Great safari in Kenya!
We had the pleasure to travel around Kenya, on an amazing safari being accompanied by a professional and skilful guide and driver - Peter.
Daniel was really helpful and offered prompt replies to any question we had. Highly recommend for a memorable holiday!!

Awesome experience
Meektrails tours was awesome. We went with the budget option and their selection was great. We had a 4x4 vehicle, we fell safe in James hands as he drove and get close to the animals. I like that safety was a great concern to him. I liked that they worked with my budget. I will recommend this company to anyone.
Daniel was an expert, professional and personable
If you are up for adventure and a true African safari experience this is the safari for you. We saw more wildlife than I ever expected. Daniel spoke with in depth knowledge. Also, I felt that he made sure to make sure all of our needs were met.

Daniel was extremely knowledgeable as to where to go and educated us in all aspects of our Safari.
Daniel was an excellent guide showing us all of the animals during our Safari trip. His knowledge of the wildlife and where to locate them was extraordinary! Extremely kind and has a great sense of humor to boot.
Lodging location were great as well.
Highly recommend using Meektrail for your safari adventure!

Daniel was fantastic, friendly and very knowledgable
Our safari trip was perfect. Our guide knew where to find great sightings of wildlife throughout Masai Mara and Nakuru. We saw rare things such as three cheetahs on a hunt for zebra, lions in a mating ritual and so much more.the AA lodge was luxurious with beautiful tents and fine dining with a great bar for a cold drink after a rugged trail ride. The service there was second to none. The safaris are anything but meek. Daniel took us to some hard to reach places over extreme terrain. Adding to the experience was the travel from one park to the next. Rolling through the highlands and Rift Valley was a bonus that helps you fully experience the great country and people of Kenya. The Golden Palace Hotel in Nakuru provides a full immersion in the African Experience. All in all a wonderful trip.

Expert Guide
This was an experience of a lifetime. A mother/daughter trip we will always remember. Traveling from Arizona, USA.
We worked with Daniel on our travel dates and itinerary. We had 9 safari days and 4 beach days and enjoyed every minute of each.
Our safari time gave us the opportunity to see many animals. Including the Big 5 and the majestic lions, cheetahs and leopard.
Daniel was our guide and can say that his knowledge and expertise is outstanding. His familiarity of the areas we traveled to was advantageous. It gave us the opportunity to view so many beautiful creatures, landscape, culture. His patience for our many questions was appreciated.
All of the areas we traveled to and stayed at were superb. The food options were plenty and delicious. Stays very comfortable and service outstanding.
We traveled to Amboselli, Sweetwaters, Samburu, Naivasha Lake, Maasai Mara and Diani Beach.
We can confidently and highly recommend Meektrails Safari for your Kenya travel and safari needs. You will not be disappointed.

Outstanding safari. Professional, experienced, detail oriented company.
Excellent 9 day, 8 night safari visiting Amboseli, Ol Pejeta, Lake Naivasha, and Masai Mara in early June 2022. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 older children (early 20’s and late teens) from Southern California. From start to finish, Daniel was excellent. Our interests were wildlife viewing and photography and we were not disappointed. I highly, highly recommend Meektrails. See my full review for Meektrails in Trip Advisor.

A crew of professionals!
The safari was part of our honeymoon trip, and everything from start to finish was perfect. Months before the trip I have worked with Daniel on tailoring the itinerary and agreeing on the details. He was very responsive, and communication was easy.
Upon arriving to Nairobi we were greeted by Phylis, took a photo and were introduced to James who was going to be our driver and guide for the coming days. James is the nicest and most professional guy I’ve ever had on any kind of trip. He was responsive, patient to answer all of my many questions about the things we were seeing along the road and the animals on safari. James was punctual, kind and delivered everything that was promised. We’ve always felt safe with him driving us around, and I honestly couldn’t expect how smooth and punctual everything was going to be and according to plan. You can tell these guys are working hard to give you the best possible experience and it was super appreciated.
It was our honeymoon so Daniel recommended the best lodges to stay on the trip to get the best possible experience even beyond the wildlife. Sopa Lodge on Naivasha Lake and Sarova Lion Hill in Nakuru are pure luxury and completely justify the higher price tag.
The wildlife viewing was also great and thrilling. We managed to see 4 of the big 5 (except the elusive leopard), here I try to compile the a list:
Naivasha: zebra, antelopes, waterbugs, monkeys, hippoes, giraffes
Nakuru: zebra, wild boar, buffalo, flamingos (thousands of them), rhinos, hippoes, pelicans, lion
Masai Mara: zebra, wild boar, giraffe, hyena, lions (really close), elephants (a whole herd), wildebeest, hippoes, crocodile, meercats, and jackals
If you tell James which animals you are most interested in seeing, he will make an extra effort to try and find them (all vehicles in the parks have radio connection so they can notify each other where which animals have been spotted).
At the end of our trip, before dropping us off at our hotel in Nairobi, we’ve agreed with James to take us to the elephant sanctuary and giraffe center in Nairobi, and I would say especially the elephant sanctuary is an unmissable wildlife experience, but beware that tour needs to be booked in advance and visits are daily only between 11AM and noon.
Kenya is a wonderful country with wonderful people, and it was sad to say goo bye to James, and leave the amazing experiences we’ve had behind. I can not recommend the Meektrails crew enough to help you organize and take you for your safari trip in Kenya.
