Knowledgeable!
Masila from Morning Star Tours was awesome! He was a great driver and guide who is truly passionate about his job and the animals in the conservations. He was able to answer all of our questions, he communicated with the other tour guides to share locations of animals to increase our chances of seeing more. He spoke with such enthusiasm about the animals that it was contagious. Wanja was the person who we booked the tour with and she was very communicative, always responding in a timely manner and addressing all of our requests. I would highly recommend this tour company and Masila specifically!

Willy was friendly, attentive, eager to get us to the animals, and took great pics of our group
From start to finish, Morning Star is amazing! They are extremely responsive, accommodating, affordable, and friendly. This is the second year we have worked with them, and will again in future years.

Great tour and excellent customer service from Morning Star
We booked at quite short notice and Morning Star were helpful in designing an itinerary and making all the arrangements for a mixed Safari and Beach holiday - we enjoyed game drives and walks in reserves and saw a huge number Kenya’s animals and birds.
Places selected to stay at were of high standard and did not disappoint - recommend this tour company

African Safari Adventure: Exploring Kenya and Tanzania
We embarked on a trip to Kenya and Tanzania from February 16th to February 24th. In December, we reached out to Dennis to help plan our journey. Their professionalism in arranging our itinerary and accommodating our date changes was commendable. We were thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail in every aspect of our trip.
For the initial four days in Kenya, we were accompanied by our guide, James. Not only was he an exceptional guide, but also a talented photographer. His precise knowledge of ideal photography spots along our route was remarkable. For any aspiring photographers, I highly recommend James's services. Our journey took us from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru, where the first game drive left us somewhat disappointed due to minimal animal sightings. However, subsequent drives in Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara more than made up for it. Despite the season nearing its end and the animals migrating southward, we were thrilled to encounter herds of elephants, pride of lions, cheetahs, solitary buffaloes, and a plethora of zebras and wildebeests. We didn't enjoy the ride in the Hippo River much. We hardly spotted any hippos in the river. However, we did see numerous groups of hippos in the streams we crossed and the lakes we visited.
Our time in Masai Mara coincided with the onset of rain, adding a scenic charm to the landscapes. Nevertheless, the rainfall made our journey from Masai Mara to the Tanzania border quite adventurous. We are immensely grateful to James for safely navigating us through the challenging conditions and extend our heartfelt thanks to the rangers and cattle herders who provided invaluable guidance along the way.
From the Sirari Tanzania border, our guide Jackson was incredibly enthusiastic. As the animals had migrated to the south Serengeti, we were treated to the sight of thousands and thousands of zebras, wildebeests, and wild buffaloes, along with encounters with the big four (though unfortunately, we missed out on spotting a leopard). Despite losing our way in Serengeti National Park, we embraced it as part of the adventure. The Ngorongoro Crater was an unforgettable experience. Surprisingly, we saw more flamingos in the crater than at Lake Nakuru.
Throughout our journey, we stayed at seven different hotels over eight nights. Sarova at Lake Nakuru stood out as one of the best. The cook, Mr. Richardson, prepared for us a delicious masala dosa, which was a highlight of our Indian breakfast experience. Staying at various camps also provided unique adventures, from spotting hyenas close to our tents to waking up to the sight of giraffes nearby.
Overall, the experience was great. A big thanks to Dennis, James, and Jackson from Morning Star. Hope to see you again!

Honest, Experienced and Fun!
First of all. ASK FOR RAYMOND! He is the best and most friendly and well spoken person you can find for your tour guide. Denis and the team at the office operating the logistics are well experienced people and will be fully transparent with every cost in and out and make sure you have the best experience possible. Me and my wife from Toronto, Canada booked this trip to Serengeti last min for our honeymoon. I had to transfer the money within a week of arrival. They HAD EVERYTHING SET UP AND READY TO GO! Talk to Denis on WhatsApp and email him and his staff and theyre quick to reply! They also have lots of options and accommodations too. Raymond gave us such a good dive into Tanzanian culture and we can easily say we met a tour guide but left with a friend. They’re also a local business which I find better as they have more of a insider scoop on the tours rather then the ones that operate out of America. We did a 10 day tour and can easily say it was safer then most European places we’ve been to. The locals love the travellers and are super friendly. The animal life has no words to describe the beauty you’ll see that god has left for us to experience. MorningStar IS THE BEST COMPANY to go with. Easily will come again! - from Canada with Love, Amir and Tatiana. <3

