The most amazing experience
We booked a 6-day private safari with Colours Africa for our honeymoon and it was the best part of our stay in Tanzania. Everything was very well organized, we just had to know what time to be ready in the morning and they took care of all the rest.
The lodges they picked for us were a dream, so beautiful, very clean and with very nice staff. All meals are included and the food is great, we loved that it was always local dishes. We'd have lunch at the conservation area everyday, the driver would have a picnic prepared and we liked that he never used disposable containers.
Last but not least, our driver, Benjamin, was just the best! spending a full week with him, we were afraid it would be awkward, but he is so nice and so much fun. He told us many intersting facts about animals and Tanzania, he is very experienced in game drive and knows the roads within the parks as the palm of his hand.
Thank you for making such a special life experience happen. We totally recommend them and they're totally reliable for organizing such kind of activity from abroad.

Benjamin was informative and took amazing pictures and videos with my binoculars and iPhone.
Our safari with Colours Africa Tours was amazing and our guide (Benjamin) was the best. He was informative, had a great eye seeing animals and took incredible pictures/videos with my binoculars and iPhone. We saw 4 of the big 5, with only the rhino that we didn’t see. Except for our first night lodging (a bad smell from the swampy location), the glamping sights were nice and all the workers were super friendly and helpful. I’d enthusiastically recommend CAT to any of my friends who were going to Tanzania on safari.

My husband & i have recently returned from our once in a lifetime holiday! Being in our 60s & after extensive research on tour companys we decided to use Colours Africa. We were not disappointed! The whole trip exceeded our expectations! Right from our first contact they have been incredible & put our minds at ease. Queries were responed to immediately & the whole trip was flawless! The lovely camps, the amazing quality of meals & a super comfortable jeep. The MD himself came to greet us on aur arrival which was very reassuring. Nasra has been incredible always replying to our queries immediately. A special thank you to our guide Benjemin! He was superb! So so knowledgeable, professional polite & an exceptional driver! He made our safari all the more special & we learnt so much from him. Always smiling & helpful! We got to experience everything on this safari thanks to Benjemin & his extensive knowledge. memories for life
We had a wonderful time with our guide Walter and our
cook Souley, both were just perfect and caring.
They did much more than expected, Walter is as good a driver as a guide
to find out animals, including the rarest of all, a rhino.
Lots of lions, elephants, giraffes, etc, etc.
Souley made a very good cuisine and out of this world crepes, even
better than in Brittany, the home of crepes!!
And much more, they are very friendly.
Congratulations to Colours Africa Tours for the no-fault holidays we could enjoy.

We had the BEST experience of our lives. Many thanks for Colour Africa and BENJAMIN our guidance tour.
Colours Africa was perfect since the very beggining. The communication works very well by email or Whatsapp. All the details were very clear, and they treated us VERY well. You can definetely rely on this agency.
We were on our honey moon and we highly recommend the PRIVATE TOUR, you will get so much privacy, confort and a 100% personalized tour which you provide to you the BEST pictures and experience. Picnics, lodges, hotels... there is no word to explain was perfect everything went.
Benjamin was our guidance tour and he is the best! He did everything to give us the best experience possible. He is a very nice person, who knew all the details about the animals and the savannah. He would even take the best pictures from my own cellphone. He is also a good driver and gave our space when needed. He teached us even to sign and a lot of words in Swahili. He definitely made our trip unforgettable and we highly recommend his service.
ASANTE SANA BENJAMIN AND COLOURS AFRICA!

Professional and reliable operator with 24/7 availability. Highly Recommended +++++++
We had 4 fantastic days with Benjamin as guide and Colin as Safari cook. Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti are beautiful landscapes. We could see many primates - especially in the Manyara National Park - and all the big five plus incredible numbers of gazelles, wildebeests and zebras on their migration. A large number of hippos and some crocodiles were also spotted. Benjamin is a cautious but very good driver and has extremely good eyes to find animals in any circumstances. We felt safe during the whole trip. Colin prepared delicious local foods. Such a safari is a life's experience, everyone should see it at least once.
Outstanding service, lifetime experience, highly recommended
We chose a 3 day safari trip, Day 1: Tarangire National Park, Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater, Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park. Simon was assigned our guide for all 3 days and we stayed overnight at Twiga lodge. We were greeted warmly by Godlisten at Arusha airport and met at the end of our trip (and dropped off at the airport). All parks were very different and each well worth a trip to, however it was the people that made the trip so amazing!
SIMON is an amazing 5* guide, not only is his subject knowledge excellent and totally up to date, but his knowledge and his interest extends beyond the safari animals to all of the surrounding nature. Theres rarely a question he cannot answer - and believe me we asked loads. When uncertain, he has the humility to admit that he doesn’t know and will research into it, returning quickly with an answer.
His genuine total respect for the animals and indeed the whole environment is impressive! What stands out most is his enthusiasm, sense of humour, love of the animals (they come first) and genuine love of his own profession.
We were treated like royalty by all staff, at Twiga Lodge, and they were so genuinely nice people. Rooms are clean - nice shower, clean sheets and towels - just what you want. We had been on safari all day. It was lovely to be greeted by the receptionist JACQUELINE, who showed us around. It was lovely to see the welcoming swimming pool and even nicer to be assigned our very own chef for the evening - FAUSTINE SONGA . The food was perfect, he cooked us the best soup we have both ever tasted / pumpkin soup, WOW! It is impossible (and we tired) to find a better Hotel to stay. Great hotel, excellent staff who are genuine and down to earth providing the best service, making you feel special! Give me Twiga (giraffe) lodge any day - just like the giraffe, they reach the highest standards.
Godlisten/ Colours Africa provide an exceptional service for a very reasonable price! We would unreservedly recommend them! 5*

