Morningstar are an amazing company who tailor make your safari to your specific needs!
We started our initial enquiry about safaris with Morningstar in December 2023. Alice was so responsive in her replies. She used WhatsApp to communicate which made response times to queries very fast. She was extremely patient with us as our itinerary changed many times. She recommended the hotels and safaris to go on and also organised a bespoke tour of Nairobi for us so we could visit my mother’s childhood home. Alice was with us every step of the way during the booking process. We had initial reservations about booking direct with a company in Kenya from the UK but those reservations were unfounded as Alice was very meticulous in explaining everything to us. The payment process was also seamless, being an online transaction of which we received payment confirmations from Morningstar’s bank and Alice almost immediately.
There were 10 of my family on safari and Alex and Rono were our guides and drivers in two modern Landcruisers. We cannot commend both enough for their knowledge, experience and friendliness. They went out of their way to make us experience the real Kenyan safari by searching for the animals so that we could see them all. In fact we had seen all of the big five by day three!
I cannot recommend Morningstar enough and especially Alice, Alex and Rono. They are all amazing and I am happy to call them all our friends now that our safari is over.
If you are thinking of booking a safari in Kenya then you should look no further. These guys are top notch. They are a growing company but small enough to care about your individual needs!
5 stars!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Warm, attention to detail, personalized, very positive.
I wanted to share my amazing experience with Morning Star. From the moment my sister started planning the vacation to the final booking, the entire process was flawless. Denise and my sister-in-law meticulously planned every aspect of the trip, customizing it to our preferences. Even when a family emergency prevented some of our relatives from joining, Morning Star was incredibly accommodating.
During our safaris, we were in the capable hands of our driver, Willie (or Wilfred as we fondly called him). His wealth of knowledge and experience ensured that we had an unforgettable game drive experience. Not only was he skilled at navigating the wildlife-rich terrain, but he also made our time together engaging and educational. Willie's calm and pleasant demeanor made any unexpected challenges seem minor.
I wholeheartedly recommend Morning Star for your next safari adventure. Their ability to personalize and tailor the trip to your needs is truly exceptional. Despite not initially planning for it, we were even able to squeeze in 2 hikes into our itinerary, thanks to their flexibility.

Dennis was very responsive, knowledgeable and thoughtful, the service was impeccable
I recently had the incredible opportunity to embark on a safari adventure in Kenya, and I must say, thanks to Morningstar, it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment we landed to the last game drive, every aspect of this trip was well planned and executed, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will stay with me forever.
The highlight of the trip was, of course, the wildlife. We were fortunate enough to witness the Big Five—lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo—in their natural habitat. The Masai Mara was teeming with wildlife, and our guide Augustine was not only knowledgeable but also passionate about conservation. Every game drive brought something new, from a pride of lions lounging in the shade to a herd of elephants crossing the savannah. The close encounters with these majestic animals were truly awe-inspiring.
Our lodgings were superb based of Dennis’s recommendations, blending luxury with the raw beauty of the African wilderness. We stayed in a tented camp that offered comfort without compromising the authentic safari experience. Falling asleep to the sounds of the wild and waking up to a breathtaking sunrise over the plains was an experience I will never forget.
Our guide Augustine was an expert in his field, with an incredible ability to spot animals from afar and provide detailed insights into their behavior. His passion and dedication ensured that we had the best possible experience, making every game drive exciting and educational.
The landscapes in Kenya are simply breathtaking. From the rolling plains of the Masai Mara to the towering Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance, the scenery is as much a part of the experience as the wildlife. Dennis suggested us to visit Tsavo West that was not on my original plan and it turned out great. We enjoyed the forest and Devil’s lava. The sunsets were particularly stunning, painting the sky in hues of orange, pink, and purple.
This Kenya safari was a dream come true. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or this is your first safari, I can’t recommend this experience with Morning Star enough. The combination of extraordinary wildlife, luxurious accommodation, rich cultural encounters, and outstanding service made this trip unforgettable. If you’re considering a safari, Morningstar should be at the top of your list.

Excellent
Our recent safari with Morningstar was an absolute dream come true. From the moment we started planning, the team made the process seamless. Our primary contact, Joy, listened intently to our preferences and crafted the perfect itinerary.
We were happy to have Willy as our driver, whose deep knowledge and passion for the African bush was truly impressive.
We appreciated the 3 day spent at Diani beach after a week long safari game drive. We also did Nairobi National Park, but after Maasai Mara and Emboseli it didn’t seem impressive. We liked the restaurant Carnivore they recommended a lot.
All in all, we had a wonderful holiday.

