My best day in Africa
My three friends and I had the most amazing experience thanks to Julius. His knowledge is endless, very profesional and always one step ahead of all our needs.
We spend one day on a safari and all I can say is I can not wait to go back to Kenia and do it all over again. Thank you Julius for giving us the best day of our holiday.

Best safari ever! I would book with this company again!
I arrived in Nairobi and at my hotel where I was met by my guide Jason. I can't say enough about how Wasili Kenya Safari company handled my booking and went above and beyond in every way possible. From my initial contact with the company to my drop off at the airport for my return home, the trip was flawless.
Jason who was so knowledgeable and hilarious took me on a 6 day safari that started in Nairobi to Masai Mara for two nights at Sarova Mara Game Lodge (luxury tented camps), Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha staying at the Sawela Lodge (very beautiful lodge) for one night Naivasha to Amboseli for two nights at AA lodge.
Every place I stayed, I thought well this can't be any better and then we would head to our next lodge and I would be happier and happier. These stays were amazing, the food fantastic and the staff wonderful.
I saw the "Big Five" animals that everyone wants to see in Africa, Jason took me to the evening spot in Amboseli to see the elephants coming in to drink at dusk. I sat on my deck of the luxury tent in the morning, drinking my coffee and hear the lions roar and seeing giraffes walk by, and saw rhinos and their babies walking down a road less then 5 feet from me. Their was something different at every National Park. To say this experience was amazing, or magical is just an understatement, the words don't explain the feeling of being in Africa.
I owe all of this to Wasili and Jason, they made this trip so very special and I can not wait to come back to enjoy more.

Julius Is honestly reliable and flexible. One of the best guides I’ve had in my travels
Let me start with saying I am usually too lazy to complete reviews. There have been good guides and tours, but I figure I will get to it later. Second I travel a lot, 7 continents and 74 countries and counting. I book a lot of tours to see the sites in a fast and efficient manner. That said this was the best. My man Julius, I don’t know what more I can say.
First Julius was super flexible and HONEST which seems a given but trust me is not. If you ever book tours you will know about the kick back waste your time hustles and the extreme tip hustles. None of that here. He gave me an agenda of things we were to see and flexed it to meet my custom needs and desires.
He was prompt to pick me up when he said he would and more importantly he scheduled around local events so we would have enough time to do what we needed. From there it was just he and I on the open road all day. We made it to both lakes and parks and saw more than expected. He networked with the other drivers

Julius is a great guide with a good sense of humor, enormous knowledge, great charisma and his heart
The safari with Julius was a great experience. Although I was late, Julius waited for me. We were in Nairobi National Park where Julius showed a good eye for spotting animals. Coupled with his knowledge of flora and fauna it made this trip a very enjoyable experience. Julius made sure that I could see as much as possible, he is also a great person, very helpful and a good person to talk to, even outside of his guide activities. I'm glad I got him as a guide

Great day trip to Amboseli Park from Nairobi
What a great day! The driver / guide, Boni, was excellent. He was both a very safe driver and a knowledgeable game guide. It was a long day (early start at 5am, back to hotel by 7.30pm), but well worth it if you don't have longer to spend. As my first safari experience it was great and left me wanting to go for longer with the family. Very good communication with Wasili Kenya Safaris.

Great day in Nairobi NP with Julius
We had a wonderfull day in Nairobi NP. Our guide Julius was waiting for us at airport. He told us a lot of fact of the animals and was a great driver. We saw a lot of animals like lions, rhino, crocodiles, antilops, giraffe and even a snake. We would defenetly recommend a safari with Wasili! Hope to come again someday!

Top Notch Tour Experience
I had an excellent 5 star experience on my day trip to Amboseli National Park. My tour guide, Julius, was simply remarkable. Julius was punctual, drove responsibly throughout the return 4-hr drive, the vehicle was clean and Julius came well-equipped for the day with water and a pair of binoculars. Julius suggested an earlier start and I’m glad that I made the sacrifice because I got the opportunity to see cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, herds of wildebeasts, buffalos, hippos, hyenas, other antelopes, pink flamingos, and we even visited a Masai village. Throughout the trip Julius shared interesting facts about Kenya, the animals and interesting sites. The views in Amboseli National Park were absolutely stunning from the volcanic hill and it was worth the 5-7 min walk. To top off the trip, we had a luxurious lunch at the Amboseli Serena Safari lounge before heading to the Masai village and then back to Nairobi. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and I highly recommend Julius a safe and ethical tour guide.

