Adventure and emotions in Tanzania
We spent a week with Suma, from Savannah Explorer, who accompanied us to the most famous parks in Tanzania: Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Manyara, and the famous Serengeti. Every day was a discovery, nature, smiling people, the boundless prairies, the muddy streets of the villages, the Maasai tribes and above all the animals, from the funniest to the most elegant, those always seen only on TV, caught in their home , so real and majestic. A unique experience. We found the organization excellent and our guide Suma, friendly and helpful, relaxed even on the most impassable roads, gave us great peace of mind. Samwel Mangulai ~ An EXCEPTIONAL GUIDE!
We had only a few days on Safari in Tanzania, and hoped to witness sightings of the Wildebeest Migration. Samwel’s knowledge and expertise WOWED us. We were able to get up close and personal with a number of spectacular Wildebeest encounters. One had thousands of them running right alongside and crossing behind our vehicle. We also got fabulous close sightings of giraffe, lions, hippos, water buffalo, cheetahs, zebras, crocodiles and many beautiful and colorful birds. These included: Grey Crowned Crane, Maribou Stork, Secretary Bird, Superb Starling, Ostrich, Lilac Breasted Roller, African Fish Eagle, and Kori Bustard among them.
Samwel was able to give us great information on all of the animals we were so fortunate to see…His ability as an experienced guide allowed it to happen! A knowledgeable and friendly person
I joined a 4-night, 5-day safari tour covering Tanzania's Ngorongoro National Park and Serengeti National Park. Our driver and tour guide was a man named Elisha. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the various animal species and their behaviors, and he skillfully exchanged information with other drivers to guide us to different locations. Thanks to him, we were able to see as many as 30 different species over four days, including lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, jackals, gazelles, and baboons. The hotels we stayed at were also wonderful, especially the Meliá Serengeti Lodge, where the food, service, rooms, and cleanliness were all top-notch.

Unforgettable safari with Elisha!
Our recent trip to Tanzania was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the impeccable service and guidance provided by Elisha. From the moment we landed at Kilimanjaro Airport, Elisha was there to greet us with a sign bearing our name, making us feel welcomed and at ease.
**Efficient Use of Time and Cultural Insights**
On the first day, we efficiently traveled to Karatu, maximizing our time from the get-go. During the journey, Elisha shared fascinating insights about Tanzanian towns and culture, enriching our experience beyond just sightseeing.
**Exciting Wildlife Encounters**
Our second day took us through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to the Serengeti. We were thrilled to see giraffes up close, a truly exhilarating experience. Elisha offered invaluable advice at a roadside shop, suggesting we avoid purchasing items at higher prices elsewhere.
At the Ngorongoro gate, we purchased an animal checklist, which became a cherished souvenir. It allowed us to track the animals we saw, learning their names in both English and Swahili. This added an educational layer to our adventure.
**Serengeti Wonders and Balloon Safari**
Entering the Serengeti, we were immediately greeted by the sight of two majestic male lions. This was just the beginning; we also encountered cheetahs, hippos, elephants, zebras, and leopards, each sighting more awe-inspiring than the last.
The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the early morning balloon ride. The serene dawn over the savannah, with gazelles and giraffes gracefully moving below, was breathtaking. Viewing the landscape and wildlife from above was a unique and unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Serengeti. The tour was organized through a company called Miracle Experience. Their professionalism was evident from the pilot's thorough and engaging demonstration, ensuring we felt safe and informed throughout the journey.

Most importantly, Elisha, our tour guide, made this journey truly special. His profound knowledge of wildlife, personal stories, and insights into safari vehicles enriched our understanding and appreciation of Tanzania. Abdul, our guide, made everything special!
Tanzania is amazing, we saw a lot of animals and wonderful landscapes. Our accommodations provided good service and great view. We have really enjoyed the safari. A big jeep for 2 people. Abdul speaks very good italian, he is very polite and knows everything about animals. It was a great safari!!

We were lucky enough to join both Roberto and Greyson on Safari this July. The two raffikis were amazing. They were very happy to tailor a trip to suit us and were very professional, but above all wonderful people to travel with.
In our 6 days with them we did not have a single problem. The camps we stayed in were luxurious and didn't leave us wanting more.
Safari with these two was a once in a lifetime opportunity- they were very knowledgeable and having seen other car accidents in Africa we were glad that Greyson was such a great driver. We were lucky to see ever animal under the sun including a wonderful rhino that Greyson spotted from an unbelievable distance (he said it was easy to see!).
Greyson and Roberto run Savannah Explorers and they were always checking on their other clients who were in the parks at the same time. So you can be assured that you will be well looked after.
We feel so lucky to have shared the experience these wonderful people.

An unforgettable experience!!!
We spent 8 days with Savannah Explorers and we had a wonderful time! We planned the tour with Roberto and everything has gone as the plan. Everything was perfect: at the arrival at Kilimanjaro we know our guide, Rama. We became immediately friends! He proved to be pleasant and experienced: he has taught us everything we needed to know about Tanzania. He told us the story of Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro and everything about wildlife. If we saw so many animals we have to thank him. Savannah gave us the opportunity to visit two tribes of bushmen with a Datoga guide. He told us about uses, costums and history about them. It was a beautiful experience! Lodges and tented camp suggested by Roberto has been really comfortable and characteristic. Thank to the staff, we lived a beautiful experience in Osupuko. David, the manager, Claude, the chef, Yohana, Peter, Lukas... they made our stay unforgettable! We suggest to travel with SE because of professionalism, experience and excellent price/quality. The power of nature and a wonderful culture...karibu in Tanzania!!
We chose to go on a Safari in Tanzania as a destination of our honeymoon...A Safari in Africa was a dream of mine since I was a child, and what we actually lived was even better than my dream! Savannah Exploreres, especially Rama, our guide, made our week spent in Tanzania the most moving experience in our lives. The Nature is so powerful that makes you stir, Rama explained us everything about the animals and about Tanzanian culture, which now we are in love with!! A good guide makes the difference, and in our week spent together, Rama has become our friend (or better, our "rafiki", since we lernt also some words in swahili!!)
We completed our journey with a 4-day stay in Zanzibar, in the peaceful village of Uroa...beautiful seaside and another great cultural experience...now we know that "African homesikness" exists...and there is no treatment for it...just thinking of the next journey to Africa!! Thanks to Savannah Explorers we made our dream true...Asante sana!!!
