Amazing safari (Organization, itinenary, guide, cook)
We spent 3 amazing days with Omar and Khamis, the cook, they were the best! Omar is fun, nice and always drove us to the best spots to see the big 5 and way more! He was really engaged to make us spend the best days of our life. Moreover, the food during all the trip was really great and diverse.

Good
Safari was well organised and very reliable. What makes most of the experience are the cook and the guide. Our guide, Omar, was the best guide I’ve had so far. He makes travelers’ experience at the top of his priorities and will do everything he can to make the experience the best it can be (very good at spotting animals, getting there quickly for the clients to see as much as possible). Omar allowed us to see the big 5 and so much more. Khamis was an exceptional cook with very good skills, I didn’t expect to eat so well through the safari.

Incredible
Telly is a great tour agency. The price is right and the communication was great.
Everything was discussed via WhatsApp and the day before the first excursion Mohamed came to our hotel to explain how the excursion would be.
My husband and I did a day hike on Kilimanjaro, we visited Mount Moru waterfalls and we did the city tour of Arusha.
The guide Oscar was amazing, he made us feel super comfortable and he was very knowledgeable about all the places we went.
When I come back, I will definitely contact them again.
It was all amazing!

Very knowledgeable, kind, and personable.
We did the day hike of Kilimanjaro. The day prior, the manager and guide came to our hotel to give us information and we left early the next morning. The guide was very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to have around. Everyone was extremely communicative, the price was extremely fair, the company is very reliable, and I felt extremely happy at the end.

Omar was knowledgeable, professional, kind, perceptive, and a joy to spend time with.
Experience of a life time! My husband and I booked with Telly Africa Safaris for a 2 night 3 day safari and we are thoroughly impressed.
We are from America and I was nervous about booking a trip so far from home. I was worried about the legitimacy, safety, and finding a worth while trip for a reasonable price. We did all the research, looked at all the reviews and prices, and I’m telling you this is the place to book.
Omar was our guide and he was exactly what I would want in a tour guide! He knew all the great places to show us the animals. He was very perceptive to what we wanted to do while providing his professional opinion on situations (ie-when to wake up and where to go to see the most beautiful sunrise, when and how long to stay at certain view points), he welcomed questions, was a joy to spend 3 days with, AND he was previously a photographer before he was a tour guide so it felt like we got a huge deal getting him as our guide.
We saw all of the Big 5! The lions, buffalo, leopard, rhino, and elephant.
The sleeping and eating accommodations far exceeded my expectations. Our first night on the safari we slept in the fanciest tent there ever was. There was the most comfortable bed, electricity and running water! The second night we stayed at the rhino lodge and they had a very cozy room with a fire place ready for us. Our meals were healthy and very tasty, and always had multiple options. I always ate a little of everything because it was so good.
This tour has the best value at the cheapest price. It was overwhelming comparing all the different safari packages trying to pick a nice one but not spend a fortune. This tour is where you will find the biggest bang for your buck. I would not pick a safari from Asilia safari, Andbeyond safari, or Nomad Tanzania because they are 3x as much and will provide the same experience. They may have more reviews and a larger social media following but you’re paying extra for the branding not for a better safari experience. (I know this because we ate, slept, and visited the same areas throughout our trip.)
Like I said before, I was worried about feeling safe and I just want to reiterate how fortunate I feel to have gotten Omar as our guide. I’m sure the others are good too, but I can’t imagine that they will take care of you as well as he took care of us. He taught us about the tsetse fly the first time we had a fly in our Jeep and he taught us about how Buffalo will charge at a car when a Buffalo looked like it might after we were driving away. He taught us things at the perfect time so we always felt educated and at ease. We ask a lot of questions, and we were very pleased with how much he knew about all the animals. He taught us so much! As well as educating us on our trip, he also had a keen skill of reading situations and perceiving what we wanted without us saying much. He asked us if we wanted to eat when we started to get hungry and he asked us if we wanted to visit the shops when we passed by. He checked in with us often, talked to us when we wanted to talk, and was quiet when we wanted to rest. He probably gained this good intuition of caring for others by being a good husband and raising his 10 children. We are a big fan of Omar. I even lost my bag, realized it 3 1/2 hours after we drove away from the park and he contacted many different people until he found someone to bring it to us!! He can also imitate all the animal sounds very well, which was very fun and amusing.
Seeing the animals in their natural habitat was an amazing experience that everyone should have in their life time, and the person that aids you in that journey will either take away from the experience or add to it, so I encourage you to be picky with the person you choose.
3 days, 2 nights was perfect for us. We were able to see so many different animals in multiple different locations. I think anything less than 3 days might feel like you didn’t get enough time, but anything more might feel like over kill. 3 days, 2 nights felt like a sweet spot. I also feel like this has a lot to do with the time of year you visit. If you visit during the busy season (June-October) you might want to stay a day or two longer, so you have more opportunity to see all the animals. It’s best to do things like this during the off season because there are far less people out and the animals are more comfortable and active with less people. We were able to see elephants mating, lion cubs and baby monkeys. I feel like this time of year around April is perfect. May is probably great too, so I would book this tour with Omar soon. You will not regret it!!

Excellent from start to finish
After countless hours of reading reviews/research into multiple tour operators we decided to book with Telly Africa safaris, we were not disappointed. There was great communication from the initial booking process whilst still in England to the days running up to our trip whilst at our hotel in Zanzibar, everything went exactly as described in our itinerary. Our point of contact was Mohamed and was always on the end of the phone should we need him.
The safari itself was amazing we spent two days in the Seringeti and one day at the Ngorongoro crater. Our driver/ guide, Mtinangi was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, he had a deep understanding of nature and could answer any questions we had, he made the whole trip a wonderful experience.
The accommodation was also outstanding we stayed at Into wild Africa on the first night, a tented camp in the middle of the Seringeti. Lying in bed at night listening to lions and hyenas in the distance was incredible. On the second night we stayed at Ngorongoro serana safari Lodge this was also incredible.
All in all a wonderful tour that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Amazing and unforgettable experience
Safari with Telly Africa is my best experience ever. Everything was perfectly organized, our guide did everything for us to see as much animals as possible. Thank you so much. I will never forget about it.
We had experienced guide and saw many animals
I really enjoyed safari with Telly due to great value for money.
First we did safari in Kenya in Amboseli park staying at the AA lounge. The park is unique by its view on Killimangaro, so the scenery was beautiful. We saw many animals such as elephants, giraffes, gazellas, zebras, hyenas and lions.
The accomodation was in big tents, clean and comfortable.
Secondly we visited Tarangire park - my favourite with many animals on small area. We saw there also cheetah chasing impalas.
The third park was Serengeti where we saw mainly lions, but also leopard.
We finished our "big 5" camera hunt in Ngoro Ngoro where we saw rhino.
Today we finished our safari in Lake Manyara.
In Serengeti and Ngoro Ngoro we were sleeping in tents in the park so we could enjoy sunrise and sunset with wild animals such as elephant, anthelope and hyena - everything supervised by the experienced guide, so it wasn't dangerous.
The tour operator had its own cook, so even in wild we could enjoy different cooked meal every day.
The cook and the tour guides were experienced. The guides were able to reply all our questions and one of them- Aron very helpful as we had some extra requests where we wanted to go outside of the agreed tour- e.g. Massai market, souvenir shop, etc. Also he negotiated local prices at the bar for us.
I would recommend Telly to everyone.
