ASK FOR GERRY! HE’S AWESOME! HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND AND MADE THIS AN AWESOME TRIP OF A LIFETIME!
There were so many Safari options to choose from but I’m sure this one is absolutely one of the best! Not only did we see some of the most amazing animals on the planet and some of the most beautiful landscapes, the people were what really made the trip for us. Our tour guide, Gerry, was phenomenal! He was extremely informative and did everything in his power to go above and beyond in every single aspect. I highly recommend Savannah Explorers and highly recommend you ask for him to be your tour guide! We feel very blessed and are going back home with our hearts and minds full of some awesome memories. Special shout out to Albert in the sales office also!

Good experience overall
Safari was very successful. We’re able to see all the major national parks with lots of success with animal viewings and game drives. Highly recommend Ismail(Guide), he was very knowledgeable, polite, sociable and catered to our needs and requests. He provided us with a great safari experience. We had a fun time on the safari and all the accommodations were very well put together.
The only two pieces of feedback for the company would be
1) included lunches could be better. Surprisingly the lunches provided by the tented camps were of far higher quality and enjoyable than those from the hotels/lodges.
2)provide accurate and detailed information about the places, activities and accommodations as our last stop in Lake Natron was not at all enjoyable. Accommodation was sub par, weather was too hot, and activities were very limited and were not a good use of time. Lake Natron is also very out of the way from all major national parks making for very long driving days.

Amazing safari experience! Our guide Jackson was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable about all plants and animals. We got incredibly close to the wildlife. Pick up and drop off were on time and clearly communicated. The schedule felt very relaxing and fulfilling. Would highly recommend for future tours.

Micky was very helpful with all our questions.
Arrived in the hotel in Arusha, our guide and driver Aby contacted us and briefed us about the upcoming days.
The accomondations in lodges and tented camps were always upper class with friendly personnel and supplies.
We saw more wildlife on our Safari than we expected.
Aby is a very professional and knowledgable guide, a very safe and comfortable driver and also a very nice guy.

A lifetime experience!
Wonderful experience for our honeymoon with Savannah Explorers and our guide Semle. We have seen all the Big Five, discovered new culture and visited beautiful places (Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti in 4 days).
The accommodation are great (Marera Moutain view lodge and bush camps central Serengeti) and also the pic nic lunch are OK.
We wish to came back one day!
