unforgettable and perfect adventure
Our recent trip to Kenya with Meektrails was truly unforgettable and a perfect adventure for my 11 - year - old son and me. It was an amazing experience that exceeded all our expectations.
Victor Kimotho from Meektrails was fantastic to work with. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He helped us plan the perfect itinerary and answered all our questions in detail. His attention to our needs made the whole process so smooth.
Our driver, Simon, was outstanding. He was not only a skilled driver but also incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife. He made sure we saw all the BIG GIVE and so much more. His ability to spot animals and his understanding of their behavior were truly impressive. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. We felt completely safe with him, even on the bumpy roads in the national parks.
The lodges arranged by Meektrails were excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. Waking up to the sounds of the African wilderness and seeing animals right outside our lodge was an incredible experience.
I can't recommend Meektrails highly enough. They made our trip to Kenya a dream come true.

Best company for Safari in Kenya
When some time passed and all our feelings calmed down, it is time to say a lot of beautiful words about the meektrails company. First of all thank you Peris for making our honeymoon absolutely amazing. Smooth communication like with friend, everything was organised perfectly and we were informed about all the details. Two hotels were upgraded and left unforgetable memories. Second, our amazing guide Brother Sam. He is a very good driver, we felt safe with him. He knows a lot about animals and life in Kenya. The best safari company
A top level experience! When we first decided we wanted to go to Kenya, we had limited information and knowledge about Safari's. We therefore contacted multiple companies requesting quotes and itineraries. The one company that stood out above the rest were Meektrails. Our tour consulant (Peris) gave us timely and affordable quotes, straight to the point. Many other companies tried to negotiate a much higher price for the same itinerary and same hotels. Also, Peris was able to customise our safari schedule the way we wanted. We changed our schedule multiple times, and it was never an issue for meektrail.
During the safari, we definitely had the most amazing safari expert, James. He had an incredible amount of knowledge, we was able to guide us to the best spots of the parks. He made the experience, more than just seeing animals. He was able to explain each detail of the animals behaviour patterns, diets, age, hunting methods. I can definitely see him being on National Geography channel in the future. The experience wouldnt have been the same if it were not for James.
Finally, all the safari hotels that Meektrails had us stay were perfect, great quality and exceptional service. Will definitely be booking meektrail in the future, and reccomending meektrail to family and friends.

Outstanding 6-day safari in Kenya with Meektrails
We had a fantastic 6-day safari in Kenya with Meektrails. The entire experience was incredible! Before the trip, our tour consultant William was always ready to answer our multiple questions and doubts. For the Safari, we had the company of the best possible driver/guide ever, Antony Macharia! With the eyesight of an eagle, he could spot wild animals miles away and take us as close to the action as possible (and safe). We had the trip of a lifetime and we will never forget it. We strongly recommend Meetrails not only for their professionalism but also for the fantastic people that work there! Thank you William, thank you Antony, thank you all!

Reliable and friendly service!
We had a wonderful and seamless safari experience with Meektrails. From the start William was so accommodating to all our requests the communication on his end was always very clear and he even organised a surprise cake for us on our anniversary at one of the hotels we stayed in. I would say the tour was a bit too pricey per person but Meektrails was quite reliable and their service was spot on, Our guide was Marcy a female guide in Kenya which is quite rare, she was superwoman! Her knowledge and love for animals was quite visible and her tenacity to show us the big 5 + other animals and her love and passion for the job was amazing. She really took care of us on our whole tour and was very patient with us. Kudos and thank you to both William and Marcy. We will definitely be booking our next safari trip with Meektrails again.

This travel agency is fantastic. Kimsy, who has been in touch with me, is very enthusiastic, and I am very satisfied with the itinerary she planned. Our driver and guide, Maina, was very experienced during the game drive and always managed to secure an excellent spot for viewing the animals. Philipp was a awesome safari guide. He made our trip very smooth and unique.
We had a great time on our Safari. The accomodations chosen by meek trail were really nice. We had always good food and clean rooms.
Our guide Philipp made the Safari really special and he managed to present us all of the Big 5. On top, we had a lot of fun on our journey and learnt a lot about Kenya and his wild life.
We can recommend Meek Trails and Philipp 100%.

Excellent and accommodative
Firstly , Paul was amazing as we have been regularly communicating since few months and has been extremely helpful in planning the trip. He also has been superb in suggesting the key things to look out for and provided the required documentation needed for our visa . On arrival we had the program run as per schedule with no delays. Sam our guide and driver was also excellent in giving us wonderful memories to cherish for life . He was very helpful and accommodative throughout our stay . Highly recommended .

Our entire trip with Meektrails was truly unforgettable, all thanks to our amazing guide, James. His deep knowledge of the animals, birds, and flora and fauna made every moment of the safari special. He had an incredible ability to spot wildlife and ensured we saw the Big Five, even in different settings. His adaptability to our requests made the experience even more enjoyable.
A big thank you also to Valentine, who was a gem in organizing the trip. She was incredibly responsive, providing different options tailored to our needs. The route and campsites she recommended were excellent, offering great food and facilities.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—Meektrails exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend them, especially James, for an unforgettable safari!

Very beautiful
Overall, we had a very good stay. Everything was done to make the trip enjoyable. Here are, in my opinion, the positive and negative points.
Positive points:
- Beautiful parks, we were very lucky since we saw many animals including 4/5 of the big five
- The landscapes were beautiful in every way: savannah, Kilimanjaro...
- The hotels were perfect: view, restaurant, pool... everything was gathered to spend a pleasant stay
- The exchange with Pauline was great, she booked us a program adapted to our expectations
- Peter, the guide, was very kind and knew many things about animals
- The guide gave us a pleasant surprise: we had the chance to discover Masai Mara on foot in order to observe crocodiles and hippos
- The guide was a very good driver regardless of the terrain we used
- Peter took us to the typical Massai village, we could discover their customs and it was very enriching from a cultural point of view
Negative points:
- Peter was regularly late, and did not bother to warn us
- Transfer times entered in the program were not real, distances between locations are very long (sometimes double what was written)
- Peter was regularly tired, especially in the afternoon, which made the safari less enjoyable. We were afraid that he would fall asleep at the wheel and had to be vigilant.... We told him about this problem several times.
To conclude, we highly recommend this company which has many assets.
