Guides often lack adequate knowledge about wildlife and the environment
1/5

Tourist line safaris are known for providing subpar experiences that fall short of expectations. Guides often lack adequate knowledge of the wildlife and environment, leading to an uninformative experience. I noticed their guides were new. Vehicles are poorly maintained, making travel uncomfortable and sometimes unsafe. Customer service is also lacking, with complaints about rude or unresponsive staff common. Additionally, the housing provided is often below standard, with reports of unsanitary conditions and misleading descriptions. Overall, the company fails to deliver the quality and professionalism expected from a safari tour operator. Many customers feel that they are not getting good value for their money, making tourist line safaris a less than ideal choice for those looking for an unforgettable safari adventure.

Recently we had a tour with Trusit Line Safaris their service was not good at all we could not stay with their food. They were feeding us stale food and the accommodation was dirty. I advise to stay away from their services.

The tour operator is professional, thorough and well organized.

My lady and I took the tour called: "11-Days Kenya and Tanzania Wildlife Budget Safari" in November, 2023. The services provided were fantastic, especially for such a low-priced adventure. The price was far below anything else that I found in my on-line searching! We had so many animal encounters in both countries. The best three safaris in my opinion were: Masai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. In total, we photographed about 25 different wild animal species. Fiona, our contact at Tourist Line Safaris was very helpful in addressing any questions before and during our 11- day adventure. The accommodations were good considering the low cost options that we chose including tent camping in 3 locations in Tanzania. This is an excellent way to tour East Africa on a budget.

I travelled in Kenya and Tanzania in September/October 2023. I booked my Safari with Tourist Line Safaris.
Tourist Line is basically a tourist agency and not a safari company per se. This I hadn't realised initially. My Safari was sort of adjusted to my wishes which I liked a lot. I was tied to more than one groups, changing drivers and/cars frequently. I met many people during my trip, and it turns out out that there are really a lot of agencies like Tourist Line who collaborate with 'freelance' drivers. This was a bit chaotic at times, but everything worked out fine. I would generally expect better organisation and updates/instructions throughout my trip. Things in Tanzania were more obscure than I would have wanted, something that other people that I met during my trip experienced as well.
Generally everything worked fine for everyone in Kenya, but since most agencies are based in Kenya, the organisation is taken over by other agencies in Tanzania. This again I was not aware of. In the end everything worked fine and I did get to do everything I wanted. Tourist Line was very supportive during my trip and we solved any issues that arose. They also made me the most budget-friendly offer for this trip. I would recommend this agency for a Safari in Kenya and Tanzania, but be aware of the above.

Fiona and Lillian took care of me and my partner during this trip. We went to Kenya and Tanzania for a 10 day Safari tour. I think the National Parks we visited were AMAZING! We saw the big 5 in this trip and we were lucky to see a live hunt by lionesses and a live kill by hyenas. They are very accommodating and responsive and checked up on us throughout our trip. They were also open to suggestions and they really listen and put action what could be better. Our driver Eric was so nice and very knowledgeable. Super professional and patient. Saw 4 out of the 5 “big 5” with him. I’m very happy I booked with touristline safaris. Thank you so much!

Wonderful experience
4/5

We took 10 days of safaris which was perfect given the diversity of landscapes from one park to another!
Lots of animals and felines, both in Kenya and Tanzania.
We had a great driver in Kenya (Martin) who made the trip and the hours in the car that much more enjoyable.
Our trip manager, Fiona, was very responsive when we needed her.
Thank you for all these beautiful memories!

The best experience of my life!
5/5

None of this would have been possible if I hadn't found Tourist Line Safaris and Fiona.
We start by carrying out detailed planning in partnership with an agency, 6 months in advance. We were informed of all the steps, we immediately had access to the hotels and itineraries and what was and was not included in the proposal.
Fiona immediately made her phone number available and everything was coordinated via WhatsApp easily and without problems.
Our safari was with 3 friends, between 29/9 and 4/6. When we arrived in Nairobi, we already had the driver waiting to take us to the office to finalize the payment and answer our questions.
Having said that, we went to have breakfast and meet our guide and other vehicle companions, as we chose to do the safari in a vehicle with up to 7 people.
We know Kennedy, or Ken, as we affectionately call him. He was the best guide ever. He was always available for all our doubts and questions, always punctual and taking us to see this special country that was Kenya.
We started by visiting the Masai Mara natural reserve, where we stayed for 2 days, we went on to Naivasha, where we took a boat trip and a walk with wild animals right there just over 1 meter away. We headed to Lake Nakuro to see more species and finally ended up in Amboceli.
There was nothing that went less well. I will definitely come back and I will always recommend this service.
