Absolutely amazing experience!
Our 7 days / 6 nights Safari itinerary contained Tsavo national park, Lake Naivasha with boat and walking safari tour, Lake Nakuru reserve and Masai Mara.
Our guide Phillip fulfilled every expectations you could imagine. He was incredibly skilled at spotting wildlife and explaining to us all the details behind that animal. He has a wealth of knowledge and he also likes to play some trivia games with you while in the car.
We were lucky enough to see the Big Five - Phillip spotting skills were so amazing we got to see two leopards in two different parks. Also we got some rare findings as cheetah and a pack of African wild dogs!!!!
Victor, our booking consultant, was absolutely amazing. Communication was flawless, without any issues, and he helped us create a perfectly tailored itinerary.

Had an amazing time with Meektrails. Done a 7 day Kenyan safari to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Hell’s Gate and Masai Mara. I have personally recommended this exact tour to many people since returning home. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and knew all the best spots to see all the wildlife, it’s almost as if he had a 6th sense to know where the animals were. Amongst all the many animals we saw, the highlights were seeing over 100 elephants, very rare black rhino’s and we even saw a successful lion hunt on 2 warthogs. The accommodation was good and the food was so amazing at every place we stayed. I would also recommend getting the land cruiser upgrade as a minimum and, if you have time, a hot air balloon ride over the Masai Mara as an extra.

Unforgettable Safari Adventure with Lucas in September 2024
My girlfriend and I recently had the privilege of going on a safari adventure in Kenya with Lucas as our guide, and it was an experience we'll never forget! We visited four incredible national parks and game reserves, including Amboseli, Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Hell's Gate (Lake Naivasha). Lucas's expertise and passion for wildlife conservation made each stop memorable.
From the majestic views of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli to the endless plains of Maasai Mara, where we spotted the lion, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros, we were thrilled to see the Big Five (minus the elusive leopard, which remained a highlight of our trip). We were also thrilled to see the famous pink flamingos at Lake Nakuru, and the unique geological formations of Hell's Gate were a highlight.
Lucas's warm and engaging personality made us feel at ease throughout the trip. He was attentive to our needs, and his enthusiasm for the wildlife was infectious. We even visited a Maasai village and learned about their traditional way of life.
The tour was well-organized, with delicious meals and a focus on showcasing the best of Kenya's wildlife and culture. Overall, our safari adventure with Lucas was an unforgettable experience that we'll always treasure. If you're planning a trip to Kenya, I highly recommend Lucas as your guide - you won't be disappointed!

Absolute unforgettable Safari-experience
If you want to have an unforgettable, once in a lifetime safari-experience of Kenia, go to Meektrails. We had a 4-day trip for our honeymoon from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. The organization and communication worked perfect, we got picked up at our hotel and started the trip well prepared. Thanks to Paul for the great communication and organization upfront!
Thanks to our guide Josef, we found the perfect spots to see nearly every animal the kenyan wildlife will offer you. Hippo, Giraffe, Elephant, Pumba Lion, Cheeta…… Josef always found the best places to spot great animals and take some great shots. Also really interesting information about the history of kenya, the nowadays living and especially eating and specific information to plants and birds were provided by Josef.
Coming to the camps we were really flashed. Absolutely stunning tents in the wildness surrounded by great nature and also animals. We could see hippos or elephants directly from the dinner-table! Beneath great breakfast and dinner, Josef always found the best spots for lunch, sometimes directly in the wild under a shady tree.

We went through countless options before we chose Meektrails, for a 5 night, 6 day Safari through Kenya. Meektrails and our organiser William put our minds at ease. The night before I felt nervous & the second we met our Guide Onezmas we felt comfortable and immediately excited.
Each day Onezmas greeted us cheerily and over the 6 days he maintained professionalism, whilst also being warm and friendly with a great sense of humour. We felt like mates in no time.
If you can, ask for Onezmas. He went out of his way for us the whole time, he made sure that anything we asked for, we got to see. He knew the parks better than anyone and we quickly realised we were in the best of hands. We felt like we got the most well rounded Safari with once in a lifetime memories and experiences thanks to Onezmas and Meektrails.
We saw numerous other Meektrails tours along the way and realised we had chosen a great well-known company.
They had great touches, such as a safari hat, drink bottle, personalised jeeps, uniforms and more.
We saw the big 5, a family of cheetahs feeding on a gazelle, a lion praying on zebras, so many cubs, A kill in a tree, we got up close to all the different animals, and each camp we stayed at was better than the next. Meektrails makes sure you have the best options.

Fantastic, memorable and enjoyable
I originally saw a safari package with a well known high st travel agent and then I found Meektrails who were offering basically the same safari package but at half the price. I was nervous at first to book as the booking agent is done direct with the company based in Kenya. I can honestly say that Meektrails are a reputable and reliable company. Everything from the booking, transport, lodges, game drives and activities was fantastic. A special thankyou to our guide and driver for the week Joseph who made sure we had the best time. Joseph was very knowledgeable and friendly. Special thanks to William for arranging a special suprise treat for my mum's birthday. Highly recommend for a once-in-a-lifetime African safari experience
I recently had the pleasure of booking a once-in-a-lifetime African safari through Meektrails Safaris, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we reached out to inquire about safari options, Pauline was attentive, and eager to craft a tailored itinerary that fit our interests, budget, and timeline.
We wanted a mix of luxury lodges and authentic tented camps, with opportunities to see the Big Five, experience local culture, and relax at the end of the day. Pauline had created a perfect balance between adventure and comfort.
The guide cum driver Anthony during our safari was phenomenal. He was not only experts in wildlife spotting but also had deep knowledge of the ecosystems and the behaviors of animals. His ability to track elusive species like leopards and cheetahs was astonishing. He also prioritized ethical wildlife viewing, ensuring that we maintained a respectful distance from the animals and did not disturb their natural behaviors.
The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the wildlife. We saw everything from herds of elephants and prides of lions to rare sightings like black rhinos, wild cat & many birds. Even we saw the big 5 several times.
The accommodations provided by the agency exceeded our expectations. From luxury lodges nestled in the Masai Mara to intimate camp with the view of Mt. Kilimanjaro , each place had its unique charm. Some of the lodges offered breathtaking views, delicious meals, excellent service and an immersive experience in the heart of nature.
We were provided a 4*4 Land Cruiser for both of us which was comfortable enough. Every detail was taken care of. We felt safe and well-supported throughout the trip. Thanks to Pauline & Anthony!
