The best decision ever!!!
We almost didn't book with Telly Safari. Due to some miscommunication. And I'm so glad we waited and booked with them.
They took care of everything
Flights, accomodation, food, car, guide...
And everything was perfect!
It's our honeymoon and we're sorry to only have booked 4 days, 3 nights.
We went from Zanzibar to Seronera and it was amazing flying bush planes where the plane was the one chasing the zebras out of the runway 🤣🤣
When we got to Seronera, Aaron was waiting for us with an amazing Toyota ready to start our Safari
The car had everything. Confy pillows on the seats , water and coke in a mini fridge, binoculares for us to use and even power plugs to charge our phones if needed.
The open/close top was also a big plus to see the animals and take pictures.
We saw 4 of the big 5 (only the leopard was missing) and 5 of the ugly 5!!
It was amazing
We saw lion cubs, lionesses sleeping by the road, hippos sleeping and swimming, 2 black rhinos, warthog with babies, hiennas sleeping, chitah! A lot of giraffes!!
Aaron was an amazing guide! Always with a smile, an explanation and a lot of patience for all our questions and stops for pictures
The hotels booked by them were to die for!!
All of them uniques, with amazing rooms, the food was excellent and the staff was super friendly!
And they even made us small surprises for our honeymoon
We were sad to say goodbye to Aaron but we'll definitely be back for more days and we'll want Aaron again!

Fantastic!
I was afraid to book a safari through a company found online and that I knew nothing about
But I am very happy to have done so!
I booked the safari for newly weds daught er and son in law
And they lived every moment of it… the small plane that flew them to Serengueti, the car, the driver, the hotels, the safari itself… all!

Telly Safaris is a star in organizing the perfect tour to your wishes and unburden its customers.
From the very first contact, communication was extremely quick and efficient. The information provided very detailed. Even though this process is online, the approach by Telly was a personal one, where we felt comfortable with.
Even just before the safari started, Telly arranged a call to go through all what is needed. Staff is very friendly and understanding, and helping in finding solutions if needed.
During the tour, our dedicated driver and guide Aaron was the best! With his experience, patience and continuously checking on what we prefer, he provided us with a unique and unforgettable experience in the parks.
Everything was being taking care of, we could just focus on being there, enjoying and let us be guided.

Excellent service
We booked a one day tour with Telly African Safari from Zanzibar. Our experience with Telly African Safari was wonderful starting from booking enquiries Mr. Mohamed. He was very patient in answering all queries regarding the safari as we had our 5 year daughter also with us. Every single details were explained. Managing transport from hotel to the airport was super smooth. There’s always someone with us guiding till we boarded. After reaching the sanctuary Alpha was our guide. He was excellent in every aspect. My 5 year old enjoyed every bit of this safari experience. Alpha was so keen on spotting all animals for us and went out his way to make our experience unforgettable. Food was also good. Returning back to Zanzibar in evening as smooth as it could be.
All in all an amazing experience with Telly African Safari. Thank you so much to the whole team.

Trust me simply the best without hesitation and goes over and beyond expectations
1 DAY SAFARI SELOUS FROM ZANZIBAR
Where can I start. We found telly safaris on the site amongst many others.
When you contact any operator they hound you with information and pressure and all tell you in reviews they are better . Telly is completely different and more what I would expect if booking a trip back home. Haroun sent me the information of the trip and followed up with a no pressure video call. That was so reassuring . We planned the trip for my wife and three children to a detailed itinerary and again never did I feel pressure.
The day before our trip we had a family video call with Haroon explaining how our day would go and the names of everyone from the transfer to safari guide.
We opted for Selous Game Reserve with Michael out safari guide and what a day. We have been on several overnight safaris but there was nothing missed by doing the 1 day to be fair. We flew from Zanzibar.
Our guides are in touch with Haroon and Telly before hand and prepare for your arrival seemlessly. English was spoken really well but I was aware of others having different language guides.
Flights are small private planes .pilot was so friendly felt personal.
The landscapes around Lake Zalakela are amazing. Michael out guide knew all of the area so well which proved essential in daytime when animals sometimes want to rest.
We saw all the animals to fascinate us all elephants , hippos,lions , giraffes , wilder east amongst many many more.
I will always recommend Telly Safari to family and if time is limited please do consider their 1 day Selous package.

The experience was great. five stars for the guide, animals and as well as the environment. Tour guide was knowledgeable and did his best to see all major animals. Disclaimer: the trucks can potentially breakdown in the middle of the safari but they all work together to fix the problem.

Very efficient and professional service with attention to detail and 5 star customer care
We booked a one day fly in fly out safari as we were staying in Zanzibar. From the very first contact with TellyAfrica I could tell that they were going to be great people to deal with. Having been impressed already by the booking process and payment process, I was waiting to see how the actual day panned out. Well, we were not disappointed! With clockwork efficiency, we were picked up from our accommodation and taken to the airport, flown into Tanzania and before we knew it we were in our open jeep scouting for game! Elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, crocodiles, zebras, warthogs, Impala, monkeys, even a leopard were spotted at close range! There are usually lions too but these were having a day off it seemed!
I was really impressed by how we were treated and looked after and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending TellyAfrica Safaris.

Thorough, Fantastic and Knowledgable, we would highly recommend
We had an excellent experience with Telly Africa safaris. From the first point of contact, the trip organiser Catherine was extremely helpful, sending over a detailed itinerary so we knew exactly what to expect on the tour. She also provided a helpful checklist of everything we needed to organise on our side in order to be best equipped.
We chose the 4 day-3 night luxury safari and as part of this all our travel from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania (and back) was arranged for us which made our life a lot easier. We were on our honeymoon, and Catherine made sure to let the accommodations know this, who gave us some extra surprises during our stays.
The accommodations themselves were great, especially the signature Serengeti lodge (where you are immersed in the widlife) and the Oldeani mountain lodge (which is the definition of luxury).
And then onto our game driver, Omary. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and funny, making our experience extremely comfortable. He paid attention to all the small details, and even stopped at a road side shop to get my wife some sugar cane as she said it was her favourite snack.
With his expertise, we managed to capture 4 of the big 5 within the first 24 hours and all of the big 5 by the end of our trip. He was willing to take the extra risk to get us to the best viewpoints, and helped us to understand a lot more about the animals’ habits and characteristics. We would definitely recommend a trip with him if possible, and we would love to go with Telly Africa safaris again sometime in the future

Timely, experienced, and overall amazing!
Husband and I went with the luxury package due to it being our last big trip of the year. It did not disappoint! Every accommodation was breathtakingly beautiful. In addition to the fantastic accommodations, our tour guide, Aaron - was absolutely amazing! He was timely, well educated, and generally a good time. He truly made the experience everything we wanted and more. This was once in a lifetime experience. We will be back!
