My 40th Birthday in S. Africa
5/5

We were there for two days without knowing where to go to book Safaris. Where ever we went; oddly enough, no one was able to help us. Then we decided to stay at a backpacking place in Nelspruit and this is where our adventures began... with Crazy Dave and his Kruger Flexi Tours. Crazy Dave took time to get to know us and what we wanted in our vacation and we were more than please! So pleased that we put our trust in him than with any other company. Not only did Crazy Dave go out of his way but he really goes out of his way to earn your trust and made our vacation to S. Africa better than what we had expected. We ended up meeting with so many people and at times we would change our itinerary to be with the new people we met! Even after our Kruger Tour, Crazy Dave helped us in the other cities in S. Africa we were going to. Crazy Dave helped us, with booking and how to get there! Crazy Dave and his entire staff made my birthday a birthday to remember! Thank you Crazy Dave! *PANGOLIN! =)

A 2 day AWESOME experience!
5/5

It was a real surprise to find Kruger Flexi Tours, Dave and his staff are always there to advice you and make your stay unique!

We made a 2 days trip at the Kruger with Dave. We saw 4 out of the big 5 but the most amazing was the wild dogs!!! A hunt of this animals to the impalas and zebras!! Dave is an excellent guide! You learn a lot about the park with him! And the diner he prepares is delicious! The last day we also went to the Blyde Canyon and it was also a great experience!!!

Fantastic safari! Highly recommended!

If I could give more stars I would. Both guides on the tour (Dave and Mark) were very friendly, very knowledgeable and very accomodating. It was a real privilege to get to see Kruger with such passionate guides.

Aesome 3 Day Kruger Elephant Tour
4/5

The very experienced and motivated tour guide Dave puts all effort into the tour to make it unforgettable and fun. We did not only see the Big 5 in those 3 days but rather the Big 7 and lots of other animals - very awesome experience. The accomodation and food is good - can recommend it to anyone who wants to see as much as possible in Kruger.

Leopard tour : Game drives in the Kruger Park and Blyde River Canyon
5/5

Crazy Dave drove us 4 in an open car which was perfect to enjoy the landscapes and see animals ... We were very lucky to see in the same morning not only the big five but also a lot of different animals, especially giraffas and zebras !!! We went to a funny sunset game drive and enjoy a great dinner cooked by Dave himself. The next day we saw to the God's Window, the Blyde river canyon and the Three Rondavels, amazing landscapes ! Then we enjoyed tasty pancakes in Graskop ... 2 beautiful days, thanks Dave !!!!

Exellent tour!
5/5

Kruger Flexi Tours is perfect to visit the Kruger park or the Panarama Route. During a 3-day tour Dave will show you everything. He has great knowledge about the animals and the surroundings. He is humorous and he shows great interest in his guest. He's also a great cook! We saw the big 5, but also a lot of other animals. The Old Vis is a great place to stay before or after the tour. You can completely recharge yourself here to completely enjoy the tour or to process your safari experiences.

Fantastic Experience
5/5

We asked "Crazy Dave" to arrange a 4 day tour for us, 3 days in Kruger and one at Sabi Sand. We gave it 5 stars and would give more if we could. Dave accommodated all of our requests and personally guided us on an extraordinary trip.

Dave was an expert at finding animals and also at tailoring the tour to our interests (birds, wild dogs and more). We stayed at Old Vic, which is also run by Dave and Bella. From the moment we reached Nelspruit to the moment we left, Dave arranged everything. When we had trouble with the airline, he resolved that too. We were able to relax and enjoy the park and all of the animal sightings. The tour was the vacation of a lifetime and better than we ever would have expected.

We spent 2 days at Kruger and saw the big 5 and much more. We then went to Panorama and the scenic canyons which should not be missed. The tour ended with lunch at the "famous" Harrie's Pancakes. We asked Dave for an extra Day and traveled to a wild animal rehab center which we really enjoyed. Dave was flexible and accommodated whatever we wanted to see.

I highly recommend Kruger Flexi Tours

The wild dogs
5/5

It was a great fun to join Dave and the team at Kruger Flexi Tours on this particular safari. Dave's motivation and organisation was outstanding and we had a lot of fun. While we saw many different animals, birds, insects etc. during our trip, including the rare wild dogs which welcomed and farewelled us upon entering and leaving Kruger national park, the lions remained illusive. This is clearly no fault by the tour organiser as you just have to be at the right time at the right place and late summer with high grass and lots of water makes it more difficult to see all big, small and ugly fives. Otherwise, we have been taken good care of and we can certainly recommend this trip to others in the search of fun and animal watching.

Dave is the Master of Masters
5/5

My wife & I had an ordeal getting to Kruger because of weather conditions at the end of our flight from the USA. Nevertheless, when we got into Nelspruit airport it seemed evident things were changing. Dave met us inside the terminal with a broad grin and a hearty welcome. He barely allowed us to touch our bags, taking them himself to his truck & loading them in the back. He was courteous to my wife and gracious to us the whole time of the tour, which lasted two days.
When I first booked the tour I selected Kruger Flexi Tours because of their attitude. We had an unforgiving schedule and we needed assurances as to being able to meet our return plane. Most of the other tours we contacted were set in their schedules and, while accommodating to an extent, did not seem interested in our business. Dave on the other hand had always the same response: not a problem, we'll do it your way.
From the moment we entered the park Dave seemed to have a sense where to find the animals and within less than half an hour we'd seen about 15 different species including 3 of the big five. When we found a Sable, Dave was ecstatic, since their sightings are so rare. He bought us a delicious lunch and by the end of the afternoon drive we'd found over 20 mammals plus many birds & crocs. His guide books were always handy as were his binoculars and his knowledge of the local flora and fauna always turned out to be accurate.
That evening, as part of the tour, we enjoyed a night drive with the rangers. We we returned to the camp, Dave was at our cabin with the makings of a superb braai which included T-bones, cold beer, veggies grilled in foil and his own mushroom grill. Amarula settled the evening & Dave left to stay with a friend while my wife & I collapsed into the cabin.
The next morning we awoke to find Dave out back with breakfast ready for us: oatmeal, fruit and assorted bread with milk and juice. We started our day with another drive and he went right to the lions we had heard since dawn.
After Kruger, Dave took us to the majors around the area: Lisbon Falls, Bourke’s Luck Potholes & the Blyde Canyon and God’s Window after which we ate at Harrie’s Pancakes. Despite the fact that two busses of tourists were crowded into Harrie's, when the lady saw Dave come in she made room for us right away.
The trip back to Nelspruit was uneventful and got us to the airport in plenty of time for out flight.
The cost of the tour was a bargain and having Dave with his local knowledge and enthusiastic companionship made it the best tour my wife and I have had in years.
