Professional and caring company made our Safari just perfect!
I started planning our family (3 girls in the ages of 24, 19, 15) travel more than 2 months before the trip. Joseph, our travel agent from Morning Star provided all the information I needed (through numerous iterations) to create the right Safari trip for us. Joseph responded at any time to every question and tried to say Yes on almost every request. Our start was challenging when we realized at the airport we need a Visa before our flight. Joseph was amazingly helpful to get our (late) applications (took forever on the government website) approved in less than an hour. Since we missed our flight, and took only few hours later, Joseph arranged an hotel for us on our arrival (near the airport so we can sleep properly) and a driver to pick us up. He even came by himself to welcome us at the airport and make sure everything goes smoothly.
The Safari itself was amazing, all the 4 reserves Joseph recommended were perfect (Amboseli, Naivasha, Nakuru and of course Maasai Mara). Our driver, James, was so friendly that we became friends. He is also a professional and identifed every animal and even every bird we saw (verified on the book :). He attended all our needs and all our requests for games drives and stops. When we had a delay and afraid to miss our lunch in Sofa Lodge Nakuru, Joseph again proved resourceful and arranged an alternative lunch in the sister lodge in Naivasha. He even made all the arrangements required to get us on time for our flight to Zanzibar after an early breakfast before we left the lodge. Joseph kept checking if we need anything and was there to resolve even minor issues.
This was one of the best trip our family had and we know we will return back to Kenya. Joseph, from Morning Star will get our first call!

A super wonderful choice for Safari, it’s definitely worth it!
Morning Star is a really reliable tour operator. Our trip designer, Joysharon, was really patient and nice. We talked in more than 30 emails. She helped schedule the whole trip based on our plan, and kept following my feeling about the trip during the Safari, the hotel she chose was so excellent. And our tour guide, James Muema, I would say he’s the best! He is not only energetic, and kept helping us looking for animals, but also really good at taking pictures! We had wonderful experience from the trip, we would recommend our friends choosing Morningstar!

Reliable and going for the extra mile
Our tour guide and driver Rono really did his utmost to have an enjoyable safari week with him. Very knowledgable and spotted animals way before we did.... And with patience we were able to view the big 5. Previously it took me 3 weeks of safari to have that chance, so well done Rono!
Communication with Morningstars through Dennis was very easy and effectively, sometimes responses within the hour.

We are a couple and a safari was my husband’s dream trip.
I looked online and found Morningstar and sound me ok. Best decision ever.
My practitioner was Alice and the driver was Alex. They were both amazing.
Alice was able to understand what I wanted from the trip and adapt the plan accordingly. She was always polite, understanding, sympathetic, empathic and always always responded promptly to any query, even during the trip.
I found that this was a very smooth and easy holiday thanks to her, very similar to what I would do if I was booking it myself.
Alex was an excellent guide. He could find the animals in places that I would never find. He has the best eye sight ever. He was always polite, on time, kind, explaining the things around. He respected the plan but also suggested adaptations so we could take the most of our trip (what worked wonders).
This was not the most affordable travel, but that was our choice. We decided to have an extra day in Nairobi to rest, a jipe for only 2, and our hotels were quite good.
By the way, the choice of the rooms was on spot considering the major opportunities of each hotel, for example, the room in Naivasha allowed us to see the Hypos at night, otherwise, we would have not seen them so closely.
I do not regret a second using Morningstar and I am very happy for the professionals we had.

Morningstar were fab. I'm so glad we booked with them - Alice in head office was amazing. She helped us plan the perfect break at a really great cost. I must of changed the plan 10 times and nothing was too much trouble. Everything went so smoothly and there were no hiccups at all.
Willis, our driver was excellent - knew the parks like the back of his hand, always knew where to spot the animals and went the extra mile to make our trip perfect.
10/10 would recommend.

Amazing view and Reliable service
Dennis is we two's tour consultant. From the very beginning, he showed professionalism and reliability in arranging our travel plans, easing our worries about our 1st time African visit adventure. Despite the time zone differences, he always responded promptly, even during late hours, making it feel like his service were available 7x24(surely not..). Amazing Team!
I had a great experience with MorningStar.
I booked 5 days Safari and 3 days Diani Beach stay.
Denis, Tour Consultant has planned every detail of the trip and was very responsive to messages.
I went for option with downgraded hotels so that it was more affordable. The accomodation he booked was still very good and I was happy with it.
James, Safari Guide/Driver always knew where to find animals and was knowledgeable about them. He was taking photos using my phone so that I could concentrate on watching the animals which was very sweet.
I can highly recommend Morning Star !
