We spent a lot of time looking at different safari companies on the internet, but we were so pleased we chose Savannah Explorers for our safari, they were professional from start to finish.
Agustin was our first point of contact, he compiled a bespoke 7 day safari for us, he was always polite and quick to respond to emails, offering many alternative options.
Our guide was Maulid, he was exceptional, a very likable; knowledgeable and experienced guide. Maulid put 100% effort into every aspect of his work, he made our adventure in Tanzania the best it could have been. Thanks to Maulid's experience we saw the big 5 and the migration, it was wonderful. We can't thank him enough for making our trip so memorable.

Perfect and adventured honeymoon

We had an amazing experience with Savannah Explorers! David was our guide for a 4 day safari and he was awesome! He was very informative and professional, as well as flexible and accommodating with the itinerary allowing us to make changes in the schedule that would better suit us. We were able to see all of the animals we wanted and all of the lodges were great. Would definitely recommend or book with them again!

The best ever!
We had the best experience with Savannah Explorers - a true dream! We are three women (mum + daughters) and we always felt safe and looked after.
From the start, Alessandra was amazing at helping us planning the trip. She replied quickly and adjusted the itinerary to our preferences. She answered all our many questions with kindness and endless patience.
All the lodges she booked for us are incredible (especially Kifaru Lodge and Marera Mountain View). They are all set in stunning sceneries, extremely clean and comfortable. The staff everywhere was amazing - everyone so kind and attentive.
The best thing about our safari was our guide, Emanuel Msangi. He is super professional and incredibly experienced, and shared his amazing knowledge about animals and nature. Thanks to him, we saw all the big five (including the black rhino!!), a cheetah hunt, and even the wildebeests crossing (one of the best experiences of our lives). He always found the best viewing spots, and he did absolutely everything to make sure we’d see the animals we wanted! He is such a skilled driver and we always felt so safe with him.

We had a great time.
Our guide Ally picked us up from the airport and did the whole safari with us, he gave us a great tour answered all our questions.
The lodging was nice and the food was OK.

5 big stars for the big 5
We spent 5 days with our guide Isaya and visited the 2 national parks Tarangiri and Serengeti and the conservation area of Ngorongoro. We had the opportunity to see the big 5 and also many other animals, even those that are really difficult to see. We were lucky, but our guide, who's also a great driver, made everything he could in order to make this possible.
He also explainen us so many details about plants and animals, about how they live, hunt, defend and reproduce themselves. The overnights in Serengeti and close to Ngorongoro were amazing. Beautiful places, great rooms and incredibly friendly personnel! Asante sana!
