From the moment I booked with Ongeri Expeditions 2 weeks prior to my arrival in Kenya, the communication was top-notch as my itinerary was handled by June Musangi. Every question was promptly answered and every detail meticulously planned as stated during our conversations. The service was nothing short of exceptional; every request was catered to with warmth and professionalism. The value for money was incredible; the level of luxury and attention to detail far surpassed what I expected. Ongeri Expeditions proved to be utterly reliable, ensuring that every part of the journey was smooth and stress free. The game drives itself was a dream come true, the guide was welcoming, thoughtful and adhered to our requests and managed to see the 7th Wonder of the World with a foreground of breathtaking landscapes. Ongeri expedition did a great job in arranging our trip across Kenya. Though we were a little late when we reached out to them,they were able to arrange the best accommodation for us at all places with rooms that had great views. We would definitely recommend them for your trip to Kenya.

Everything we could have ever asked for!
We went for a 5 day Safari in the Masai Mara for our honeymoon at the end of June this year. We chose Ongeri Safaris and could not have imagined how incredible and attentive they would be! They were always available to message via WhatsApp with quick replies every time and we had a phone call the week before to discuss everything which was really helpful. We were met as we got off the plane by someone from the safari company and every little part of the trip was planned to perfection. Cazeah was amazing and included some surprises like a private driver for the week and a beautiful river view ‘tent’ which was so nice! Our driver Daniel was amazing, so knowledgable and the whole trip was everything we could have every dreamed of! We really recommend the hot air balloon sunrise trip with breakfast in the middle of the plains! Could not recommend Ongeri safaris enough!

Amazing Safari in The Masai Mara!
We had the most amazing experience thanks to Zippy at Ongeri! The trip was planned down to a t and Zippy could not have been more responsive and helpful. Our drivers John and Wilson were truly fantastic and we saw every kind of animal. 10/10!

Romantic 3-Day Get-Away to Masai Mara
We truly enjoyed our three-day romantic escape to the Masai Mara, organized by Ongeri Expeditions. It was a journey filled with wonder and romance staying at the Kichwa Tembo Camp. From the moment we received a detailed briefing about what to expect on our trip, the exceptional service by Ongerie Expeditions was evident.
Our journey began with a scenic morning flight from Wilson Airport to Kichwa Tembo Airstrip, stopping once on the way to drop other passengers. Once we landed we were greeted with fresh coffee & tea, some snacks and warm smiles. We waited for some more guests who arrived on another flight, enjoying amarula-infused coffee before taking of to the camp with our guide Collins. On the way he already gave us an introduction to the Camp and the coming days. We even spotted some animals on the way.
After settling in and a lunch buffet, we embarked on our first game drive. Thanks to Ongeri Expeditions all procedures regaring park fees wer4e well taken care of, so the stop at Olololoo gate was very brief. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, enhancing our understanding of the ecosystem and the behaviors of the diverse wildlife we encountered. After our return, we enjoyed dinner and roasted some Marshmallows by the fire.
We almost entirely spent the second day in the park, so manage getting closer to the large herds of the Migration. While we sadly did not see a river crossing happening, we got very close. What a thrilling experience. On our last evening the staff prepared a romantic dinner set-up under the stars for us, which we were very happy about.
Throughout our stay, the staff at Kichwa Tembo Camp ensured almost every detail was perfect. From the delicious meals to the beautifully appointed tents, everything was designed to provide the utmost comfort and luxury amidst the wild beauty of the Mara.
In conclusion, our romantic getaway to the Masai Mara, organized by Ongeri Expeditions was an extraordinary experience. The combination of thrilling wildlife encounters and luxurious accommodations made it a trip we will never forget. For anyone looking to combine adventure, culture, and romance, this is an experience not to be missed.

Ongeri Expeditions surpassed our expectations! From the safari choices offered to us. The ability to respond to all our questions regarding the Safari and accommodation choice we had made. Ongeri Expeditions made our safari booking promptly, and provided excellent value for money. They connected us with the right partners for flight bookings, hotel reservations and transfers. The partners they used on the ground were super efficient, friendly, and offered great service. The tour to Kichwa Tembo in the Masai Mara was an unforgettable experience. We would recommend the safari to visitors. Kichwa Tembo is an excellent little paradise in the Masai Mara, the staff are friendly and offer wholesome service, especially the Tour Guide and the Restaurant staff.

Excellent, best trip my wife and I could have wished for. Made our honeymoon super special
My wife and I wanted to go on safari as part of our trip to east Africa for our honeymoon. It’s safe to say we could not have had a better experience booking through Ongeri Expediations in particular with Zippy who was our tour operator. She was fantastic, always on hand to support with anything we needed, her communication was great always keeping us updated as and when we needed information.
Ongeri booked us onto Kichwa Tembo camp in Masai Mara and it’s safe to say it was the best 4 days my wife and I had every experienced and we cannot wait to go back already, and will definitely be using ongeri Expediations and zippy to support us on our next trip!
It was great value for money and we would highly recommend anyone to use them if they are thinking about booking safari!
We even booked the hot airballon add on which is a must! Unfortunately it was cancelled on the day due to the wind which was out of everyone’s control but zippy was on hand straight away to ensure we were seamlessly booked onto the hot airballon experience the very next day and we managed to have the best experience we have ever had floating over the Masai Mara and seeing it in all its glory. We are very grateful for zippy help throughout our entire experience and look forward to using ongeri and working with zippy again!