Fantastic Tour Company - Amazing and perfect 9-day Adventure in Kenya and Tanzania
Fabulous tour company. I will recommend them to all my friends. After seeing our pictures, they all want to have such an incredible adventure too! Alice was so helpful and quickly responsive via email and text with all of the planning. She worked hard to answer all our questions and accommodate our every wish as she helped us plan the safari of our dreams. We opted for 9 days in Kenya and Tanzania over the Christmas holiday. This turned out to be a perfect time of year to go. The crowds weren't overwhelming and the landscape was lush and green. And we got to see all of the animals we were hoping to see. It was a totally awesome experience! We loved all of the lodges and camps they selected for our safari experience. The food was great, the beds were comfortable, the atmosphere was friendly and relaxing! We loved our itinerary and activities as well, which is mostly because of our awesome driver guides. Our driver in Kenya was Alex. He was an amazing driver guide and was very skilled at providing the best opportunities to see the animals! Alex was very knowledgeable and always made sure we had the best possible experience! On our first safari game drive with Alex, we saw the incredibly rare black rhino! In Tanzania, our driver was Jackson, who was an exceptional guide. He was so friendly and totally dedicated to helping us have an amazing time. On our first day with Jackson, we were lucky enough to find a leopard who'd just made a kill in the Serengeti and got some incredible photos. He said it was luck, but truthfully, it was due to his persistence and commitment to making sure we got to see all of the Big Five. We are super grateful to Morningstar Safaris for helping us have such an incredible adventure and for providing such excellent service and amazing guides!

Now I have been on safari with Morning Star, I need to come back again!
Morning Star is fantastic, I will be back!! I booked a 5 day safari with Morning Star, with my partner and her 10 year old son. We travelled to Masaii Mara for multiple days, Lake Naivasha and Mount Longonot, and spots in between. My partner had arranged the trip, so the details of the trip was mostly a surprise for me, and I had not been to Kenya before. Morning Star far surpassed my expectations in a number of ways.
The office staff (Joy) was very responsive to putting together itineraries, and adjusting the trip according to our travel dates and desires. While booking, my partner asked for a several changes to the itinerary and activities, and each time Joy sent back (within a few hours) an updated itinerary with images of the locations we would be going, and detailed information about the logistics and what to expect. Even before the trip had started we were so excited!
When we arrived, we were greeted by our driver James M., who not only served as our driver, but James has done extensive research on birds and mammals, and used his deep knowledge to educate us on local ecology. His spotting skills are amazing, and he is also a skilled and trained photographer. So in one person we had a reliable driver, interpreter, ecologist, photographer, friend, DJ, and he even assisted us in exchanging money. What a guy!! He is prominent in our photos and memories of the trip.
There was one instance in particular where the whole staff at Morning Star went beyond expectations, and which demonstrates the perspective of the company. It’s a small detail, but shows the perspective of the company. On our final day on safari we were tired, and making the drive back to Nairobi. The location where we had planned to stop for lunch did not have a meal to our liking, so we ask James to just continue to Nairobi, as we had snacks and didn’t really need to stop for lunch. He seemed disappointed we didn’t get to have our last lunch, but we didn’t mind.
As soon as we got back to our hotel and washed, we got a message from Joy in the office that they were disappointed we didn’t get to enjoy our last lunch, and the staff asked if they could take us out to treat us for a dinner instead, which we accepted. They took us to a beautiful (near) 5-star restaurant and we met Joy face to face, as well as Denis (chief operations officer) and driver Augustine, and we were impressed to learn that Denis and Joy have both graduated from university programs in tourism management, and you can tell.. amazing conversation with great people. Denis explained the attitude of the company and staff, it was inspiring. We enjoyed Augustine’s company so much that, with a couple more days left on our trip in Kenya, we decided to ask if Morning Star would do another 1 day safari around Nairobi, and Augustine made himself available for that. We saw the more-often visited tourist destinations nearby Nairobi, and again, made a new friend with Augustine.
After we departed, Morning Star kept in touch to make sure our onward travels had gone well, and made sure to check in with us when we got home. Wow!
I could tell we were amongst the best tourism operators while out on safari. Our vehicle (land cruiser) was newer and superior, our guide/driver was superior, the service we received by Joy in the office and all the staff being friendly and welcoming could not have been more responsive and positive.
What a great company, you will be in good hands booking with Morning Star!

A once-in-a-lifetime experience
I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding service provided by Morningstar company during my recent trip to Kenya. Specifically, I would like to commend Dennis for arranging a truly unforgettable itinerary that surpassed all expectations.
My journey through Kenya, organized by Morningstar Tours, was nothing short of remarkable. Thanks to Dennis's meticulous planning, I had the privilege of witnessing some of the most awe-inspiring sights, making it an experience that will stay with me for a lifetime.
Moreover, I must commend the excellent accommodations and dining arrangements. The comfort and convenience provided throughout my stay were exemplary, ensuring that I could relax and fully immerse myself in the wonders of Kenya.