Amazing Safari Trip with Morningstar Safaris Kenya
My family and I had an amazing trip with Morningstar Safaris in Kenya from 20th to 28th July . It was supposed to be a lifetime experience and my family thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
We started to plan for the trip in February and contacted a few agencies for quotation at www.safaribookings.com. While most of the agencies have similar packages, we chose Morningstar because of their flexibility, price transparency and professional communication. Alice Mora, who was the agent handling our trip at Morningstar, was prompt in communication, provided all the necessary details even before asking and created a custom itinerary for us. Given the short time, we wanted to stay the first night at Amboseli or Naivasha (instead of Nairobi) to maximize our safari experience. It was only Morningstar that was able to provide a viable customized trip plan accommodating this request.
After the initial payment (40% of the total amount), Alice kept us updated on the progress of the hotel bookings on a regular basis. As it was the peak season, she was not able to book us the same hotel in Amboseli (we stayed 2 nights at different hotels). That said, she was proactive and upfront in her communication. The payment process was also hassle free as it was done online with Pesapal taking less than 10 minutes of time.
After we landed in Kenya, we met with our guide/driver Surat who helped to create an exceptional experience for us. Surat is an experienced driver who is operating in the Kenyan safaris for last 9+ years. He was friendly, fluent in English, highly familiar with animals and knows the intricate roads of Kenya (he used some rural roads to cut the travel time from Nakuru to Masai Mara). Because of his amazing spotting abilities we were lucky to get close to a pride of lions while there was no other cars nearby. He also helped us to spot a lone cheetah on the road while we were travelling from Nakuru to Masai Marah!
Given my experience above, I would highly recommend Morningstar to any tourists going for a safari experience in Kenya. At the same time, we would love to come back again to explore the other parts of this great country!

Tim,our guide and driver, was very good and a great spotter. His knowledge of the "bush country" and humor was well appreciated.
All in all this was the best safari trip I have been to in Africa..and I have been to a total of five!!!

Most Amazing Trip Ever!
As a solo traveler, and my very first trip to Africa as a whole, I was a bit nervous as to what to expect. This trip turned out to be my most memorable and the best yet.
Morningstar was very accommodating in helping me put together the most epic safari expedition. I settled on a 8 day safari tour between Kenya and Tanzania.
The parks. The selection of parks was perfect for 8 days, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Amboseli. Every time I thought I had seen it all, there was something new in the next park.
The accommodations. The accommodations were so amazing and at times felt unreal. I booked the luxury package, which was a combination of lodges and one camp inside Serengeti. I was very happy with the choices, even during peak season and booked just a few months out.
The guides. The guides were experts at the parks and knew exactly how to locate the animals. I was able to see the Top 5, and several rare sightings such as a cheetah with 5 cubs and witness the hunt to feed her cubs. The up front sightings felt unreal. The guides were always early and on time, professional, and aiming to please. Not only were they there to provide their expert guidance, but helped me breeze through the border transfers multiple times, navigate the local landscape, and ensure I had everything needed during my accommodation stays.
The hiccups. A missed connection altered my arrival time. I was able to always reach the tour company in which they sprang into action to adjust my pickup time and location. They arrived prior to my arrival. To take it further, my luggage didn’t arrive with me and ended up arriving one 24 hours later. Morningstar went above and beyond to return to the airport, retrieve my luggage for me and get it to me when I was already 6 hours away from the airport. Their response was simply Hakuna Matata. My luggage arrived promptly and in tact.
The honorable mentions. I have to mention a few people who really went above and beyond to ensure this trip was truly memorable. First and foremost, was Alice. Alice was integral in helping me put together the most epic itinerary, choosing the best accommodations and parks. She was also super integral in facilitating the hiccups and getting my luggage. She also adjusted her schedule on the back end of my journey to help me experience some local Kenyan culture prior to my departure. I also need to mention Jackson. Jackson was an expert at breezing through Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and border exchanges. He is an encyclopedia knowledge of the animals, parks, and landscape. I learned so much from our time spent and couldn’t believe it breezed by. Last but not least William was an absolute joy to have as a tour guide and felt more like a friend. He truly has a passion for safari tours and made my time at Amboseli memorable. All of staff at Morningstar truly went above and beyond to ensure all of my needs were accommodated for before I even knew they were needs.
Definitely looking forward to returning.

The best patient and warm service
I contacted a lot of Safari companies in advance because I wanted to have my wedding in Africa, morningstar always replied very fast, kendy is a very patient person, she solved a lot of problems for us and prepared a surprise for my wedding in advance, I think it was the most memorable day for me!
Our guide joshua had years of safari experience, was calm and polite, found lots of animals for us, very professional!
I think this is one of the best memories I will ever have in my life, thank you for their service, it has left me with a very good impression of Kenya.
