Excellent safari trip!!
Me and my boyfriend took a 7 day safari trip and we were more than happy to have booked our trip with Savannah Explorer! The agency sent a detailed itenerary, explaining places we were going to visit and locations. They were responsible and punctual!
On the other hand, our guide Ismail was the best. He was patient with us, explained a lot about african culture, had very deep knowledge about wildlife animals and answered all of our questions. Ismail is also really passionate about finding animals in the parks, once he had a hint he would follow persistently until found! What we also loved about him is that he was a very careful driver, making sure we felt comfortable in the bumpy roads of Tanzania.
The tour itself is amazing, going through 4 national parks we had the chance to see the Big 5 amongst many other animals. We were happy also money wise. The places we stayed were all really great sorrounded with amazing nature, the best and unique experience was staying in the Serengeti Kifaru tents in the heart of Serengeti park. Hearing animals while being inside the tent was exciting!
In general this was an excellent experience, the wildlife is amazing to see but how you experience it depends a lot on your tour guide. And I would definitely recommend to choose Ismail as a guide from Savannah Explorer!

Excellent service with a great choice of tour guides
The secret to having a great safari experience is having a great guide. Our guide was Ismail from Savannah Explorers and we are very happy with him. He was very patient all the time and tried to make the best of each game drive. We saw all the big 5 and some action too. Ismail has very good knowledge on the animals and their behavior and he tries to explain every thing in detail. His communication skills were excellent.

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a safari adventure in Tanzania. I must say that Savannah Explorers and our safari guide, Thomas, exceeded all expectations. I cannot express enough how exceptional the experience was: the company organized our travel seamlessly, accommodated for all our needs, and facilitated a perfect honeymoon experience for my husband and me. Excellent safari at a very reasonable price
Agustin, part of the office staff, was very patient, helpful and professional in the presentation of our custom safari. We took an 8 day/7 night trip to the most popular parks including 3 nights in the Serengeti. Our driver and guide Aby was very knowledgeable and we saw all the wildlife we had dreamed of, including the elusive cheetah and a distant rhino, with his expert guidance. We really enjoyed his company and had a lot of fun as well as the interesting details he shared. We highly recommend Savannah Explorers.

excellent planning and assistance
savannah has been highly professional, despite our 1 day late arrival, they have re-arranged the tour in the most optimal way. Accomodation was top quality, the tent hotel in the middle of serengeti absolutely unforgettable. our guide, Maulid, was not only a very nice guy speaking perfect italian, but also extremely knowleageable. if the trip has been a success, much is due to him

Professional and easy to communicate
Easter Safari
We booked a 6 day Safari in April. The weather we had rainy weather for the first 3 days. Our guide Thomas was great from the airport pickup till the drop off. With the wet weather he ensured the routes we took especially in the park was safe. With all the mud the car got really dirty but the next day the car was nice and clean for us. The Savannah Explorers office communicated with us right until the time we were due to ensure everything went smoothly. We had a great holiday and safari experience thanks to Savannah Explorers.

Savannah explorers Safari went exactly as planned! Our tour guide Felix Kisamo was knowledgeable, funny, warm, and friendly. He made sure we were comfortable along the way. He was very meticulous with keeping time. He laid out a wonderful picnic for us everyday!! We are vegetarian and one of our kids has food allergies. The tour was able to accommodate that as well. The places we stayed were clean and well maintained. Over the Safari, Felix has become a good friend. We would highly recommend Savannah Explorers Safari.
