Obviously I made a right choice for my family's journey of life.
Safari in East Africa has always been my family's common dream journey. I was so fascinated by it that I drafted a detailed itinerary right after I booked the flights between China and Kenya. Then, I reached out to Morning Star via Safaribooking. I found that the Tour Consultant of Morning Star-Dennis Kimeu could always get what I want and respond with clear travel plans and according reasonable quotes in time. So I made the choice of Morning Star as our Tour Operator right away. Although it was still about half year before our departure.
To bide the time until that day comes, I have several times wrote to Dennis for various consultations. Dennis kept his polite and efficient style and gave me a lot useful suggestions. For example, we made a adjustment for the arrangement of the day of our arrival at Nairobi just several days before our departure according to the suggestion of Dennis that to visit Giraffe Center instead of United Nations Office for the time-consuming issue at the airport according to his notice. And that's exactly what happened, we queued up for about 2 hours at the Safaricom airport desk.
During our safari journey in Kenya, we have visited Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboseli successively. We have found so much animals there and seen one scene after another which could only appear on TV in our past lives. Obviously we have collected much more than “Africa Big Five” ，but in particular we witnessed 3 cheetahs successfully hunting an impala in Masai Mara, hyaena feeding baby in Nakuru, zebras just sleeping outside our room in Naivasha and a big group of gazelles grazing just in front of Kilimanjaro in Amboseli.
Finally, I'd like to give a special thanks to our driver guide-Peter Rono, who assisted us to perfectly realize the fantastic journey. Rono is an experienced guide that can always find the animals that we want to see, he is also a highly skilled driver that can always take us to the destinations quickly and safely. What's more, Rono is rich in knowledge of African wildlife and helped us learn a lot during the journey. Most of all, Rono seems to have an unique ability that can predict the action of wildlife so that we can always arrive the location for witnessing in advance and wait them to approach instead of chasing animals all over the savanna.

Brilliant and caring
We were a big family group from three different parts of the world all meeting up at Nairobi air port. With ages ranging from under ten to over seventy, Morning star catered well for us all!!
Our two drivers in two Land Cruises really took care of our needs and drove so well! There was a real sense of adventure every time we went out on safari! We had plenty of bumpy and dusty ‘roller coaster’ rides! Fun and Exciting! I felt so safe!! We saw such a variety of birds and animals. Both drivers were knowledgeable. Masila knew about the birds and Willy, who was very attentive, was a font of knowledge about the safari animals. I felt lucky and honoured to be driven by such gentle and professional drivers!! Amazing experience!

TRIP PLANNING
Going to Africa has been a dream for our family but we had no idea how to start planning. Working with Morning Star Tours made the process seamless. Specifically, Alice was everything you need in a travel consultant: knowledgeable, responsive, informative, patient, flexible, and she made the process fun! Alice provided us with a number of different options based on budget, length of stay, activities and types of accommodations. All tent camps or hotels she provided were very high quality, transfers, trains and tours were perfect. There was not a detail that was not considered so the trip was incredibly smooth. She was able to support our request to visit six different parks and go to the beach, providing us with expert recommendations about timing, itinerary and important things to see and do from tourist sites to cultural experiences and even volunteering. She answered all of my questions (and there were many) to help us refine the perfect trip for our family. Even when we were there and had questions, she was just a text away. With her help, we created truly core memories which our kids will remember forever.
IN KENYA
Alice had booked us with one of their trusted drivers, Alex who was an incredible driver and wild life guide. We felt 100% safe with him as he navigated city traffic, rural roads, and some tough spots in the parks. With Alex we saw every animal we could have imagined and more including the "Big 5." We saw herds of elephants, lions of all sizes (the babies!!!), a leopard from afar, cheetah up close (including a mama and her young), rhino and many water buffalo. Alex was quick to point out even bird, monkeys and other small animals which were very cool. Alex was with us for 10 days and got to know our family. He worked with us each day to create a plan that was right for us and we had magnificent experiences on safari where he knew how to get us front row seats to the main attractions. He always found clean places to stop and gave us time we needed but kept us on track. He took such good care of our family and was kind, helpful, experienced, reliable, flexible, patient and fun to be around.

