Great experience on Kilimanjaro and Safari
We climbed Kilimanjaro with the Bushland Adventure Travel team and then went on safari with Bushland in Tarangiri Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. Everything was well organised from start to finish.
When we climbed Kilimanjaro, the campsites in the individual camps were carefully selected. At Barafu Camp in particular, at 4600 metres, we had an excellent, wind-protected spot. The summit experience was unique. The team accompanied us safely to the summit and back down again. The cook always prepared excellent meals. We were looked after attentively throughout the entire tour. We would like to thank the entire team for this unforgettable experience.
Vincent, our driver and guide on the safari, was our absolutely reliable and attentive companion. He drove carefully and safely on the road, which was very important to us. Vincent showed enormous patience on the difficult roads in the parks. He always had a keen instinct for being in the right place at the right time. He spotted the big cats in the tall grass that would have completely escaped our attention. We repeatedly saw a herd of elephants with babies and other animals crossing the road right in front of our vehicle. We will never forget these experiences.

Very professional, very caring.
Thirty four adults arrived from Canada to begin a twelve day safari, the majority of us, our first. Bushland met us at the airport and from that point until we were dropped back off at the airport to go home, we were in the best of hands. Didimus and his five drivers not only showed us all the animals we would ever want to see in Africa, but also educated us on their behaviours. The drives were wonderful and at all times of day to see the different behaviour of the animals.
I never imagined I would be in a lodge in Africa, listening to lions roar at night, hyenas cackle, yet feel safe!! We had a lot of laughs as a group and got to know one another. Many hours before and after dinners exchanging stories over a beverage.
People ask what my favourite animal was, but it is hard to compare. I would say the question should be what was your best sighting of the day, as each day brought something new.

Caring, well-organized company
An unforgettable trip with 34 others to Tanzania, my first safari! Beautiful, perfect pictures can be found online and on television in abundance but to personally be there when someone says “there’s elephants on the right”…our first sighting of any large animals, so close up, was exhilarating! Then the baby stepped out in front of us!! We were trying to be quiet-6 astonished women-yah right! It just got better from there. Shortly after, our first sighting of giraffes…what a day! Our guide, Cyril, with decades of experience was so patient with all our questions and so knowledgeable. He taught us “pole pole (po-lay) which is slowly slowly in Swahili -meaning we had to take our time and be patient to watch for animals.
The itinerary and pacing was great. Lots of early mornings but that’s often the best time to find the animals before it gets too hot. The food was good-buffets at the resorts with lots of choice. The picnic lunches were surprisingly varied and plentiful. Also plenty of bathroom stops!
Didimus and his team have a unique style making you feel you are travelling with friends. I would highly recommend doing a safari with Bushland Adventure Travel.
The Best
Just got home from a wonderful memorable safari with Bushland adventures. This was the 2nd Safari with my husband and we didn't think it would beat it but it sure did. Our guide Eldanus (Eli) was so knowledgeable and we got to see the big 5 including 29 lions thanks to him. He taught us a lot ..even little photo tricks!👍My favourite place was Mgunga Serengeti Camp and Maramboi tented lodge. Nothing will beat the Serengeti sunset with the sound of birds whilst watching giraffes, zebras and water buffalos in the distance. I would highly recommend Bushland adventures as everything was so well organised by Aleli and his team...Asante Sana

Bushland Adventure Travel is an amazing company to travel with.
I was on a trip with 34 other people. We had an amazing trip with Didimus owner and his other guides. They went over and above with care and service for all of us, they couldn't do enough for our group. We saw all the big 5 and other animals and birds every day. The lodges and hotel we stayed in were amazing, it was wonderful watching the animals go through our lodges in the parks. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable in everything we asked them about. We also got to visit a Maasai tribe's village, which was a wonderful experience. The Maasai tribe made us very welcoming and showed us all about their way of life. If you are looking for a great safari to go on, I would definitely recommend Bushland Adventure Travel, it was 5 star all the way for a very reasonable cost!

Excellent customer care from start to finish resulted in our best Vacation yet.
We joined a group of 33 others through our community travel club and booked our bucket list trip to Tanzania, a 12 day Safari with Bushland Adventure Travel. After a few very helpful meetings here in Calgary with Tera and her gang, we settled on our numbers, dates and itinerary, and we were on our way. From the minute we landed in Kilamanjaro to our drop off at the airport to head home we were in good hands with Didimus, our head guy/driver/translater and his crew. They looked after everything, from our daily game drives, with stops and picnic lunches, to our most excellent evening accommodations. Our jeep drivers/guides always found where the animals were, allowing us to not only capture the big 5, and so many other animals, but gave us opportunities to enjoy the landscapes and people of Tanzania. After a dusty game drive, it was so great to enjoy a cold one by the pool, and witness the endless sunsets over the Serengeti. Can't imagine a better Safari experience than this one, asante sana Bushland!!

Professional, friendly and informative.
We had a fantastic experience in Tanzania. The company took very good care of us and our driver Eric was very friendly and informative. We saw all the animals we wanted to see and the itinerary was perfect as it allowed us to see several different parks and animals and landscapes. Unforgettable Experience
It was my fourth and again a brilliantly organized and executed trip with Bushland with a program that was tailored to our wishes.
Right at the beginning we – a group of four -reached Kigoma by bush plane, in the far west of the country on the coast of Lake Tanganyika, to spend several days on foot in Gombe National Park observing chimpanzees. It was a great experience.
Our next destination was Ruaha National Park, with its mighty baobab trees, hills, river valleys full of palm trees and a large number of elephants, the great kudus and impala gazelles.
An amazing tour was the hike in Isimila in the canyon with its bizarrely shaped sandstone columns and walls.
The hike to the prehistoric rock paintings in Kolo and the visit to the small attached museum were equally impressive.
The last adventure of this trip was climbing Mt. Hanang - the fourth highest mountain in Tanzania, which was only possible thanks to the great planning and organization to provide the porters, the kitchen team, all camping gear and the local mountain guide.
All accommodations were chosen very carefully. The excellent food, the friendliness of the staff and the competent local guides exceeded all our expectations.
Our driver guides from Bushland always looked after our well-being, they had answers to all our questions and we felt completely safe during the whole safari, even when we had an adventurous feeling driving in the bush and during the strenuous more than 2700 km on the main road between Arusha-Ruaha-Arusha.
Extremely grateful for everything and with the most beautiful memories for ever we said goodbye to Bushland, the people we met and to Tanzania.

Bushland is simply the BEST!!!
This was one of the most memorable safaris I have experienced. Of special note is the number of cats—lions, leopards and cheetah we saw! Seeing part of the Wildabeest migration was an added bonus. I always appreciate the care Bushland gives to selecting well situated lodges and camps. Once again I will count the days until I can return to Tanzania.

Amazing days in Tanzania
Traveling to Tanzania in 2015 was our first trip to Afrika. Our guide Didimus from Bushland travel was very caring and through the whole journey we felt more than comfortable in his company and the company of his team.
We spent two weeks in the north eastern part of Tanzania. Besides wonderful gamedrives, Bushland travel organized perfect hiking tours (including an overnight stay in a tent close to a Maasai village) as well as visits at social projects and several local communities.
The accommodations were chosen carefully and were all above our expectations. The car was modern and comfortable. With our driver guide we felt completely safe during the whole safari, even when we had an adventurous feeling driving in the bush.
We had the chance to see and learn a lot about wildlife in Tanzania and about how people live there. Our guide had an answer to all our questions no matter what it was.
We do fully recommend Bushland Travel and hope that we can return soon for another amazing trip with Didimus and his colleagues.