A long but fulfilling day!
A highly recommended trip from Nairobi, especially if the overnight stay is above budget. Prepare for a long day, though. Our tour lasted just over 15 hours from pickup (5am) to drop off (8:15pm). This includes about 9 hours of driving, 1 hour for lunch, and 5 hours of game drives in the park.
Our guide was Julius and he was excellent. Punctual, friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable, Julius made the long day really enjoyable.
Many go to Amboseli to see views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, and we were lucky enough to faintly see it’s peak before it became enshrouded in clouds. Many people also come to Amboseli to see the elephants, and we saw about 20 on our trip. Other animals we saw included: zebra, antelope, gnu (wildebeest), elephants, hippos, hyena,a lion far away, gazelles, ostrich, vultures, osprey, water buck, Buffalo, and giraffe.
Lunch at the lodge is not included but is an all you can eat buffet that is quite good for 25,000 shilling (roughy $20) plus drinks. It’s worth it because otherwise there’s no food for 15 hours so treat yourself. Also note the tour price doesn’t Include the entrance fee to the park ($70).
This company was communicative and friendly, and Julius was absolutely great to spend the day with. He even shared some pics with me and answered questions via WhatsApp about other things to do in Kenya and gave advice on other tours I was taking.

One of the best days of my life
I will never forget this weekend in my entire life. The drive passed super quick because we had many interesting discussions about Kenya, religion, National and international politics, health, animals and Netflix series. Julius is a funny, responsible guide who will certainly match all your expectations. You want to do budget (like me), he will certainly do best to get most out of it. We stayed in Serena (which was not really budget yeah BUT the best choice!!). It is within the National park so you have more time to do game driving in the evening and that tip from Julius was worth more than words could express. In the evening the sky cleared and we had a wonderful view on Kilimanjaro and even spotted a Lion that came out in the cooler evening sun. While most other tourists had to be outside of the park we saw all the bucket list animals - a lion, a hippo that grassed outside the water and super close to the road, and even a nocturnal African hare!!
Then we had a beer (that we bought before to save some coins) in the garden and finished our discussions.
The next morning the Kilimanjaro was as clear visible as possible (another pro of sleeping in the National park is the magical early morning view on Kilimanjaro!). We saw so many elephants and got the pictures that everyone wants: Mama and Baby elephant in front of the Kilimanjaro.
The visit at a Maasai village was equally informative and fun. I learned how to dance, pray and make a fire. I also had an inspiring discussion about climate change and maternal health.
So overall I had one of the best days of my life - Not least because of the insanely great guide, whose honest passion for animals is contagious and spreads pure joy and gratitude.

Use this company for an amazing experience
Just back from 10 days holiday with Wasili and they were perfect throughout the the whole process and helped us have the holiday of a lifetime. Julius was friendly and welcoming, answering all our questions and tailoring the holiday for us with some great recommendations on how best to spend our time in Kenya.
Planning and booking was straightforward and very clear about what was included, such as meals and airport transfer etc. We had a vague idea of what we wanted to do and Julius was quick to respond to all our emails with an initial plan and then adapted as we wished. The end result was competitively priced and suited to our budget.
The trip itself all went smoothly, our guide Jasan was amazing. He was so full of knowledge about all animals large and small and Kenyan people and culture. He had a lot of local knowledge and contacts to make sure we saw all the animals we wanted to during our trip. The van was everything you needed, a 4x4 ready for the roads and a pop up roof ready for the safari. Unlike many others, this was a private tour so no sharing a car with strangers. Jasan looked after us the whole time and made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout.
We went to Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha & Amboseli. I would also recommend this particular route as it gave such a great variety.
Thank you again Julius and Jasan we will always treasure the memories of our time together.
