hands and poles (and painkillers!) whilst they strolled up with their hands in their pocket. Seriously incredible. You are in the best hands. We (my husband and I) both made it up the summit thanks to them.
- friendly, efficient, happy team. Amazing porters who zoom up and down the mountain carrying crazy amounts of goods yet always get there ahead of you and have the whole camp set up before you arrive (your tent, the loo, the eating tent, the cooking tent etc). Seriously impressive especially as they always do it with a smile on their face. Pole pole might be the motto for us but everything they did was quick and efficient… and so appreciated.
- above and beyond attitude - one guy in our group got very sick (altitude is not a nice beast!) and needed to get down. The rescue helicopter could not come due to weather so the team carried him down the mountain on a stretcher to the nearest camp where he could be picked up by ambulance. That’s a full size adult carried over rocky, steep, challenging ground at 4000m altitude for around 4 HOURS. This task was taken up without question and upon their return were still smiling. Nothing short of top class. These guys have my utmost respect.
Absolutely no complaints - 5 star rating. Go with them.

First time in tanzania and definitely not the last time
We just came back from our trip to Mount Kilimanjaro via Rongai route. It was an unbelievable experience.
Everything was well organized.
Throughout the trekking, the food that was provided exceeded our expectations (high variety of meals, also snacks for the hiking were daily provided). Every morning we were woken up with a cup of coffee in our tent. The whole team made us feel very comfortable and looked after our well-being.
After we reached Gilman’s point I started feeling my limits. Yitzhack didn't hesitate to give me his jacket even though it was terribly cold and windy. What a selflessness gesture!
Reaching Uhuru peak sets you free indeed. All of it would not be possible without Kilele-team, thanks to Yitzhack, Michael, the excellent cook and the rest of the team!
Thank you very much guys!

Journey of an Adventure
Equipment 4/5
Professionalism 5/5
Food 5/5 (ask for Magic Mike)
Tour design 4/5 (good acclimatization)
Personal 5/5 (Michael inspiring as guide)
I got altitude sickness for 6 days during the tour and lay flat one night with diarrhea and vomiting.
The team with their experience and the good food have pampered me within a day.
The ascent evening 22:30 start was indescribable. I felt like giving up 10x, but Michael motivated me and the moment of reaching the top - indescribable.

Once in the lifetime
I successfully climbed Mount Meru and Kilimandjaro in September with Freddy from Kilele. Booked through summiclimb. The organization by Kilele in Moshi and Arusha was absolutely perfect - many thanks to Rebecca!
I was lucky to be on the road alone with Freddy and the team, so I could walk my own pace and Freddy gave me great support. The acclimatization by climbing Mount Meru was certainly very helpful. The choice of route with Western Breach and Crater Camp was also spot on. Strenuous but because of that Freddy and I were alone on the roof of Africa in the afternoon of 10.09. It was absolutely incredible. We alone on the summit! Thousand thanks to you, Freddy.
My thanks also go to cook Nicolas, who always conjured up a great meal, and to the whole porter team!
It was a great and wonderful experience.

the icing on the cake
My uncle and I booked Kilele Climb via SummitClimb.
We received a warm welcome as soon as we arrived at the airport.
The four-day safari was absolutely breathtaking and very exciting. The driver was super nice and it was always just the three of us in the jeep.
We enjoyed the trekking very much (Swiss people usually love mountains (:
Everything was well organised and we always had wonderful food on the mountain. The summit day was the hardest day of all (12h hiking time) but we were successful.
Many thanks to the safari driver (Asman), the guides (Yitzhack, Frank & Douglas and the crew.
And many thanks to Rebecca for the organisation.
