Fantastic bucket list adventure!
We found Makaska through another couple who had toured with them. We found them fast, reliable and efficient in responding. They understood our needs re: the safari and it met all our wishes. Fredrick our tour guide was excellent. He was very passionate about his wildlife and was willing to share all his knowledge. His driving skills were superb, as well as safety concerns at all times. He was not one to go off reading as some guides did. His main trait was his wonderful personality. We were able to share lots of stories and laughter. We highly recommend Makasa and Frederick as your guide.

Everything was well planned.
Our guide, Humphrey, not only knew all the mammals and birds, but seemed to know at least half of the other company guides, as he talked to all of them. We saw an amazing number of animals, both mammals and birds (I'm a birder). Accommodations where all clean, staffs friendly and helpful, food was plentiful and good. Except for the horrible dirt roads, all else was worth it.

Superb honeymoon-experience in Tanzania and Zanzibar thanks to Makasa!
We had a great time in Tanzania and Zanzibar for our Honeymoon. Since we only had 10 days our program was packed which we asked for, the team of Makasa did a great job to arrange a wonderful trip for us which included highlights of the country, time to relax and magnificent accommodations. Makasa took into account our wishes and was flexible in changing the itinerary until we had a final proposal. We would definitely recommend Makasa if you consider a journey in Tanzania and Zanzibar.

Fantastic Safari in Tanzania
From the first email (until the last) our questions were answered quickly. Makasa went beyond our expectations with everything from booking the holiday to the tours, accommodation. Every attention to detail was met. We couldn't have been looked after better. We felt safe, throughout our time in Tanzania. By far the best holiday experience I've ever had. Almost all the time Excellent
Communications were all the time during the booking process excellent and accurate.
The hotels / camps we booked into met or even exceeded our expectations.
The safari tour was awesome. Our tour guide was self-confident and an excellent driver and never spoke on the cell phone when driving. We were shown all the animals you want to see as a layman in Tanzania.
The only little disappointment was when asking for seeing the Olduvai Gorge Museum regarding early human ancestors, our driver told that we have ´passed already and there is no time to turn back. Probably our fault not to point out beforehand our interest.
We can fully recommend Makasa for a memorable trip in Tanzania!

We expirienced nature as nature should be: from sunset to moonlight we saw en heard animals.
Makasa made a program that fits us perfectly with a very good guide who spoke very well english. We learnt to appriciate nature, but had also enough time to relax in perfect places alomg the jungle and in Zanzibar. It was a lifetime expericience.

Great experience and excellent guide!
We did a 9 day safari in the North of Tanzania, after that we stayed a couple of days in Zanzibar. Excellent guiding during the safaris (thanks Ali!). Lodges were all very good, beautiful scenery and good food and rooms. The booking process went smooth with a lot of attention for our needs, details and wishes (travelling with a 9 year old). We would highly recommend this smaller organization.

King is very involved and interested, that is very nice.
King has meant that we have experienced a safari with many beautiful moments and memories.
The accomodations were all top. Each location had its own peculiarities. But they were all fine.
Everywhere people are super nice and very welcoming.
We look back on a wonderful holiday with some nostalgia for Tanzania
