5/5

Thank you very much to Archie and Muza for an incredible experience in Zimbabwe and Botswana.

Since my very first email, Archie, couldn't have been any more of a gentleman and customer care was 100%.

Nothing was a problem and suited all our needs and more.

Local company with amazing knowledge and very affordable prices for our safari package including nights in Vic Falls.

Muza accompanied us throughout and is an asset to the company and a great guy.

Please book with Africa Uncovered and enjoy the magic of Victoria Falls, Chobe NP, and Hwange NP plus much more

Much appreciated from
Michael and daughter Lauren from the bottom of our hearts

Muza was helpful and organized and accommodating
5/5

We went on a 7 day tour of Namibia. Everything was as advertised. Accommodations were great. Muza was a wonderful guide and it was so nice they hired local people to conduct the tours along the way. Very interesting. But be prepared for long drives between places. Namibia is a large country with similar scenery. Archie kept in touch during our trip which was so appreciated. I would recommend this company.

Service provided by Africa Uncovered Safaris could be described as customer orientated. The response from Archie to our requests were quick. The routine itinerary had been adjusted so as to meet our expectations. The lodges and hotels he arranged were comfortable and clean. Cosmas, our guide, was reliable. We enjoyed every things of the tour and was no doubt to ask AUS to plan for our future trip.

Unforgettable Botswana Experience
5/5

We had an incredible 6 days / 5 nights safari organized by Uncovered. Muza, our guide did an excellent job, trying to fulfill all our needs and requirements, he is an excellent driver and a very good company. Archie, the Operations Manager, was very quick with his responses and able to offer alternatives at all times. The trip was well organized, the accommodations well-chosen and the value for money was fair. We recommend Uncovered Safaris unconditionally for trips to Southern Africa and are looking forward to come back. Thank you sou much, Archie an Muza!!

Absolutely perfect experience!

If I had to choose only one word to describe this team, it would be a 'Professional'.
I met Archie & Muza for a 7-day trip. They gave me an immediate answer and crystal clear information from scratch. Every moment of the trip was very well organized by them. Everything on my itinerary was exactly the same as it actually was. They always double checked important issues to prevent falling behind the scheduled plan.

At the same time, they showed me great hospitality. They alway paid attention to me to make sure whether I was feeling comfortable with everything on the trip or not. And they also never lost their sense of humor. Any place was okay as long as we were together.

It was my first time going to Africa. Besides, currently in Korea, it is very hard to get up-to-date information about travel to the African continent. I was very anxious regarding this trip for a number of reasons such as safety, visa issuance, disease and etc. But since I met them, everything was going to be easy. I enjoyed myself very much during the tour.

If I come back to Africa, I'll definitely go on a trip with them again. Hopefully see you soon Muza and Archie!

Absolutely amazing!!
5/5

There are no words that do justice to how amazing our experience with Africa Uncovered was.
Archie and Muza were a phenomenal team. They made us feel so very welcome and supported from the beginning till the end.
The trip was planned to perfection and they were always very clear on communication
-letting us know what we were doing and when and what we needed to do/bring.
We travelled throughout Zimbabwe and Botswana with Muza and could honestly not have asked for a better companion. He was attentive, funny and extraordinarily kind.
Archie takes care of the administrative aspect od the business and replies swiftly to messages as well as checks in regularly to make sure all is going as planned.
If you're looking to do a trip I would whole heartedly recommend this company. Don't even look elsewhere, just book with them now.
Thank you so so much!

Tatenda Archie and Muza!

Incredible, affordable, friendly

I would definitely recommend booking with Africa Uncovered Safaris. Their communication during the booking process was excellent and very helpful and friendly. They offer affordable tours with quality, comfortable accommodation and cater for a variety of dietary requirements.
Their destinations have a great variety of activities to experience across several locations. Local tour operators are very knowledgeable.

The small group size meant a personalised experience with Muza being a friendly and organised guide who was always on time and reliable. Would definitely use again.

Archie was very easy to contact and was able to fulfil all of the things I wanted to do in Africa.
5/5

After booking my tour with Africa Uncovered 8 months prior to my trip, Archie was incredibly helpful in supporting and answering any questions I had.

I did a 7 day tour of Victoria Falls, Chobe and Hwange national park. Cosmas and Jafara were on hand straight away at the airport and they were my guides for the trip. Although they didn’t do any of the guiding for the actual tours I went on, they were there for anything I needed, drove me around to each destination and were amazing company during meal times.

The team were great at organising excursions. I had a walking tour of Victoria falls, a helicopter tour - 100% worth every penny, a visit to the elephant orphanage - personally I wouldn’t go back as wasn’t the natural authentic experience I was hoping for, I went on the jet boat - although this was cool to see the falls from below, there wasn’t much ‘jet boating’, and did a gorge swing which was terrifying but great. Next time I’d try out one of the activities on the Victoria falls bridge. A really highlight was the evening sunset dinner cruise along the Zambezi. Pure Africa was the boat Archie booked me into and they were incredible!
I also got the chance to experience Boma. This is a great place for dinner where African culture really comes to life - think traditional food, dancing and drumming!

Then I headed to Chobe national park in Botswana. Make sure you get a dual visa if doing this trip as you will head back into Zimbabwe after. I went on an afternoon river safari which was amazing - all the hippos, birds and elephants were about.
The next day I had 2 game drives in the park, one at sunrise and one in the afternoon. Chobe is pretty small so you’re guaranteed to see all the animals when cruising around. The elephants were a particular highlight for me. Seeing them
With they babies playing in the water was magical. I was booked into the Kwalape safari lodge. As there were lots of other big groups, the hotel put on a show from local dancers which was amazing!

I then headed to Hwange, a 3-4 hour drive from Chobe back into Zimbabwe. We stopped off at the painted dogs conservation where I learned all about the amazing work locals are doing to try and stop poachers from killing this beautiful species. I then had the privilege of visiting the homestead of a local family in the village. They welcomed me so beautifully, showed me their home, their crops, they demonstrated how they cook, create their houses, they got all the animals around - it was a time I will remember.
In Hwange I stayed at the Miombo safari lodge. Beautiful setting with a huge water hole in the middle to encourage animals at night and boy did they come! Elephants can each evening and kudus also came to get some water.

The next day I did a 10 hour game drive in Hwange national park - what a place! We didn’t even touch the sides but it was amazing to see the different vegetation and species. I was lucky enough to see everything I wanted: zebra, giraffe, lions, leopard, kudu, eland, elephants galore, impala, zazu birds, hippos and birds galore!

I went home a very happy lady!

One thing to consider when booking these holidays is the price of things. Zimbabwe is much more expensive than Botswana. That includes food, drink, tipping etc.
