Unique experience
We were one of the first tourists to do a safari with the Covid-19 situation. When we arrived in August we noticed how quiet it was at the airport and the hotels. The driver from Sunset made us feel welcome right away and although we were a bit worried we were happy to be in Tanzania. It truly was a unique experience. There were only few cars in the parks which gave us the best views and a lot of ‘alone time’ with the wildlife. In the lodges the service was better than ever. The staff was taking such good care of us. I am happy we did the safari. I will never forget! Thank you Sunset Adventure for taking us.

Amazing Christmas holiday!
Last year l booked a Christmas safari for myself and my young children and what a life changing journey it was! Our guide Omary was always happy and full of knowledge and he went above and beyond for my kids - no request was too hard for him. I wanted a slower pace so booked a 7 day tour and it was amazing. We saw so many animals, met so many people and had the Christmas of a life time! We loved the Sound of Silence Tented Lodge in the Serengeti National Park and dream about going back. Thank you Sunset Adventure Safari for a fantastic Christmas holiday.

Our dream came through!
Before our departure we made a schedule with Leona. She listened to our wishes and made the perfect safari itinerary for us. At a fair price. In Tanzania our guide Patrick and cook Isack took such good care of us. After seven days it felt like they were family. And we saw the big 5!
We were lucky to be able to travel just before the Covid-19 happened. And we hope many people will book a safari here as soon as they can. Because we have so many memories and beautiful pictures thanks to the Sunset Adventure team. We will never forget!

Safari January 2020
We’re happy we did this safari before Covid-19 happened. It was such an amazing experience. All communication before departure was well handled and everything was clearly explained to us. When our family arrived at Kilimanjaro airport we were picked up by Elemes and our kids immediately connected with him. We had a wonderful 6 day safari to Tarangirer, Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongroro. The safari went smooth and Elemes really knew how to spot the animals. In Serengeti we got a flat tyre but luckily it did not take more than 30 minutes to fix it. What we loved the most was waking up at Rhino lodge while the zebras were just 20 meters away from us. After safari we spent another week on Zanzibar. I definitely recommend to add some relaxing days because safari can be quite exhausting, especially for kids. It was the perfect combination of bush and beach.

We’ll be back!
We look back at an amazing safari. We had to shorten our trip because our flights had changed but nevertheless we had a great trip. Our guide Omari was very kind and he knew so much about the parks and animals. Our cook Isack was a master chef. His food was amazing and so much better than in the hotels. We enjoyed every day to the limit and we’ll make sure to come back in the near future to explore more of this beautiful country and friendly people.

Very helpful touroperator!
We made a wonderful safari with Sunset Adventure Safaris. Their response was quick and all our questions were answered, and we had many questions because this was our first safari. Eventually we chose for a camping/lodge safari to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. We loved Migombani campsite near Lake Manyara! We went to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro with guide Patrick. He has eagle eyes, we saw so many animals because of him! He also knows a lot, he is a driving encyclopedia! We definitely want to come back for another safari! Thank you very much Sunset Adventure Safaris!

Fantastic experience
We did a 5 day camping safari and it was really fantastic. We loved our guide Ben, he showed us the best places to spot the animals. Sleeping in the parks was so adventurous. I thought it would be a bit scary bus i loved it. Highly recommended!

As a family holiday we will never forget.
Definitely a family holiday we will never forget. It was a bit stressful with all the testing but luckily all went well. When we arrived Sele was waiting for us at the airport and from that moment we could relax. We had a wonderful safari. Our kids are 8 and 11 years old and it was their first time in Africa. They were amazed by all the animals we saw. So many elephants, giraffes and zebras. We even saw a few lions with their cubs. At the end of the day the kids loved to take a swim at the lodges. The service was really good and each night the lodge was different. The 6 days were to short! Thank you Sunset Team for the amazing experience.

Excellent
We did a 5 day camping safari to tarangire, ngorongoro crater and the serengeti. Our guide Omari took very good care of us, he saw so many animals we had not yet seen! We even saw the rhino in ngorongoro! Isack is a good chef and prepared nice food for us. 5 days was too short, we will definitely come back. Thank you Sunset Adventure Safari!

An astonishing safari to remeber for ever
We have had the most amazing experience with our safari organized by Sunset Adventures Safari. The safari started at lake Manyara after we had climbed the Kilimanjaro, we stayed there for 3 nights as this was advised by Emma. Afterwards we were really happy with this, since it was comfortable to stay at the same location for a couple nights with a good bed and hot shower. At lake Manyara we did 3 different types of safaris; hiking safari, night game drive and day game drive. We have spotted a lot of animals in just one day at lake Manyara. But walking through the park while noticing the animals are so close was a thrilling experience just as the night game drive when we stumbled on 5 lions on the hunt. However seeing the African animals is amazing, the most impressive experience was visiting the local tribes at lake Eyasi. It is wonderful to get to know their culture and way of living. The local a people are really friendly, make you feel welcome and most importantly very proud of their culture and eager to share it. After visiting the tribes the journey continued to the Ngorongoro crater, this is by far the best place to see a lot of different animals in big groups together. Although the best place according to us is the amazing Serengeti. To see prides of lions laying in the grass eating their prey at just 5 meters away really takes your breath away. At the Serengeti it is also possible to do a balloon safari and this is astonishing and definitely worth it. The view of the first rays of sun light shining over these endless planes is indescribable and also the animals are clearly visible while up in the air. The last day we exited the Serengeti through the western corridor, this is not visited by tourist that much. However it was just another beautiful part of an unforgettable safari. There is more vegetation here and therefore also a better change at spotting elephants. Which we saw in big numbers, even more than 20 together and they were big, really big!
We had a great time at our safari and therefore want to thank our guide Omary and cook Isak for making it possible. They made sure we went home with great stories and unforgettable memories. They were a great company during this safari and Isak lived up to his nickname Mister Delicious!
