A special thank you to Gabriel, our driver, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the trip. He was humble, kind, helpful, and always on time. He was also very knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information with us along the way. We always felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of.
I’d also like to thank Joysharon, our booking agent, who was very responsive and helpful from the beginning. She answered our questions promptly and made the booking and planning process smooth and easy.
Overall, the service was professional, reliable, and genuinely friendly. Gabriel and Joysharon both made our trip a great experience. We would definitely book with them again!

Helps make sure we see all the animals possible
We had an amazing safari with Morning Star Tours & Travel, and Gabu made the experience unforgettable.
Everything was super smooth from start to finish. Gabu kept the car clean every day, always made sure we had plenty of water, and took care of all the little details so we could just relax and enjoy the trip. He was patient, friendly, and always happy to stop for photos or spend more time watching the animals.
The wildlife was incredible — we saw the Big Five, the Ugly Five, cheetahs, elephants with babies, lions, leopards, rhinos, and so much more. Gabu was really good at spotting animals and knowing where to go, and we ended up with some amazing sightings and photos.
More than anything, he was just really fun to spend time with. After so many hours together in the safari vehicle, it honestly felt more like traveling with a friend than just having a guide.
We would absolutely recommend Morning Star and Gabu to anyone planning a safari in Kenya. Such a memorable trip!

So well organized and so fun
We had such an amazing experience with Morningstar Safaris and genuinely couldn’t have asked for a smoother trip!
Joysharon was our coordinator and she was amazing from the start. She was always super responsive whenever we had questions and made planning everything so easy. We never felt like we were left wondering what was happening or what we needed to do next.
Gabriel was our guide for the safari and he was absolutely wonderful. We spent so much time together over the trip and he really took care of us. He kept the car clean throughout the safari, always made sure we had plenty of water, and handled all the little things along the way so we basically never had to worry about anything. We could just get in the car every morning and enjoy the day.
He was also super patient during the game drives and always tried to get us the best views of the animals. We never felt rushed, and the whole trip felt really flexible and relaxed even though we were moving between multiple places.
What I appreciated most was just how easy everything felt. Safari involves a LOT of driving and logistics, but somehow we never really had to think about any of it. Everything was organized, reliable, and taken care of for us.
We had an incredible time in Kenya and Morningstar was a huge part of that. Huge thank you to Joysharon and especially Gabriel for taking such good care of us throughout the trip. We would 100% book with Morningstar again and recommend them to our friends and family!

Unforgettable experience
We had a great safari experience in Kenya. Everything was well organized and on time. Our driver Julius was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. He really went the extra mile to make sure we had the best experience possible. Also cares about the wellbeing of the animals which was very important to us. We saw the Big5 and so much more. 10/10, would do it again.

Smooth sailing
Stephen from Morningstar went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable.
The car was comfy, but able to withstand the “African massage”, Stephen always punctual and ready to answer any silly questions we might have or provide insights. Ended learning quite a bit about
the animals as well as the life in Kenya.
Quite a bit of years of experience under his belt in game drives, thus we’ve managed to knock out the big five in the span of 6 days, having visited Amboseli, Nakuru and Maasai Mara!

Best experience ever
It was one of the best experiences ever. We had so much fun!
Managed to see the big 5 and much more. Our guide Mwlolo (Stephen) was a very very experienced driver - he knew every road and destination by heart. He knew every park, every road and places where we could find animals! He went an extra mile to show us black rhino (they are very rare!!!) and leopard (very hard to find). It always depends on luck to see animals but he was not hesitant when he heard about them on the radio. Stopped everywhere we asked and told us a lot about animals, safari and Kenya in general. We could rely on him 100%.
The tour was shaped according to our desires. We did: Amboseli (2 nights), Nakuru (1 night) and Masai Mara (2 nights). Even though the ride from Amboseli to Nakuru was very long - it was definitely a good decision to have Masai Mara as the last destination so we could enjoy hot air ballon the last day!
Morning Star is an amazing company with very good communication and offer. They send you a quote with exact prices of each thing, so you can easily change accommodation to your budget and/or add activities.
Mwlolo (Stephen) is amazing, could not recommend enough!!!

“They make sure every moment of the trip counts.
Our tour guide Willy was amazing! He was knowledgeable, spoke good English, and was also a very patient and reliable driver. Even with our long flight delay, he waited for us and welcomed us with a warm “Hakuna Matata,” which made us feel so much more at ease after the long journey.
He really went all out to make sure we got the most out of our trip. He made sure we saw all the animals we wanted to see, and even contacted other guides in his community to find the best spots for us to get good photos. And with the rough roads, we always felt safe with him driving.
Really grateful to have had him as our guide — he made the whole experience so much more enjoyable! 🦁❤️

Very responsive and flexible with all requests.
Denis was very responsive when organising the trip and amended the tour many times to suit our needs. He was easily contactable on WhatsApp and responded very quickly, the whole booking process was very easy.
Our tour guide was Alex, he made a good trip even better ! He is so attentive, always on time, extremely knowledgeable and always got the best spot for viewing and pictures, not just of the animals but of the landscape as well.
We saw all of the big 5 and ugly 5 and again this would be all thanks to Alex, he was always in communication finding the best encounters.
Alex also has a great sense of humour which made the trip even better especially when you spend a lot of time together in the Jeep.
The accommodations were amazing that are part of Morning Star but overall Alex made the entire experience and we are so happy he was our guide!
Better than we could have imagined
We had a fantastic experience with Morningstar. We had issues with our flight and lost time on our scheduled safari, but the team did everything they could to make sure we got to experience everything on our itinerary.
Our guide, Gabriel, went above and beyond to maximize our time on our trip. He worked hard and made sure we saw everything but we didn’t feel rushed at all. We learned more from him in a few days than we had on our entire 2 week trip in Africa! He was so nice, very funny and informative, always on time, and made sure our itinerary was exactly what we wanted (especially given the shortened trip). Having a good safari guide makes all the difference and we are very grateful we had Gabriel.
