An unforgettable experience!!!
We spent 8 days with Savannah Explorers and we had a wonderful time! We planned the tour with Roberto and everything has gone as the plan. Everything was perfect: at the arrival at Kilimanjaro we know our guide, Rama. We became immediately friends! He proved to be pleasant and experienced: he has taught us everything we needed to know about Tanzania. He told us the story of Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro and everything about wildlife. If we saw so many animals we have to thank him. Savannah gave us the opportunity to visit two tribes of bushmen with a Datoga guide. He told us about uses, costums and history about them. It was a beautiful experience! Lodges and tented camp suggested by Roberto has been really comfortable and characteristic. Thank to the staff, we lived a beautiful experience in Osupuko. David, the manager, Claude, the chef, Yohana, Peter, Lukas... they made our stay unforgettable! We suggest to travel with SE because of professionalism, experience and excellent price/quality. Amazing safari experience with very knowledgeable and friendly staff
We spent 7 days with Savannah Explorers and had a wonderful time. David, titled 'Lucky David' by one of the camp managers, was our guide and he sure lived up to his title. From the very beginning we saw giraffes and elephants up close at Lake Manyara. In the Serengeti we were lucky enough to see 4 of the big 5, including a lion kill! In Ngorongoro we saw 2 black rhino. Savannah Explorers made this trip happen in an enjoyable way by having guides who are so friendly and knowledgeable and knowing the camps that provide great service. Roberto and Grayson, the managers of SE, were also great. They were very responsive and helped us organize the safari efficiently, as well as checked in on us while we were there. They were very flexible and able to quickly help us with some additions to our initial safari plan.

We were lucky enough to join both Roberto and Greyson on Safari this July. The two raffikis were amazing. They were very happy to tailor a trip to suit us and were very professional, but above all wonderful people to travel with.
In our 6 days with them we did not have a single problem. The camps we stayed in were luxurious and didn't leave us wanting more.
Safari with these two was a once in a lifetime opportunity- they were very knowledgeable and having seen other car accidents in Africa we were glad that Greyson was such a great driver. We were lucky to see ever animal under the sun including a wonderful rhino that Greyson spotted from an unbelievable distance (he said it was easy to see!).
Greyson and Roberto run Savannah Explorers and they were always checking on their other clients who were in the parks at the same time. So you can be assured that you will be well looked after.
We feel so lucky to have shared the experience these wonderful people.

Friendly trip and good organization
We found out Savannah Explorers on internet and we immediatly contacted Roberto for planning our safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara Lake. We bought an individual trip (we were 2 of us) and we spent 1 week around with our italian speaking guide Rama. We had a lot of fun, and we met many animals. The trip wasn't expensive and well organised. We chose some medium level accomodations and we spent 2 nights in a tented camp (kati kati) and it was an amazing experience:the dark of the night, the silence and the shining stars. All lodges and the tented camp were nice and clean. Food was good and diversified, we could choose among a lot of things. I think that to plan a safari booking directly through Savannah is a bargain and you will be sure to have a lot of fun and serious organization at the same time. I hope to be back to Tanzania soon!

The communication with Roberto was excellent: he has tailored our safari program meeting all our requests. This was my 7th trip to Africa and, inevitably, we had special requests. Our guide Issa and the cook are very good: we have really appreciated wildlife and nature in marvelous and unforgettable places. In my opinion Ruaha is one of most beautiful parks in Africa, perhaps the best one.

Great experience even with a low budget
We needed a low budget safari and Roberto worked hard to organize it for us, even with a lot of changes in our program. We spent five great days in our tents, eating excellent meals.

excellent service for our trip in the National Parks in North Tanzania and Zanzibar
Communications : I got instant feedback from Savannah Explorers on all my emails, they were regularly calling us during the trip to check if everything was ok. Our driver Jimmie was always finding strategic positions from which we had wonderful views of the animals. We got very good camps and excellent lodges. In Zanzibar: the resort Hideaway Nungwi was great and the beach was perfect. Unforgettable memories from Escarpment Lodge. Thanks for everything!
