Wild life in confidence and professionnalism
We found Bush Troop safaris on Kato member website list, where we randomly checked many operators for our safary. They were the best choice for tree reasons: the communication was really clear and friendly, the price was fair, and Jacqueline adapts her offers to what we want.
We booked for a budget safari of 11 days, and when we arrived in Nairobi we choose to stay longer with BushTroop Safaris and we booked a treck in Loita Hills to complete our journey.
The safari was very well done in the choice of the places we went because we saw a huge diversity of landscapes and animals. It was also nice with our guide Sammy who I appreciate much because he's a very good guide who can show you animals and give you as many informations you want on them, he's very aware about wildlife and friendly. Accomodations and food (we are vegetarian) were also good, we allways sleept well and safe.
The treck was different and complete well the safari, it's more active. We walked into the wild with our guide Mickael, a cook chef and two massaïs. Those guys were very nice and kind with us. Here we could move slowly in nature to the animals, we saw amazing landcsapes, we listened to massaï songs by the firecamp, we had our shower in the river, slept in a tent, and at the end we went in a massaï village and learnt about their culture. At the end we were very tired but happy! And thanks to the cooker, we ate amazingly well!!!
At the end Jacqueline found us an hotte in our prices and a last day of visits at girafe center and elephant’s orphanage, it was a great choice before leaving.
Thanks to the team, you can be confident!

Wonderful Safari Experience between Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli National Park
Wonderful 6-Day Safari between Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli National Park.
We were a group of 3 persons (I, my mom and sister) and we shared a mini-bus with 5 Americans and our guide. It was not a luxurious safari, but it was just what we were looking for: adventure!
We had lots of fun, we saw all the animals we wanted to see (even the rhinos!) and we got along very well with the rest of the group.
A special thanks to Geoffrey, our guide and driver. He is amazing! Always friendly, helpful, enthusiastic and willing to share his knowledge and experience.
The information and communication with Jacqueline, the manager of Bush Troop Safaris, was excellent!
Next time in Kenya, I will definitely book again with them.
Highly recommended! +++++

Masai Mara Safari and Mount Kenia Hike well organized for a Kenya Newbie
I was asking for a tailored combination of a short safari and a trekking tour in the Mount Kenia region (Pt. Lenana). I got a very nice proposal including stays in between the segments in a very good hotel in Nairobi. All my questions as First Timer in Kenya have been answered within a day (thanks to Jacqueline Mwathe) everything including pick-up at the airport was organized perfectly. The special highlight was the guided trekking tour at Mount Kenya. The guide hired for me by Bush Troop Safaris (Julius Kinuthia) was simply great. Not only being a safe giude allowing me to enjoy the trek in elevations I've never been before, but also he was a textbook about all aspects of life in Kenya and I really leaned a lot from him during our six days we had together.
Thanks to all the Bush Troop Safaris team.

Everything perfect, a nice and professional service.
Good Morning. We contracted with Bushtroop Tours and Safaris and everything went perfectly. Months before to arrive at Nairobi we had contacted with Jacqueline by email. She responded very quickly to the emails. After comparing prices and services we decided to rent a 4x4 with your agency. We paid to her 300 dollars in advance and when we arrived in Nairobi we paid the rest at the airport. When we arrived in Kenya, at the airport, a worker from the agency was waiting for us. We had hired a Toyota and we had prepared a Nisan, the boy told us that the Toyota had it in the mechanical workshop. After 10 days in Kenya we returned to leave the car at the Nairobi airport. In this time Jacqueline was waiting for us to pick up the car. The impression she gave me is that she was a very nice and professional person. We did not have any kind of problem with the service.

Very friendly, good organizers
We booked a safari at masai mara with bushtroop tours and we could not have picked a better organizer. The weather forecast for our original date was very bad, so we asked a few days before, if we could change the dates. It was not a problem at all. Our guide was very nice and very relaxing and he made sure we saw every animal we wanted... e.g. he didn't give up until we found the rhino :). Overall a very pleasant experience and we would book again with this company any time.
highly recommended
I rented a Toyota RAV4 with this agency. Vehicle in good condition. No mechanical problem. Tires in good condition. Very competitive price. Good communication with Jacqueline Mwathe by email.

Incredible safari in Kenya, a good guide makes a big difference
We had an unforgettable safari experience in Kenya, thanks to Bushtroop and in particular to our guide Nester Torome. We highly recommend them to anyone considering a trip to Kenya.
Communication is smooth and straightforward. Jacqueline was one of the earliest to respond to our query, and was always responsive to our follow up requests. On arrival, she gave us a warm welcome at the airport, despite having to wait for us for over an hour as we were held up inside.
Our guide Nester is very friendly and professional. He was always on time and in a cheerful mood despite hours and hours of driving. He has superb knowledge in animals and a passion in birds, whilst showing great respect to the wild animals. His vision is extraordinary. Very often he spot animals with naked eyes, while it took me a long time to find with my binoculars. It was his extremely sharp vision that helped us spot a critically-endangered black rhino in Lake Nakuru. He works hard to ensure we had good game viewing, driving long distance in Masai Mara just so we can see both cheetahs and leopards in one afternoon.
We are really grateful for Bushtroop and Nester for such an experience and hope to return soon.

Bush Troop Safaris is fraudulent and will scam you - CAUTION
We booked through Safari Bookings, using Bushtroop Tours and Safaris (see contact below) -this company is a fraud. They said they would accept visa in Can currency and when asked repeatedly why they didn't process our deposit of 30% prior to the trip well in advance, they said that they were waiting for a more favorable exchange rate. The day prior to the safari they said our visa was a problem and insisted on cash payment via online transfer so they could steal our money and run. They were very suspicious and we asked them to jointly call visa to sort out the visa payment, but they didn't respond and insisted on cash payment. This company is scamming innocent customers. Please remove them from your operators option.

Posted on Oct 2, 2018Bushtroop Tours & Safaris is NOT a fraud, we a legitimate company.
We were not able to process your deposit because our account is a USD account. We also did not insist payment in cash. When we come to pick from the airport we had a pdq machine which you could have paid by card.
You made things difficult by insisting on paying us with Canadian dollars, all we could have done is converted the amount to usd and then pay by card.
Your preconceived notion that your money will be stolen speaks to your character. We are honest business people.

Sales Manager
