Superb honeymoon-experience in Tanzania and Zanzibar thanks to Makasa!
We had a great time in Tanzania and Zanzibar for our Honeymoon. Since we only had 10 days our program was packed which we asked for, the team of Makasa did a great job to arrange a wonderful trip for us which included highlights of the country, time to relax and magnificent accommodations. Makasa took into account our wishes and was flexible in changing the itinerary until we had a final proposal. We would definitely recommend Makasa if you consider a journey in Tanzania and Zanzibar.

Fantastic Safari in Tanzania
From the first email (until the last) our questions were answered quickly. Makasa went beyond our expectations with everything from booking the holiday to the tours, accommodation. Every attention to detail was met. We couldn't have been looked after better. We felt safe, throughout our time in Tanzania. By far the best holiday experience I've ever had. Almost all the time Excellent
Communications were all the time during the booking process excellent and accurate.
The hotels / camps we booked into met or even exceeded our expectations.
The safari tour was awesome. Our tour guide was self-confident and an excellent driver and never spoke on the cell phone when driving. We were shown all the animals you want to see as a layman in Tanzania.
The only little disappointment was when asking for seeing the Olduvai Gorge Museum regarding early human ancestors, our driver told that we have ´passed already and there is no time to turn back. Probably our fault not to point out beforehand our interest.
We can fully recommend Makasa for a memorable trip in Tanzania!

We expirienced nature as nature should be: from sunset to moonlight we saw en heard animals.
Makasa made a program that fits us perfectly with a very good guide who spoke very well english. We learnt to appriciate nature, but had also enough time to relax in perfect places alomg the jungle and in Zanzibar. It was a lifetime expericience.

Great experience and excellent guide!
We did a 9 day safari in the North of Tanzania, after that we stayed a couple of days in Zanzibar. Excellent guiding during the safaris (thanks Ali!). Lodges were all very good, beautiful scenery and good food and rooms. The booking process went smooth with a lot of attention for our needs, details and wishes (travelling with a 9 year old). We would highly recommend this smaller organization.

King is very involved and interested, that is very nice.
King has meant that we have experienced a safari with many beautiful moments and memories.
The accomodations were all top. Each location had its own peculiarities. But they were all fine.
Everywhere people are super nice and very welcoming.
We look back on a wonderful holiday with some nostalgia for Tanzania

This was a trip of a lifetime for our family!
Makasa was very professional and quick in all transactions. We had to tweek our dates several times and they were quick and happy to comply. Our driver was great! Kalebi became part of our family during our twelve days in Tanzania. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the animals! He truly seemed to love his job! All of our accommodations were better than we even expected. From our initial pick up at the airport, safari days, hotel accommodations, driver, drop off at airport at the end- every detail was well thought out and planned.

A perfect fit safari and golftrip
I found it a fantastic travel experience, in which I have seen many beautiful animals in the untouched nature. Great to have combined that with a few nice rounds of golf. The great thing about booking a trip through MAKASA is that you can put together your program yourself. They are a small, independent tour operator, with roots in the Netherlands; they organize trips for duo's, families and small travel groups, with consultation of the travel time and the available budget.

The Makasa Safari in Tanzania : an expirience I will never forget
I can say nothing else but everything was excellent : the organisation, the safari trips, the camps, the meals , the pick nicks , the jeep ....
I would like to say special thanks to our guide, David, for his excellent driving, his shared knowledge about the animals and the landscape, his endless patient while we were taking photographs and videos, his suggestions......

Excellent safari! Highly recommended.
In February we made a safari with Makasa. From the beginning till the end it was fantastic. The safari itself, but also the service, the equipment, the communication and the organisation were beyond our expectations. In planning the trip they were very sensitive to our expectations and possibilities. Our guide Frederick taught us a lot about the annimals and the ecosystem and he managed the trip in an excellent way, so we have tremendously enjoyed the wildlife.
