4-day AMAZING Safari
5/5

We've decided to do a 4-day Safari trip to Tanzania with only 1 month in advance, and we were very lucky to come across COLOURS AFRICA.

Tour operators: Mr. Godlistun and Mr. Hamisi were very helpful since the first minute. They gave us the best tips and recommendations for the trip according to our wishes and expectations. So we decided to do a private safari tour for the 2 of us. We also asked them to take care of transfers to/from airport, hotel night the day before/after Safari and all meals so we wouldn't have to worry about anything in Tanzania. We did a 5% downpayment via Pesapal and 95% on cash upon arrival but I guess any combination is possible. 5 STARS

Jeep: Big, clean, comfortable. 2 sets of binoculars, mini fridge, bottles of water... Also, 2 charging ports/USB available. 5 STARS

Driver: Very professional, good humour, good communication. Knew every detail of everything. AMAZING spotter, no animals escape his eagle-eyes (even better than me with binoculars). Definitely made these days superb. His name is BENJAMIN. 6 STARS.

Overall experience: Visited 3 parks in 4 days (Lake Manyara - Serengeti - Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater). All went very smoothly, saw dozens of elephants, lions, hyppos, giraffes, warthogs, and many leopards and cheetahs, as well as all the other more common species. Only missed out on Rhinos, even though all efforts were made! Stayed in 3 different lodges (Africa Safari Lake Manyara, Serengeti Safari lodge, Ngorongoro Rhino lodge) all very good.

AMAZING experience overall

Not only we recommend doing a Safari in Tanzania, we vividly recommend COLOURS AFRICA!!

beautiful experience
5/5

We did a 5 days safari and one day to the Kilimanjaro.
It was wonderful, we saw 4 of the big 5 (unfortunately we didn't see rhino).
We've been to the Serengeti, the Tarangire and to the Ngorongoro.
We spent 2 nights in tent it was a great experience.
The guide (Mandela) was really great and the chef (Tito) is a really really good cooker, it was the best food we eat in Tanzania!
We loved this safari experience.

The 2 guys from the agency are nice and professional.
The 1rst hotel (Arusha Inn hotel) is in the city center, it's really noisy, you should ask for another one.
But you can choose this agency without any hesitation.

Thank you so much for this beautiful experience!

Amazing experience!!!
5/5

We had an amazing experience in Tanzania thanks to Colours Africa Team. This trip was well beyond our expectations and is one of the most beautiful trip I've made so far!

Colours Africa helped us to plan our trip according to our expectations and wishes. They answered all our questions very quickly and perfectly organized our 7 days of travel according to our requests. We did 1 day hike kilimanjaro, 1 day Materuni village, watefalls and hotsprings and 5 days of safari - Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara. They picked us up from the airport and took care of us perfectly.

All our guides were young, friendly and very dynamic. They have a lot of knowledge and answered all our questions about fauna, flora, animals, landscapes and Tanzania. The cook prepared very good and varied dishes every day.

Thanks again to Francis, Emmanuel, Nasri, Lucas, Nathanael and Colours Africa Team! I can't recommend them highly enough!!

The best ones in Tanzania
5/5

We had an incredible experience with the company since we arrived to Tanzania. Every aspect of our trip was taken care of, they were waiting for us at the airport, make sure everything was alright at our hotel. Very punctual and attentive to our needs. We felt very safe with them! Our tour guide knew a lot not only about the safaris themselves but also gave us facts about the people, culture, etc. I totally recommend the tour!!

Our tour operator was the best. He organized everything for us and was always very responsive when we had questions. We had an amazing time. We visited Massai Village and also did Safari in Serengeti. Everything was provided to us. We loved the meals that were cooked for us by the chef. I highly recommend this tour operator.

Very helpful and friendly and always available for any questions we had.
5/5

My husband and I joined a four day tour with Colours of Africa and our experience was outstanding.
We received a full itinerary the moment we booked the tour, and were provided with driving services to and from the airport.
Hamisi, the operator was helpful and took into account requests we had such as vegan meals.
As well as being fun and super energetic, our tour guide Lukas was very professional and knowledgeable. We were lucky to be part of his tour as he was a great animal spotter and we got to see the whole great five including the very rare black rhino!
Another big plus was the food, we received a very satisfying breakfast, lunch and supper every day and the food was always hot and fresh thanks to the chef Libert.
For a budget priced tour it was defiantly a worth it experience, very recommended.

Incredible
5/5

Unbelievable. This experience is truly once in a lifetime and with Colors of Africa Tours it is exceptional: 4 days private safari.
We had the opportunity to see all the animals and that in perfect conditions thanks to our guide who became our friend at the end of the trip.
Everything was perfect, both on a human level and in terms of the planning which was concocted for us by my future wife and myself: a chef and a guide for a private safari. The dream.

We highly recommend this Safari experience with this company.
Benjamin (Guide) Collins (Chef) will be forever etched in our memory as well as the kindness of the managers of the company who did everything to facilitate our trip (Thank you Godlisten and Hamis).

Go there and with them, I promise you will have unique moments.

Great Safari & Kilimanjaro Hike
5/5

My friend and I did a 3-day safari and 1-day Mt. Kilimanjaro hike. The Colours Africa Tours & Safaris guys were great. They communicated throughout and even answered questions about other cities and our travel plans not related to the actual safari or hike. The experience was overall excellent. The 2 guys set up everything, secured us transportation to and from the airport, met us when we arrived at our hotel to explain everything, and met us again in between the safari and hike to explain that portion to us. They were nice, friendly, and took care of it all.

The safari was exactly what we expected, what they told us, and what we paid for: 3 days, 3 different parks, meals throughout, lodging, and a great safari guide that knew his stuff. The safari lunch was not just boxed meals; it was hot (as hot as it could be anyway after being prepared fresh in the morning and us eating in the afternoon), it was good (chicken, rice, pasta, utensils, etc.), and it included some beer and wine! The safari lodging was perfect for what it was: minimal, but private rooms at a basic hotel with hot water, showers, 3+ course dinners and breakfasts, and welcoming and engaging staff. The hike was also perfect for 2 relatively in shape guys that just wanted to be able to say we did a hike on Kilimanjaro: a little more than 8k up and 8k back for almost 11.5 miles of hiking over 5 hours, plus lunch before the descent back. The hiking guide was awesome; he knew his stuff, talked with us throughout, and kept us on the pace we needed to make sure we were back in time to catch our late afternoon flight.

The only small hiccup we experienced was with the lodging in between the safari and the hike. We've traveled a lot and stayed in some very basic accommodations—no problem. The hotel for this one night, though . . . uuuhhh . . . . It was extremely dirty, the hot water was not functioning, nor was the toilet (which spewed water out the pipe in the back), and the bathroom and place in general was just a trainwreck. Nevertheless, the Colors Africa guys were extremely responsive and apologetic, and vowed to work on that accommodation in the future.

For the money, this was worth it. I'd definitely recommend these guys!

Tips: (1) Be ready to be exhausted! It wouldn't seem like being in a jeep going through these parks all day is taxing, but oh is it! (2) Bring cash for tips—your safari guide; the cook who is making your breakfast, lunch, and dinners; the hiking guide; and driver. (3) Stay away from dark blue and black—wear neutral colors like tans, greens, or anything light—the flies are legit and the biting flies (tsetse) that carry African Sleeping Disease are no joke and are definitely attracted to the dark blue and black. (4) Have fun and remember: hakuna matata—polepole!