Excellent and professional
I made a full enquiry on Web Reviews on Safari and Safari Providers. After talking with many,I decided to take the offer with Hamisi, the
Tour Operator of Colours Africa Tours. After agreeing on Whatsup on what we want, what we expect and the total price, 5% was paid and I received the Voucher.
The Safari its self was better than imagined. Throully life time experience, seeing the wild life so close and so real.
Hamisi sent a pickup car to airport , met us at his office and then from time to time asked if we are happy and everything was OK.
After the start of the tour, we agreed the other activities, like visit of the Masai Camp directly with the driver.
We had marvoulos time and feld safe at all the times.

Excellent in communication, customer service and overall satisfaction.
As a small group of three, we had been planning on going on a safari for about six months. We hadn’t done anything similar in the past and we were nervous about how to go about planning the excursion as well as the smaller day-to-day details. We did not want a deluxe safari so we aimed for a medium to low budget one instead. We went for the four-day option.
We contacted three separate companies (all registered with SafariBookings) and Colours Africa were the first ones to respond, almost immediately. They provided us with an itinerary illustrating the main locations and a daily breakdown of the whole trip. After discussing it as a group, we had tens of questions; from accommodation for the night before the safari, transportation, types of food available on the excursion, length of journey to the key areas, clothing, the camping sites and the lodges, the number of people the vehicles could fit and everything else in-between. Our main contact was Hamis, who replied promptly to all our questions even on weekends and sometimes very late at night.
On the actual safari, our driver and guide was Benjamin and our chef was Suleiman. The first had this amazing ability to spot animals hiding from (literally) a mile away while we were trying to spot them with binoculars. He knew the best places to view the animals and always listened to our requests, be it to stay at a spot longer to take photos or to explain certain animal behaviours.
I had the misfortune of being unwell for the first couple of days of the safari, having had an upset stomach from the flight to Tanzania. Suleiman (Sully) was aware and always took the time to cook a different meal for me so as not to upset my stomach any further. There were times when I could not resist his delicious cooking and tried a little of everything on the table. We were spoiled for choice. There was always a meat and a vegetarian dish, a carbohydrate as a side, salad and dessert both for lunch and for dinner. Breakfast was equally as appetizing and always included pancakes (crepes) which turned out to be the group’s go-to. Besides that, there was bread, coffee, tea, milk and juice.
Hamis visited us at the hotel the day before the safari to greet us and brief us on the details. He also came and visited me with Gotlisten, his business partner, to see how I was feeling after missing the first day of the safari due to my illness. The latter came to see us as a group upon our return to make sure we were satisfied and address any concerns or issues we may have had.
The overall experience (even for unwell me) was amazing and I would 100% do it again, maybe during the rainy season this time.
We went for Colours Africa mainly because of their pricing, flexibility, friendliness, promptness and speed in communication.

Amazing experience
This was our first time going to Africa, or on safari, and there were so many companies to choose from. We ended up choosing Colours Africa because we felt they were best responding to our questions. This turned out to be a great decision as honestly I can't fault them at all!
The safari was an amazing experience and all of the staff from Colours Africa were great. Obviously it's all about seeing the animals and our driver Benjamin was just incredible. His eyesight was something else, often seeing things while driving that we would then struggle to find with binoculars!
Our chef Suleiman was super friendly and we had hot meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day which were all really tasty.
One of our group was ill and we missed the first day. The owners came down to our hotel themselves to check how he was doing and arranged for us to catch up the next day.
Hopefully I have the chance to visit Tanzania again some day and I wouldn't think twice about booking with Colours Africa again.