perfect safari trip
We was the first time on a safari and what can we say, we loved it!! Joysharon planned everything for us perfect and was so lovely. Our driver John was the perfect driver and guided, he knows all the places where the animals stays and we learnd a lot about the animals and nature. He was very helpful and friendly and a funny person. He loves his job and that makes the feeling more special. We saw all the big 5 and more. It was so beautiful. We was in amboseli nationalpark, nakuru nationalpark and masai mara nationalpark. Also we did a hot air balloon safari in masai mara. Everything was organized from mornigstar safaris and the fit was perfect. Also the hotels and the food was very nice.
We thank the whole mornigstar team and hope we will see us again.

On time all the time.
Morningstar was perfect! Our tour guide Alex was amazing. He was always available when he said he would be and brought us to all the best spots for animal viewing. January was a great time to do this because of how little people were in the parks, it felt like we had them to ourselves. Even in the off-season, we saw the big 5 and ugly 5.

Outstanding Safari Experience in Kenya and Tanzania
I have visited Kenya and Tanzania with my wife and 15 years old daughter during the year end holidays, and we had a wonderful experience using Morning Star Tours & Travel services to organize our safari. Starting with Alice, who was our travel consultant and was very engaging and patient since the first contact. She helped me go through multiple iterations to create the perfect itinerary that would meet our expectations within the time and budget we had available – our itinerary started in Nairobi, went through Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, crossing then the border to Tanzania to visit Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Arusha. Alice help us find outstanding lodging options for a very fair price. During the trip she was always very responsive, regularly making the point to contact us through WhatsApp and check if everything was going as expected.
We also had a fantastic experience with all the guides we had during the trip: starting with Justus, who was right at the airport waiting for us after a late night arrival to bring us quickly and safely to our hotel in Nairobi. That was followed by an incredible time with Chacha, who was our guide throughout Kenya starting the next day. Chacha shared his energy and passion for the work he does to help us have a great experience in the wild, as well as a safe journey in-between the parks all the way from Nairobi to Tanzania. We changed vehicles upon crossing the border to Tanzania – Jackson was our new guide at that point and did an outstanding job in helping us notice everything along the way, and I will always be grateful for his determination to help us see all the big 5 in Serengeti. Lastly, for our last day from the vicinities of Ngorongoro crater to our departure in Arusha airport, our guide Prince did way more than just drive us to the airport: given we had a bit more time, he went above and beyond and drove us through the main points in downtown Arusha and shared his knowledge of the city he clearly loves, what allowed us to learn a bit more from that important hub in the region.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the safari organized by Morning Star both in terms of quality, price and punctuality. I will keep fond memories from our trip for a long time to come, certainly recommending their services to all my friend and family. A special thanks to Alice, Justus, Chacha, Jackson and Prince for doing everything they could to make the experience even more memorable!

Seamless organization and wonderful customer care
Had a great 10 day trip in Kenya organized by Alice at Morningstar (Safari in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli and Tsavo + 4 days at the beach in Diani).
The organization pre-trip was seamless (great communication, flexibility, customer support) at a competitive cost vs other operators.
During the trip, Alice was also available throughout to coordinate our trip and help with on-the-go changes we requested.
During the safari, we had a very knowledgeable driver / guide, James, who went above and beyond to make sure we could see as much as possible nature / animals during the game drives.
A very positive experience that I definitely recommend!

Morningstar organized 4 days of safari for us, from the Nairobi National Park to the Masai Mara.
Our guide Mololo was perfect, competent and attentive to our needs. There was a problem booking the train from Nairobi to Mombasa but the agency promptly remedied it. Super recommended!

Everything fine!
Our tour was quite good, the whole conversation before per email was always very quick und very professional. Our driver was always very well dressed and always in time to pick us up. We saw a lot of animals, the accomodations were so good, also the train ride was an expereance for us!
